~some hours later, morning, palace~

Diana's pov

"Alright Your Royal Highness! The more casual clothes will be here this afternoon. What about the sport clothes and the shoes?" Natalia asks smiling.

I raise my eyebrows confused and Violet with Victoria smirk.

I took them with me in order to help me a bit with the room's new furniture and my clothes because I feel lost and out of my waters.

I am trying to precede everything that has been happening but I can't and this 'Your Royal Highness' is...

Damn it! I can't even describe how I feel and the worst part is that Destiny, the i***t wolf of mine is the biggest traitor there is!

She enjoys it and I am speechless!

I decided almost everything about the room, the wall's colors, curtains, furniture and their new places and Victoria is going to take care of some details because I have to go, I am going to get late for training and to be honest I am excited Daniel is allowing me to do this even with him by my side. I have missed it very much but I am nervous, it is the first time I will have him by my side and I don't know what to expect.

They all say he is the best and I don't want to seem like an i***t.

"You are an i***t now! You are the best fighter there is this moment and we if hadn't been shot one year go then we would have been officially the number one in the rank!" Destiny says rolling her eyes and I sigh.

"Yeah, whatever..."

Now back to our main topic. Daniel asked from Natalia, the stylist to come here because I am going to need more clothes and I was surprised because he meant casual clothes. He had already ordered them to bring me elegant, classy yet formal clothes and now with the sport clothes I don't know what to say.

"But... I already have sport clothes!" I say nervously and she smiles shyly.

"I am aware of it Your Royal Highness but His Royal Highness asked me to bring you more." She replies and I turn to Victoria that nods her head immediately.

Okay, two things!

Number one, he is trying to soften and make me soften as well and number two, he was serious about the whole training thing because otherwise he wouldn't have asked from Natalia to bring me more clothes for this.

What a clever asshole he is!

But, I have to admit that this is in favor of me and I like it. He allows me to do something I like and I can't ignore it completely.

"Finally, your thoughts make some sense!" Destiny commends again smirking ironically and I growl at her.

Remind me to have a good talk with her later!

"Alright then! I think that..." I begin but the door opens (we are in my previous room because my 'new' one is a mess right now) and Ellie gets in dressed for training.

"I am sorry to interrupt but we are going to get late Diana. Aren't you done yet? Thomas and Daniel are already waiting for us at the arena." She says walking to us and I sigh.

What did I tell you before? I am late for training for the first time in my life!

"You can go then Di. I know your preferences and I will tell Natalia." Violet states quickly and I nod after I think about it for a second.

"You are right! It's a deal then. Thank you very much Natalia. Victoria if you need me anything just inform me, okay?" I ask in hurry and they sign in agreement.

"Your Royal Highness!" Natalia says and bows, I force an awkward smile and then turn and leave with Ellie right behind me.

We get in the corridor and she closes the door behind her. She turns to me and I give her a meaningful look that makes her freeze.

Well, well....

"And now the two of us!" I say leaning closer to her and she stiffens nervously.

How well does she know me?!

"Split it!" I say through my teeth and she clears her throat.

"Um... What do you want me to say? I have no idea what are you talking about!" she whispers and takes one step back.

"Oh really? I didn't manage to stay alone with anyone but now with you... Why did no one inform me about all these? I feel like an i***t!" I say in the lowest tone there is trying to stay calm but not with a very pleasing result.

"Diana... I have nothing to do with it and I got informed too late... We all did what we had been ordered. We didn't even see you before breakfast!"

I sign for her to come with me and we start walking to the stairs. I have so many questions and I want to speak to someone but I don't have so much time.

"When did he talk to you?" I ask as we keep on walking.

"He didn't talk to us! Victoria and Jonathan called us in his office once we returned from the club some time after you and Daniel. He had already talked to them... He had made his plan and they just told us what was going to happen. I mean about you and him having the same room, about you taking the place you deserve and... These! What happened with the training now that Hunter had to leave was something I learned before I see you at breakfast!" she says and wraps one arm around me smiling in excitement.

I roll my eyes again and groan confused. I don't know what to say, I can't understand him at all!

"Just admit you like it and stop being mischievous girl!" Ellie says teasingly and squeezes my arm.

"Ellie, I have to sleep in the same room with him! I have no personal space, no freedom and now they all know who I am! Did you see him at the club? He made it obvious!" I say in frustration and she giggles.

"I saw him and I know what you mean but... He is finally changing Diana, he is doing the right thing and he is stepping back somehow, the clothes, the training... I understand how you feel because I was panicked when I had to move in to Jeremy's room but I was excited as well! I am sure Daniel won't do anything you are not comfortable with so try to calm down. You need to spend time with him, live by his side in order to reach to a good yet safe conclusion!"

"I don't know Ellie, really! Last night I told him how I feel and..."

"See?" she cuts me immediately and rubs my arm.

"He listened to you and understood that he was wrong! He was so sweet and cheerful this morning, he got emotional, he... He loves you Diana and you... You have feelings for him so stop being so hard on him!" she continues and I bite my lower lip thoughtfully.

I know she is right at some point and I also know that I am way too suspicious with Daniel but I am scared, I don't want to get hurt again and he never talks. This is not helping my insecurities!

"But he never says what he feels or thinks." I whisper in disbelief.

"Silly woman! Even if he tells you... You won't believe him, you are not ready. He is doing the right thing. Let his actions and behavior talk to you first. Now come! We have training to attend!"

Third person's pov

Diana got in the arena with Ellie to find everyone there already waiting for them.

Daniel was talking with Thomas and some fighters and once he noticed them he turned to her direction but opened his eyes widely from her clothes.

She was wearing black sport leggings and as for the top she had chosen a dark blue sport bra and her hair was up on a high tail. The bra was too revealing for him and the leggings too narrow and he was about to growl but he closed his eyes, shook his head and took a deep breath doing his best to stay calm and act casually.

He didn't want to ruin everything because of his jealousness. They all knew that Diana was his after all so he had to act wisely and don't frustrated her more.

He opened his eyes one second later and Thomas tapped his back with a meaningful smirk like he was reading his thoughts. Diana was too close to them with Ellie and the fighters couldn't hide their enthusiasm. They all loved her very much, she was their previous commander, their friend and now their Queen. It was an honor to have her and Daniel there with them, they were feeling more confident than the usual!

"Hello everyone!" Ellie yelled in her usual crazy way and they all laughed walking to Diana.

"Your Royal Highness!" they all said in union and got ready to bow.

Diana took a disappointed expression but said nothing. Daniel that had his eyes on her distinguished her 'bitterness' and felt hurt.

He knew she wasn't used to these things and he was aware of asking too much. He had already made clear that she was his Queen, his mate and now he had to relax. Also, he was generally not demanding, he had asked from the fighters to call him by his name and the servants too close to him were his family. They were bowing to him only in special yet formal occasions.

"Guys..." he began and the murmurs stopped while he took his place next to Diana and placed his hand at her bare back sending chills to every part of her body.

"There is no place for these formalities. For you we are just Diana and Daniel. We are cooperatives and friends." He continued and Diana blinked her eyes surprised but smiled thankfully at him in the end.

"Right..." Thomas murmured wickedly and Ellie chuckled.

"So..." Daniel began again.

"As you know Hunter had to leave for some days and this is why Diana and I will take his place for as long as he is going to be away. I will try to attend every training but if I don't make it Diana will be here to supervise and help you like before. Feel free to bother us for any problem you have at any time. Right?" he said turning to Diana that was staring at him speechless and she nodded immediately.

"And now that we agreed..." he continued and kissed Diana's cheek.

"I think it's time to get started!"

~about one hour later~

Diana was observing Daniel showing some moves to some of the fighters while the rest were fighting each other in groups.

She was impressed from his abilities and the way he was advising and helping everyone in need. She had to admit he was a great trainer, he was strong, calm, confident yet patient despite what she was believing until now.

And he was the best fighter she had seen, just like Victoria had told her. No one could compare to him and she was shocked.

Daniel was getting higher in her eyes, suddenly he wasn't useless as she had been calling him.

"What a lucky woman you are my Queen..." Ellie whispered through their personal link and stood right next to her smirking with her eyes scanning everyone around.

Diana turned to her annoyed and Ellie giggled. She was right, Diana was too lost in her thoughts to notice and she had to help her and open her eyes...

"Our King is an amazing teacher with lots of skills and qualifications in all the sectors..." she continued giving a devilish smile to Diana that narrowed her eyes confused.

"What the hell girl? What..."

"Look..." Ellie interrupted her immediately pointing Daniel some meters away from them.

Diana turned immediately to that direction and gasped while Destiny made her appearance in her mind and growled.

"The asshole took off his blouse!" she murmured under her breath so that only Ellie could listen to her and her hands turned into fists.

She felt a huge wave of jealousness drowning her and she couldn't take her eyes from Daniel's full of muscles body. She had already seen him about one or two times before but only for a while and now it was different. His muscles looked even bigger now that he was getting trained and he was using his strength, he was sweating and his veins were obvious even from that distance.

She was about to go to him when Ellie teased her by giving her a small push with her elbow bringing her back to reality and she almost jumped up. She sighed trying to get rid of her frustration but it didn't seem to work. Daniel was challenging her discreetly.

"You came with a bra, he took off his blouse. I think it's fair, right?" Ellie asked her wickedly and Diana snapped her head to her with a dark, furious expression.

"With whose side are you? I am your best friend!" she screamed through their link and Ellie rolled her eyes.

"Girl, yours but... Look at him! You have a masterpiece in your hands! He is so... Hot and sexy, this body of his is..."

"Are you kidding me? Are you serious? You are admiring my mate Ellie?" Diana screamed and Ellie broke into laughter.

"Finally! You admitted it! He is your mate, your man! YES!" she yelled and tapped Diana's shoulder while trying to breathe.

"i***t, I didn't mean it that way! I... You have a mate, you can't do this to Jeremy and... God!" she said in desperation and stopped realizing that she didn't know how to express herself while Ellie was still laughing with some pauses.

"I am just playing! I have eyes only for Jeremy! Silly woman, you have to see your expression! You are going to kill someone!"

"Yes, Daniel!" Diana groaned and looked at the five other she wolves, the other women in her team.

They didn't seem affected from Daniel's appearance, they already had found their mates and Diana knew they were crazy in love with them but she couldn't calm down.

Daniel was certainly doing it on purpose and he had the result he wanted, she was angry, jealous and...

"Stop it horny woman." Ellie exclaimed laughing worse than before and Diana punched her arm frustrated.

Ellie was right, Diana was feeling a sudden desire for Daniel and she was going to get aroused in the end. It would be the worst embarrassment for her and she had to stop thinking of him the way she was but Destiny wasn't cooperating a lot with her. She was acting like a puppy, her main interest was Daniel and his new behavior.

"Ellie stop laughing at me!" Diana shouted still through their link.

"But you are so cute! Look at you, you are blushing, soon you are going to look like a tomato!"

"I promise you that..." she began to say but Ellie gave her a playful punch and soon they ended up punching and pushing each other like little girls ignoring everyone around them.

Soon they were murmuring things to each other, they were chuckling and laughing and their behavior didn't get unnoticed.

Daniel stopped helping the fighters, the groups stopped fighting and they all turned to Diana and Ellie that seemed to be in their own world. Thomas broke into loud laughter and Daniel smiled watching Diana's red cheeks.

He was her mate, he knew her body better than she could imagine, his smelling ability was stronger than the others, he just knew his small plan to get her jealous was successful.

He walked to Diana and Ellie slowly and Ellie that saw him stopped and held back a scream, a warning one for Diana. She was clearly going to give her a heart attack but she was finding it sweet!

"Are you two alright?" Daniel asked wrapping his arms around Diana that hadn't noticed him.

She jumped up surprised and gasped overwhelmed from the sparks but the next second froze like a statue as he leaned on her and kissed her neck. Ellie had suddenly stopped laughing, she was smiling and Thomas with the others was exchanging gazes in understanding in a complete silence.

They didn't want to ruin the moment, they liked them together!

Diana closed her eyes feeling her body getting hot from Daniel's touch and she placed her hands on his awkwardly. She didn't know what to do, she couldn't think, only feel.

Destiny was shaking her tail in alert but she wasn't interfering. She had perked her ears and she was sitting down in silence. She wasn't helping Diana with her behavior and she knew it.

Daniel from the other side couldn't stop smirking in Diana's neck. He had already kissed her but he hadn't pulled back on purpose. He could feel her tension and he was pleased but he knew he wouldn't manage to stay under control for too long and he had to do something.

He cleared his throat and pulled back, he lifted up his head with Diana still in his arms and turned to the others.

"Guys, I think we are done for now. Some can't concentrate very much today... See you tomorrow!" he stated and smiled teasingly with Diana forcing a smile.

They all nodded in agreement and turned to leave while Thomas approached them and Ellie managed to find back her lost breath. Fortunately Daniel had helped her with his interfering. Diana got out of his hold as gently as she could and he smiled at her casually.

"I think we have to go... I want to see our room!" he stated with Thomas signing in agreement.

"Yes! I also want to see what you chose but not today... Maybe from tomorrow!" Ellie spoke up and Diana stiffened nervously.

They were all helping him!

"I don't think it is ready although... It has been only some hours and... Isn't it too soon?" Diana asked Daniel confused and he smirked walking to some sits close to them.

He took his jacket without talking and then walked back to Diana that was staring at him troubled. He placed his jacket on her shoulders and Ellie giggled earning a loud growl from Diana.

"I think we have to go and find Parker, Andrea and Peyton. Excuse us!" Thomas stated pulling Ellie with him and turned to leave.

They got out of the arena very quickly leaving Diana and Daniel alone and she looked around her nervously. His eyes were burning her and the fact that he was shirtless wasn't helping her at all. She knew what he wanted and this time she couldn't fight him back, it was pointless.

"Shall we?" Daniel spoke up first making her sigh relieved from his words and she nodded but stopped almost immediately and narrowed her eyes at him.

"What?" Daniel asked worried.

"We are going nowhere before you put on something! Cover yourself for luna's sake!" she said through her teeth and crossed her hands in front of her chest while tapping her foot on the ground in frustration.

Daniel chuckled but said nothing. He just nodded and pointed his blouse on the sits right on their left and she shook her head in understanding. They walked to the sits and once he took it in his hands he put it on and then turned to her smiling innocently.

"I think I am ready now, right?" he asked casually and she groaned.

"Yes... Sure..."

~some minutes later~

Daniel's pov

"I told you there is no way they are done! The room is enormous and..." she says and pauses once we get too close to our bedroom.

She blinks her eyes some times and gives me a troubled look. I raise my eyebrows innocently and then smirk.

"I can't believe it!" she murmurs and starts walking again, this time with bigger and faster steps.

"This is my special team Diana! I know what I am doing, this is their job!" I commend as we stop right outside the room and my mom gets out smiling.

"It's... Done? Already?" Diana asks her with a shocked expression.

"Of course baby. They just left! I took care of some small details and you are free to go and see it! How was training?"

"Perfect, they are all great!" I reply and she taps my arms softly.

"Fantastic! Now excuse me but I have to supervise some preparations for the dinner tonight! Do not forget that Caroline will be here in a while, get ready!" she says and with this she walks away leaving me and Diana alone.

I have to say that her expression is priceless! She is more than speechless and she is cute! Well, she is always cute, even when she wants to kill me but today... It's something else.

"Shall we? I am dying in agony!" I say impatiently and she exhales heavily with a worried look.

"You won't like it, I changed it a lot, at least this is what I think..."

"Come on! I told you to. There is no problem, I don't have any specific preferences and if you like it then I am more than fine with it!" I say opening the door slowly and leaving her get in first.

I take a deep breath and believe me I am excited because I mean my every word, I will love every single thing because it is her chose and I get in to freeze next to her.

I mean this is...

"Amazing!" I exclaim breathless and I can't stop myself from smiling like a small kid.

This is... What we need!

"I love it!" I whisper too close to get emotional and she turns her head to me.

"Really? It has nothing to do with your old room and..."

"It is our room, not mine and I love everything! It was about time this room to have warmer colors and style!" I say and hug her without giving her time to react.

I kiss her forehead doing my best not to cry and look around me breathless.

The walls are painted in light beige, white and light blue tones, the bed is in the middle with some darker blue details that are matched with the carpet, right opposite of it there are two armchairs and after the bed we have one living room in the same colors' tones.

It's not black or dark grey anymore!

"And your mother said that they were going to change completely the closet room! I have no idea what happened in there!" she whispers timidly and I laugh.

"But I have. It's not only one, they are two!" I say cheerfully and pull her behind me.

We get in from the door on our right and the room gets separated in two immediately, from the beginning!

Diana's is white and enormous with drawers, wardrobes, shelves and cupboards, some windows and an elegant makeup vanity mirror with secret light and as for mine...

It is dark grey, almost black, thankfully and it is much smaller than it was but I understand that Diana is a woman and needs more space so everything is perfect!

"I didn't ask for this! I promise, I..." she begins worried and I quickly place my fingers on her lips and stop her.

"I know, I asked for this!" I say in hurry and she opens her eyes widely.

"What? Why?"

"Because you need it!"

"I don't get it!" she whispers lost and I bite my lower lip in excitement.

She is sweet and her eyes are killing me.

Great Diana! You are going to be the death of me!

I lean on her and she starts shaking nervously but I know she is not scared, it's just awkward that we are alone. I kiss her forehead and she relaxes somehow.

Everything is going to be alright, I feel it!

"You will understand soon! And now let's get ready! Caroline is on her way!"

~some hours later, evening~

Third person's pov

"My dear, I missed you! I was worried about you!" Caroline said and hugged Diana tightly.

"I missed you too! I am glad you came to see us!" Diana replied and Daniel with his parents smiled.

"So where have you two been?" Landon asked next meaning Caroline and Daniel that had gotten out for about two hours once Caroline had arrived.

"Yes... This is weird! Caroline always comes to greet us first!" Elias commended thoughtfully and Daniel gave him a discreet warning look.

"I wanted to talk to him about something. It has to do with my Kingdom!" Caroline said quickly and Jonathan nodded nervously.

"And also we talked about the fact that Caroline knew everything about Diana and never told me!" Daniel spoke up next and Diana stiffened lowering her gaze.

"I think we should get inside and stop talking about the past. Everything is like it should have been and it happened for a reason!" Victoria stated and they all nodded.

They all got in the private dining room.

First was Daniel with Caroline and Diana, then Jonathan with Victoria and Robert, Landon with Nikki, Ellie and Jeremy and in the end Elias with Aiden, Violet, Parker, Andrea, Peyton and Thomas.

The rest of the fighters that had been having their meals with them under normal circumstances were already eating at the other, larger dining room as Victoria had asked and Thomas with the guys and even Hunter were part of the family for everyone, like Violet and Aiden, no one wanted them to miss and that was the reason they were present.

They all took their usual sits with Diana right next to Daniel that seemed to be very calm and happy. He was talking, laughing, joking and Diana couldn't take her eyes from him, not that Daniel could stop looking at her...

They weren't even trying to be discreet, they were lost in each other and their family didn't want to interrupt them.

Landon and Nikki were teasing each other and Ellie was talking with Jeremy, Thomas and Andrea while Violet and Aiden were having a funny discussion with Caroline and Victoria. Robert and Jonathan were having a talk on their own and Parker with Elias and Peyton were telling some stories from the period they had began training.

It was almost the end of the dinner, about two hours after Caroline had met them and Daniel was talking with Landon about the permanent army's progress and Diana was a bit bored listening to Jeremy explaining to her, Ellie and Nikki how they were choosing the counselors. The girls had to take part in it gradually and especially Diana but she wasn't so fan of the idea. She had already expressed her opinion about them, they were useless and the incident with the bracelet from silver was the proof.

She sighed heavily and turned her head to Daniel. She observed him extendedly for some time and narrowed her eyes when her eyes landed on his shirt's sleeves that were folded to his elbows.

How had it come and she hadn't seen it earlier?

Dust, dirt?

That was what she could imagine and she shook her head confused because Daniel had worn his clothes right before Caroline's arrival. It was clean when he had put it on and now...

"I think it is time for me to go!" Caroline stated loudly bringing her back to reality and she snapped her head to her direction.

"Come on! It's not that late!" Elias complained.

"But I have a long drive till my palace... And you all seem tired!" she replied and stood up with everyone mimicking her.

"I had a great time, thank you very much! I promise I am going to visit you again soon!" she said and began greeting everyone in person leaving Daniel and Diana for the end.

When it was their turn she smiled at Diana and pulled her in her arms emotionally.

"I am very happy for you and... I have a gift!" she whispered and kissed her forehead.

"Daniel told me you love roses so..." she continued broke their hug slowly and murmured something with her eyes closed.

Diana gave a confused gaze to Daniel that seemed to be in the same condition with her and after a second a quite big flower pot from glass appeared in Caroline's hands with a small rose in it.

"This is for both of you. For your new room..." she explained and handed it to Diana that took it with great enthusiasm.

"Thank you Caroline! It is amazing!" Daniel said and kissed her check.

"And I think I already know its place!" Diana stated and he nodded.

"Now, it's time to leave. I am waiting for you two one of these days... Don't forget about it!" Caroline said and Victoria with Jonathan and Robert left to accompany her outside.

"Good! And now time for some rest! I can't move my feet!" Landon stated with meaning and Nikki rolled her eyes.

"I see... And I know what you have in your dirty mind!" Ellie teased him and Jeremy hugged her laughing.

"So we say goodnight!" Parker said and they all nodded.

Diana said nothing, she was getting nervous. She knew what was coming next for her! She would share the same room with Daniel and she was freaking out but she had taken a decision! There was no way she would sleep on the same bed with Daniel!

She was going to take the couch!

She followed everyone upstairs with Daniel never leaving her side like he was afraid that she would try to run away and the pot in her hands.

It didn't took them long to reach the top floor and they gradually become fewer as Parker with Andrea and Peyton got in their room very soon, next left Thomas and later it was Aiden and Violet's turn. Soon Elias got in his room and after two doors Nikki and Landon got in their room because Nikki had accepted to stay with him about two some days ago and Jeremy with Ellie got in their own right opposite of them.

The atmosphere got heavy yet tensed the second Jeremy closed their door and Diana did her best not to leave the pot fall from her sweating hands.

Daniel read her body's language and bitted his lower lip not knowing how to behave. He didn't want to stress her more, he had no intention of making any inappropriate move but feeling her in so much tension wasn't helping him act casually.

They continued walking to their room and once they reached in front of the door Daniel opened it and signed for Diana to get in first.

She walked in with timidly steps and Daniel opened the lights and joined her in silence. He closed the door behind him with the noise making Diana almost jump up and he rubbed his head nervously.

"Um... Where do you want to put the pot? It needs sun, right?" he asked her and she nodded looking around her.

"I guess we can put it on the table in the living room. It has too much light from the windows and it will be warm enough. It won't be alright next to balcony's door." She replied and he shook his head in agreement.

"I guess you are right! It will be better there! Give it to me, I will go to the living room anyway!"

"What do you mean?" Diana asked him surprised.

"There is no way you are sleeping on the couch Diana. I am taking it from now!"

Diana's pov

I observe him taking the pot from my hands shocked with a widely open mouth and Destiny sits up in alert. She is not mad or annoyed, she is pleased and...

Am I pleased?

I mean this is what I wanted. I was afraid of sleeping on the same bed with Daniel, hell I am afraid of even sleeping in the same room with him but now...

I think I am... Disappointed yet sorry!

"How did you... I..." I whisper unconsciously and I walk behind him as he gets in the living room and leaves the pot on the small table.

"I am not such an i***t! And I know you are not ready so you take the bed, I take the couch and we are perfectly fine!" he replies turning to me and I lower my head hurt.

This is killing me! He shows understanding and I feel bad. I didn't come in here to take his bed, his amenities, his space. His dressing room is too small compared to mine and this is a big change for him!

"There is no reason. I can take the couch! I am fine with it!" I say firmly and get ready to take one pillow from the bed but he prevents me.

"But I am not fine with it!"

"Daniel you are too tall and bulky to be comfortable on it! I will be fine!" I protest and he stops instantly, leaves the pillow again on the bed and caps my face in his hands leaning too close to me.

I breathe his exhaling and he closes his eyes with his face's muscles tensed and I start feeling hot again. I remember how I saw him today during the training and I feel like I am getting crazy, I...

I feel desire and I want him but I am scared!

I can smell his frustration and I am very close to lose my self control.

This is not good Diana! This is disaster!

"My Queen is never going to sleep on a couch..." he whispers touching his forehead on mine and I place my hands on is arms.

I am unable to stay away from him for too long, especially after today. I see another side of Daniel and I can't deny that I feel I was too unfair to him, maybe harder that I had to. He is so...

Different today, so caring and soft! He has been approaching me but I don't feel bad like before, I am getting used to it and this is because he is calm and his energy is helping me.

"I..." I whisper but stop breathless.

He takes one step touching his body on mine and I start trembling instinctually. I feel sparks all over my body and I sigh overwhelmed. He groans immediately moving his hands from my face to my waist and I understand that he is doing it only because he is fighting with himself as his hold is tighter than before but not enough to hurt me. I move my hands higher on his arms, on his shoulders and he presses his lips together shaking.

Shit! I want him and...

I am an i***t! The bond is stronger than I had imagined, I can't fight it for too long...

"Diana..." he whispers huskily and I gasp.

"Thank you..." he continues and I look at him while he is having his eyes still closed.

"For what?"

"For being alive and... Still here!" he says and opens his eyes again.

His light, green mesmerizing eyes meet mine and my heart stops beating. I feel drown and the next thing I know is his lips getting crushed on mine for a breathtaking kiss that cuts my knees.

I wrap my hands around his neck and he presses his lips on mine asking for entrance that I gladly give him and he moans in my mouth. Our kiss is not gentle or slow, it's wild and full of passion and desperation. I can't step back, I need more and the more he keeps on kissing me hungrily the more I am melting.

I feel ready to explode, something inside me is getting ready for something I don't know and Daniel helps it get worse!

I feel his hands moving up and down my back, I press my body even more on his and I get paralyzed when I feel his manhood.

FUCK MY LIFE!

This is definitely not good but I love it!

He groans again burying his one hand in my hair while the other holds me on him and I moan in his mouth.

I just need more and...

He breaks our kiss leaving me breathless yet disappointed and he exhales harshly.

What happened now?

What did I do?

He places a gentle kiss on my forehead watching my expression and then smiles at me warmly. I look at him confused and he pecks my lips while taking a step back.

Cold air hits my skin, being away from him doesn't feel right anymore and I stiffen annoyed yet heartbroken while he caresses my chin.

"Goodnight love!" he says and turns heading slowly to the bathroom.

I shake my head in confusion and run my shaking hands through my hair desperately with my eyes never leaving his figure.

"Are you alright?" I ask unconsciously not knowing what else to say and he stops and turns to me with a melancholic look.

"I will be once I take a cold bath..."

"What..."

"I need to calm down!" he interrupts me and I take one step to him but he takes one back and sighs in frustration.

"Why? Daniel, I..." I begin but I stop breathless.

I don't know what to say anyway. I am too dizzy!

"It's not the right time Diana, not yet." He states and I sit on the edge of the bed feeling ready to collapse.

It hurts, it's like he is rejecting me again.

"I can't." he says again making me look at him more confused than ever.

"What?"

"I can't stay away from you anymore!" he says and I see some tears falling from his eyes.

I instantly feel my vision getting blurred and I do my best not to cry but I know I can't do this. It's above me. I close my eyes lowering my head and I place my hands on my face.

My skin is burning and my hands feel too cold, almost frozen, my heart hurts very much and my head is killing me.

I don't know what has gotten to me! From the one hand I want him and at the same time I feel like I have to wait.

I was never so scared, even death wasn't able to kneel me down and now with Daniel...

I don't know!

"Can you please look at me?" I listen to him saying and my hands get pulled away from my face gently.

My wet from tears eyes meet his and I lose my breath for once more.

Is he in pain like I am?

He kisses my hands slowly without leaving his gaze from my eyes and caresses them with affection that makes my heart melt.

This is a new feeling completely unknown to me and I own it to Daniel.

What am I going to do? What does he want? Why did he stop?

"Don't forget what I am going to tell you, yes?" he asks suddenly and I nod quickly in desperation.

"I can't be away from you because..." he begins and stops to take a deep breath.

"I am yours! I belong to you Diana!"

Hello my friends!!!

The 23th chapter is here and I love it because Daniel and Diana's closeness! It took me the whole day to write it but it's done!
