I glanced at Kenton when I saw him in the field. He was gathering their equipments and what surprised me was he kept on glancing at the west side of the bleachers were Kenton's ex and her boyfriend were sitting close to each other.
I don't want to believe what Sean told me yesterday but it seems like he was true. The way Kenton kept on glancing at the couple and looked like he was really jealous!
I rolled my eyes and I just didn't want to think about it because I don't want to get depressed. I glanced at the baseball members who was throwing and catching either a fly or ground ball when I saw Mac waved his hand at me and gestured his hand at his mouth as if he was drinking.
He want me to bring him his water. That lazy asshole. But I don't have anything to do anyway. I grabbed his bottle of water and jogged down from the bleachers.
I passed the other members and they're also saying to bring their water there and I raised my middle finger in their faces and they just laughed.
I didn't even looked at Sean when he called me. I walked straight to where Mac was and handed him the bottle.
"Thanks." He said while removing his glove from his left hand and grabbed the bottle as he thrust his lips to me exaggerating and nudging closer as if he's about to gave me a very disgusting kiss for bring him his water there.
"Ew! I won't bring you your water here again if you do that." I said and he chuckled before he drank it.
He gave me the bottle back empty and waved his hand shooing me away. I threw the empty bottle to Mac only for him to catch it with his gloves on and threw it back to me. Mac kinda threw it far so I ran to desperately catch it when I heard shouts and a ball was flying right straight to me.
My feet seems glued on the ground, when someone wrapped his arm around my shoulder and turned me around shielding me from the ball then I heard a loud thud. My heart was pounding so fast inside and I looked up to see Sean smiling at me.
"You okay?" The troll in shinning armor said and I nodded.
"Sean, you okay?" I heard them asked him and he nodded. I saw Diesel, who threw the ball, ran to our direction.
"I'm sorry. I kinda threw it too hard too." Diesel said. "We should take you to the infirmary."
Sean was still wrapping his arm around my shoulder. It was my fault and I felt so guilty about it so I assist him to the infirmary.
"I'm sorry." I said out of guilt.
"No. I did it on my own will so you have nothing to worry about." He said.
"Does it hurt?"
"No, just slightly throbbing."
We went inside the infirmary and the nurse stood when she saw us.
"What happened?" She asked.
"He just got hit by a ball." I said pointing Sean and she raised her eyebrows.
"Baseball ball." Sean added and she nodded.
"Please take a seat." She opened the curtain covering the nearest bed and motioned Sean to sit down which he did. "Where were you hit?" She asked and Sean pointed the back of his upper right arm. "Let's me see it then."
Sean lift his shirt and he seems to have difficulties to do it with one hand so I volunteered to do it. It's not as if it's the first time I'm seeing his body. I lifted the hem of his shirt and pulled it up revealing a pale skin which was way too far from the color of his tanned arms, neck and skin that could be hit by the sunlight.
I hate to say it but Sean have a glorious body enough for me to kowtow in front of him and praise him for it.
I winced when I saw the dark red spot where he was hit.
"Is it bad?" He asked while trying to look at his back.
"Yeah. Why did you do it! Does it hurt?" I said and I really felt so guilty and concerned.
"I told you already—ughh!" He groaned when I pushed the area with a finger.
"I thought it didn't hurt?"
"Because you touched it!" He said and the nurse gave me a cold pack full of ice cubes. Without warning, I placed the pack on his back making him hissed and jolt in surprise. "You're not fit to be a nurse. You might accidentally kill your patient." Sean said making me roll my eyes.
Whatever!
I was thinking how to thank him but I can't bring to say those two words. I really wanted to say it so I swallow my fvcking pride.
"Thank you." I muttered and I can feel him froze for a moment before he turned his head at me, smiling—or more like grinning.
My heart was beating so fast for only saying a simple thank you. Because I'm not used on saying things like that to him.
"What did you say?" Sean said while placing his hand on his ear as if he didn't heard it making me frown at him.
"I said thank you." I repeated.
"What?" Sean said now grinning widely and I just wanted to choke him!
"Stop pretending that you didn't hear me!" I pressed the cold pack on his back a little harder but he just chuckled.
"Okay. You look cuter but I don't accept thank you without a kiss." He said and I could feel my face started to heat up.
"Fvck you, Sean Moulton!" I placed the cold pack on his face and march outside the infirmary.
