Chapter-1
Hello, this is Steve. I will tell you my story about how it picked up a tragic turn from being elementary to something complex. Before that, you need to know how simple and happy-go-lucky I was. It was a lovely Saturday evening, me and 3 of my friends were roaming in a red-coloured Aston Martin Vantage feeling the drift of air through the windows.  After enjoying the breeze for a while, we stopped at a nice camping spot in Toohey Forest Park, Brisbane, Australia. So now you know where I live, yeah its Australia. There are just many remarkable facts about Australia. It has one of the lowest air pollution levels in the world. It has unspoilt nature with a wide variety of beautiful natural ecosystems. It is truly a multicultural society. It has a temperate climate with efficient health care systems. It is a great place for a vacation, job opportunities, education and what not. That’s a lot of information, I guess.                                      We all laid on the meadow where we halted, looking at the sky with the thoughts of getting high, but the only problem is we neither drink nor smoke except for David, who smokes and drinks often. He is a kind of person who doesn't prefer brands, prefers to be simple with a ' just chill’ attitude. He is a skinny person who always wore loose clothes and had tattoos here and there. He has brown curly hair. He’s got brains but doesn’t use as he stays high most of the time. He bought a packet of Peter Jackson with him. It’s the cheapest of all cigarettes. The other two friends are Ronny and Nyssa. We four had the best moments together.                                      While staring at the sky, Nyssa asked, “What will we be doing in the future?” David kept smoking, ignoring her. We’ll keep hanging out, I guess, said Ronny. Perhaps we’ll become responsible. I said and sighed. Maybe, Nyssa muttered unsurely. It got dark, and we decided to return home. We got up and walked towards the car. But Nyssa wanted to stick around for a while, so she was reluctant to get up.  "Get up, now,” David yelled. As he was already high, Nyssa got up silently and sat in the car. I kind of felt bad for her. Nyssa is smart and persistent. She is an example for “Beauty with Brain.” Her fair complexion accompanied with red hair made her look so ravishing. If she weren’t a friend of ours, Ronny and David would’ve asked her out long ago. Even though she doesn’t work out, she is fit. Short top and jeans are her favourite combination which she usually wears most of the times. She is not the silent types, but she had to be cause of the situation. And that's how David is when he smokes. I dropped everyone at their places and returned to my house; sweet house except for the fact that it was empty.                                                                                                               I live alone. Both my parents passed away when I was 1 year old. The police claimed that it was a car accident. It was extremely depressing in childhood, but with the aid of John, my father's associate, I struggled but got over the pain. I guess if we have lots of money, it’s easier to get over the pain. My parents left me with lots of properties and wealth. Life becomes much easier with money and influence in your hand. And most importantly I love my house. It’s like a castle in one’s imagination. It had pools, gyms, luxurious rooms, Antique furniture, and gardens blah blah blah. Sorry, I forgot to mention that I’m the CEO of my father’s company called ‘Phoenix.’ Though I’m a chief executive, I didn’t really take matters seriously. Most of the company’s projects and contracts were governed by my uncle John. So basically he runs the company and I just sign the deals. I totally trust him with the company. Uncle John is about 45 years old. He has been working for the company since the beginning.                                          Coming to my social life, I just have 3 friends: Ronny, David, and Nyssa. Apart from them, John is the only family I’ve left with. He took care of me since my parent’s death. I just have a chain in the memory of my mother. Also I don’t know why I didn’t have a girlfriend. I was single for almost my entire life. However, I didn’t feel the need to have a significant other. I am not a gay if that’s what you are wondering. But I had a crush on an actress named “Phoebe Tonkin”. She was just beautiful in series “Originals”. The crush list is long, but she tops the list.                                            I fell asleep soon that night as I was tired from our little hang out. I woke with the sound of a text notification. It was eight o’clock in the morning. That’s usually the time I wake up every day. But that day I didn’t feel like I slept for many hours, it just felt like a few hours. It was normal because of the tiresome day that I had. I unlocked my phone to see the message. It was from Nyssa in our f*******: group named “The Fantastic Four.” It read "10 o’clock at Corner Street Café.” Soon after seeing the message, I got up from my bed and worked out for a bit then freshened up and ate some cereals and left to the café. Nyssa was already there when I arrived drinking her favourite latte. She prefers milder coffee, hence latte. I, on the other side, just love any kind of coffee. That day I ordered Mocha: it refers to chocolate that has been added to espresso and hot milk. We talked about how her work was going on. She works as an intern in “Brisbane Bio Ltd”. She studies mutation: permanent alterations in DNA. That’s an interesting subject. She’s a genius in biology. Her father abandoned them when she was 2 years old. Her mother had taken care of her ever since. She also passed away two years back. She looks after herself with the stipend she earns. We all met each other in kindergarten and remained friends ever since. Meanwhile, Ronny and David joined us, and they ordered cappuccinos. No matter how much time we spend together, we never get tired of one another. That’s how strong our bond is. David is a part time drug dealer. He mostly paid his expenses through petty smuggling. We begged, asked and even fought sometimes to stop his addiction but he never listens. Whenever he falls short of money, I always helped him. But he is that kind of person who doesn’t like to be in debt so he returns it as soon as possible. At last comes Ronny; he has his own tech store called “Tech Solutions,” where he deals with software and hardware problems. He appears as an ordinary person by his attire but has more potential than his demeanour. He is basically a technophile. He is twice the size of David. He is muscular and has wheatish complexion and had black hair. He makes a decent living with his income. Out of all, I’m the richest person and it felt good in a way, but we had no differences among us regarding that aspect. We talked for like 2 hours straight. Ronny had to leave soon to fix a computer because the customer was cranky. So he had to be on time before the customer lashes out on him. We had a group hug and then parted our ways. I didn’t want to head back to mansion. As I was driving to mansion, I got a call from Uncle John. Steve: Hello Uncle. Good afternoon. John: Hey Steve. Where are you? Steve: I’m on my way to mansion now. What is the matter? John: Can you swing by to the office once? There is a contract that requires your signature. Steve: Sure, John. I’ll come right away.                                ****** Call disconnects ******
