I closed my locker and looked at Will. He was walking down the hallways with his new friends. I rolled my eyes and started walking to the cafeteria.
Sasha and Tasha arrived beside me and both of them were texting on their phones like they were being paid for it. I had no idea how they were even managing to walk straight.
We walked into the cafeteria and just like yesterday silence fell, but this time it was different. There were whispering and I smirked as I started making my way to an empty table at the opposite end of the room.
When we passed the table Michelle was sitting at, she stood up and walked with us. More excited whispers erupted and as we sat down and I put my sketch book on the table and started drawing.
Sasha and Tasha went to go and buy food for us all. I had given her the money to buy it so that they wouldn’t be here when Leila arrived. I didn't know if they could handle Leila in person.
I heard heels clacking loudly and I smirked silently as I started putting some more detail into the moon I was drawing. A circle here... Some shading there...
“What the hell do you guys think you're doing?”
I looked up when I heard Leila’s outraged voice and I had to fight to contain my laughter. She looked like she was ready to throw a tantrum.
“Drawing?”
I asked questionably and if possible Leila turned even redder.
“No. What the hell are you doing sitting here? You're supposed to be sitting there.”
She pointed to the table we sat at yesterday and I saw my brother giving me a blank look. I started back at him and then back to Leila.
“No. We sit where we want. I don't recall the school giving us special lunch seats.”
I stated as I put my pencil down and sat back in my chair. I could tell that Leila was going to say something not so nice, because she got this cynical smirk on her face that looked even worse than Wills'.
“Leila. Enough.”
I looked at my brother as he came over to us and I watched as he put his arm around Leila’s shoulder and I felt my eyes widen...
What the f**k was going on here?
I stared as Will steered her away. I stood up but I felt arms latch around my waist and push me down again.
Someone was breathing down my neck and it sent chills down my spine as I inhaled. The smell of musk and soap was drifting around me.
“Ignore them. They are trying to get to you.”
Liam. What the hell was he doing? And this close to me? And in front of Leila?
I turned my head to the side and sure enough, I was staring into his dark blue orbs. I felt my heart skip slightly and I chose not to pay attention to it.
“What are you doing?”
I whispered and Michelle was sitting there gaping at me and Liam. I noticed that Sasha and Tasha were walking towards us and they looked paler than usual.
“Well... Leila thinks she can get to you by getting to your brother-which clearly worked considering your reaction. So now it's your turn to get to her.”
He smirked and I stared at him in confusion. What was he getting at?
Sasha and Tasha sat down and one of them cleared their throat so I looked at them.
I watched in horror as three other guys arrived and grabbed empty chairs from the other tables and put it with ours. Liam sat on the empty chair that was at our table.
“What are you doing?”
I asked harshly and Liam smirked.
“Having lunch.”
I stared at him in disbelief. I have never met a cockier bastard than the one sitting before me. He looked away and pointed at his friends.
“That's Caleb, Damien and Cole.”
He introduced and I recognized the names Caleb and Damien from the guys who were at our house last night.
Caleb was fairly built with tan skin and honey blond hair with brown eyes. Damien seemed like the total bad boy with his hair gelled to perfection and his leather jacket. Cole had brown hair and blue eyes, but he seemed less built than the others.
“That's Sasha, Tasha and this is Michelle.”
I introduced. I saw everyone was still staring at us and I heard the tapping of a foot and I looked towards Leila and saw that it was indeed her tapping.
“Told you it would work.”
Liam whispered in my ear and I gave him a pointed look. I was still confused about last night and why he was so eager to hide those scars.
“Why were you in my room last night?”
I whispered and I made sure that no one at our table was paying attention to us.
“Because I needed to make sure you won't tell anyone about them.”
He stated as he stole my smoothie.
“Leila knows, doesn't she? How do you know she won't tell anyone?”
I asked and I watched as he smirked even wider.
“Leila was always on top.”
I felt my face heat up and I put my attention back on my drawing. I could hear him laughing silently and I started eating my chocolate first.
“Blushing are we?”
He whispered in my ear and I pushed his face to the side and gave a humorless laugh.
“Pfft. No.”
I answered but I knew he knew I was lying. He sat back with a satisfied smirk and I rolled my eyes as I took a bite from my chocolate and continued drawing.
