CHAPTER: 40 Light in Sky-2

Megumi gets his phone to call his mother and ask her permission to meet but suddenly he cuts the call even before she attains it. Then Megumi slows gets out from the room and gets to terrace. Even while walking towards the terrace Megumi was being deep in his mind and thinking about why he suddenly cuts the call, his mind was surrounded by deep confusion.

   Why did I cut the call? I wanted to speak with her and say about my life but why all the sudden I got something like fear in my mind and cuts the call. After all these years I thought I was being away from her because I wanted to be away from her to give her happiness back but that’s not true the truth is always hidden behind my own lie and now it taking its step ahead when I tried to call my mother.

   Megumi was watching the sky and looking on flying birds and thinking about his own lie. The main reason I got away from her and wanted to keep distance from her was not because she needs to be happy or I am giving her life happiness which my father didn’t give her. The thing which made me feel fear to meet her and look at her face and speak to her was she was really hating me and seeing my father in my face. I really hate if my mother hates me and gets away from me.

   That’s the reason and that’s the fear which makes me not to meet her and not to make contact with her. If I get near to her and talk with her I am thinking what if she says that she hates me for being his son also sometimes I wanted to kill my father but deep down I have some love towards him… I think so that’s why I left him without killing all these years.

   “Father you are really a villain to my life and to my mother’s life but thankfully you gave the divorce for my mother that’s the only good thing you did to her and that’s the reason now you are being alive. From my experience of life there is no true love and if does in this world then sure it never gets onto my hands, that’s for sure” Megumi was speaking slowly and answering little loud for the questions his mind asking repeatedly.

   At that time Miyuki gets to that place and saw Megumi there and asked to him “Why are you being here, sir?” After seeing her Megumi asks her to sit and started to tell his confusion to her for knowing the way to overcome the fear and confusion and talk to his mother. “Megumi I really want to talk with my mother and say everything to her but for some reason I can’t able to call her, my fear overcomes it”.

   “She is your mother sir so you don’t have to feel fear towards her. If you really want to ask then you should ask on better person because I never had a mother to face this kind of problem. But my father always said that every mother loves their child, it’s so simple they love them because they are their children. So without any doubt every mother loves their child”.

   Megumi was little happy and slowly his fear was fading out from his mind by listening to Miyuki’s words. “You really think that my mother will not hate me and gets away from me just because I look like my father?” Megumi asks to Miyuki and that time Miyuki gets near to him and open her mobile and get into camera and tells to him.

   “Look at yourself and think your mother’s face sir. Sure you will find out that even half of your appearance look like your father but still that other half of your appearance his looks like you mother. That’s what I believe so think again do what you want to do sir” Miyuki said to him and waiting for his answer. She just looking at him and seeing his face and finding that while his hope gets rising his face getting brighter.

   “Yes Miyuki I will believe in your father’s word. I think I mother will not hate me just thinking about my father. I am her son too so sure she will talk to me and listen to me. Miyuki so much thanks to you, I am really cleared my mind by talking to you” Megumi and gets down from terrace to his room to call his mother and talk about the meeting. And Miyuki stands and watching birds flying and seeing the sky and enjoy the weather.

    And at the Izumi’s room Kayle entering silently while Izumi was sleeping in his bed and sees him sleeping. “You are really being like a child while sleeping Izumi. I never thought you would be so cute with this face. I think being like child in mind are looks cute while sleeping because sometimes Miyuki too looks like baby in sleeping”.

   After some times Kayle gets out from Izumi’s room to prepare food for Miyuki. She knocked Megumi’s room and said “I am going to prepare food for Miyuki and if you want to eat food then cook by yourself don’t except that I would prepare for you” Kayle said and started to move from that place. Megumi was thinking about how should start the conversation with his mother and tell about everything, he planning to talk with her after so many years.

   And he gets the idea about call her tomorrow and ask about meeting tomorrow evening so he can able to meet her and also have chance to speak freely without any work tension. And he called his PA June and asked her to make free time for tomorrow. “If any important project work presentation was pending then finish it by yourself. I have important work on tomorrow evening so prepare it June”.

   Megumi said to and she also accepts every request but she didn’t ask about details of tomorrow important work. I think something good thing was happened to my boss because he was planting work on me and also his voice was totally different tone than normally he speaks to me. I really want to know what the reason behind it was but I don’t want it now to know, I am sure he would really talk to me about it after getting back from the beach house.

   After he gets out for shopping and looking for a nice restaurant to speak with her mother and enjoy the moment. By seeing the restaurants Megumi saw some shops having the fireworks, soon he realize that Miyuki didn’t watched the night firework because of the kidnapping and other things around. I think I need to get some of that and prepare tonight so Miyuki would be happy by watching it.

   It’s like a different way of thanks for her help also, so it really helps her to get back to normal and forget about the tension and bad memories she recently faced. And he buys some night fireworks and gets back to the beach house and calls Miyuki outside alone. “Miyuki get out with me I have one surprise, you will really enjoy it I am sure of it” Megumi said and dragged her outside by holding her hands.

   “What was your surprise sir? Just tell me soon and why are you getting me out here sir?” Miyuki was asking him continuously question because she can able to guess what Megumi was planned to do as a surprise. “You will see when we get to the spot” Megumi said and took her to the spot where he placed the fireworks and after seeing it all Miyuki was so amazed and surprised.

   She never thought Megumi would do like this to her. “Sir I never thought you would do this to me. Is this the type of thanks you were giving to me” Miyuki asked to him. “Not exactly correct Miyuki but like my brother’s plan the end of the night we are going to celebrate with firework but for some reason we can’t able to do it and you are so into it. That’s why I got it for you and also the way of thank you for helping to get my fear out from my mind”.

   Miyuki was so surprised and happy and she asked about Izumi and Kayle “Where they both I think Izumi and Kayle also going to come here but the time was running”.  Megumi said to her “Izumi wanted to spend night firework with Kayle so he would express his feeling to her and develop his love. So without any choice we are going to see the firework alone but we are going to enjoy it”.

   Megumi cheered her and lighten the firework faster and soon they started to blast on sky and made a great light and reflect greatly at sea water. Miyuki was laughing and smiling so peacefully and happily. At that moment Miyuki was really forgotten everything about the past memories and enjoyed the moment with Megumi and also that’s the moment Miyuki’s affection towards Megumi risen.

   Until now she never had any kind of affection towards Megumi, she saw him as a brother to her department head Izumi and never exceed her thoughts about him but when she was with him and enjoy the time by watching the fireworks and forgetting every past memories she really started to see Megumi as a different person. For a time she turned her face and watching Megumi than seeing the sky and the fireworks.

   Megumi was enjoy by seeing the lights and reflection on the sea and started to shout so loud. His happiness was so exceed just by thinking about talking to his mother. And Miyuki was smiling at Megumi and looking at him closely. When he saw her back soon Miyuki looks down on sand and then looks at sea and started to talk about the firework reflection.

   “You changed now Miyuki” Megumi said to her and all the sudden she shocked and asked to him “What was changed on me sir? What are you saying?” Megumi laughed at her and said “You get tension Miyuki last time you said looking at the real was really beauty and nice but now you are watching the fireworks at sea’s reflection and talking about that to me”.

   After sometime the fireworks were finished and then after some walk corner of beach Megumi and Miyuki get back to their beds and fallen asleep. Megumi was thinking about how to speak with his mother even while sleeping but Miyuki can’t able to sleep properly because he mind pushes the memories of Megumi on her mind and her feeling was started to rise so fast.
