CHAPTER: 5 First Assignment

I never thought I would accept to work in this department and also I can’t able to see tears in my Kayle’s eyes. It is the least thing I wanted to see or even I never wanted to see.
And that tear was made up my mind to work which I hate to do. Accepted to work in the department where everyone being friendly and enjoying their life. That’s the thing I can’t able to do with them and also hate to do it.
“Miss Miyuki can you come inside to get your first assignment and find details about it”
She was really cute like even I will fallen for her but I am not interested in love I am going to side these thoughts now. She is personal secretary for Izumi who is head of my department and her name is Touka.
“Yeah, I am coming now”
Kayle was doing fine here; this is dream world for her. And Miyuki enters to Izumi’s cabin to get details about the first assignment.
“May I come in sir?”
“Yeah Come in”
Touka collecting paper from printer and arranging it into a file, Miyuki was seeing her surprisingly. I never thought there is a girl just like me but I don’t know what made her to work here.
“Miyuki I think your tension and hatred on this work is gone right now. Can we get to the work assignment?”
“Yes sir, sure. I do but can I ask you something”
“You can now just spell it out”
“Are you giving me assignment without senior help? Because I am new to this work and I have more to learn about this work”
“Don’t worry about that Miyuki I am going to appoint Touka as your leader for this assignment. So you don’t have to worry”
When he said it Miyuki noticed Touka’s reaction. She was not happy about it. What is she really wanted to do in here. Around here she is the one who working tiredness and somehow she was sad when he gave assignment to her.
“Sir, why can’t I be here and help you and place Barry as their leader. You know that I really liked to work for you but I am not good at working with others”
So Touka really just like me and also she was in love with Izumi. This is interesting news and also by knowing this Kayle would be get sad. So I really have to keep this thing quiet and away from her.
“Yeah, I know that Touka but you see being with others also gives some happiness to us. And don’t worry I am adding Barry also. This assignment needs four people”
“Who is the last one Izumi sir other than us?”
“I am going to add Kayle into it because I really like her way of thinking so I am sure she comes handy”
Wow I really didn’t thought Kayle would get good man just by meeting Izumi two times. Also Izumi found her true character just by meeting her two times. He is really the head of department to find person’s talent just by meeting them.
“Then Touka and Miyuki both of you can go and meet Barry and Kayle. They both have the more details about the assignment. I hope you four will work together and finish this project without any fail”
When he said the word fail I sensed the reaction Touka changed on her face. It’s like she really don’t like to be fail also didn’t want to work with us.
“I really will not let you down sir” Touka and Miyuki said in chorus.
After getting out from Izumi’s cabin Touka and Miyuki gets to Barry’s desk, just like everyday he was playing games and checking features of new release games. Barry gets annoyed by standing near to him so he was paused the game and turned around.
“Why are you both being here, I really hate when people stand aside me and watches me. It gets creepy you know that”
“Sorry for that Barry, I know it just now. Really I am here to get the details of our new assignment which our boss gave. Did you see it?”
Barry was just looking at them like he has no idea that he was assigned to new project. “I really don’t know what are you talking about?”
Touka got angered so much, she gets his keyboard and canceled the game and entered to mail. “Just type password and get our assignment’s detail soon. Then send it to me so I can get copy of it and give each in hand”
The tone and attitude also actions are making Miyuki nervous and she feels like she was with some dangerous person.
I really was getting bad feeling whenever she gets mad at anything. And also now I thing she was cursing Barry in her mind. And Miyuki was thinking Touka as devil in her mind like she was standing middle of fire with giant red trident.
And by imagining the things Miyuki was just glaring at her unknowingly. Touka was noticed it but she was just being silent like she was not noticed it.
“Right, I sent it to your mail. You can verify it by seeing on your phone. Now I can continue my game right”
“Yeah, you can do”
Touka gets away from that place and Barry also gets back to his game. Miyuki was just standing there without doing anything. Kayle gets there and asked to her about her work.
“Miyuki are you alright, you like lost your mind on something”
“Yeah, Izumi gave new project for us and Touka went to make ready hard copy of detail Izumi sent to Barry”
“Oh he was giving project to us just like I said to him”
Miyuki was shocked when she said it. What she was talking? Is she is the one who suggested to get assignment soon in first day. Is she really being on correct mind?
“Are you saying that you are the one who asked to Izumi for project?”
“Yes Miyuki I asked it when we both playing games just right before two hours”
Miyuki was surprised and she gets back to her desk slowly and dragged Kayle also. “Why did you asked to him about project?”
“Because I felt bored that’s why and also he helped me now”
With Kayle’s answer Miyuki was really felt sad and looking down. At that time Megumi enters to the department and suddenly the whole started to being quiet like even someone can hear a pin drop sound.
Izumi comes out from his cabin and started to talk with him. But Miyuki cant able to hear anything. Then Izumi and Megumi get into the cabin and closed the door. After he gets in everyone started to feel relax little. By others action when Megumi’s present Miyuki was shocked and also confused.
Kayle gets to Barry slowly and asked about Megumi and why others are started to act abnormal suddenly. And Barry explained everything to her and still Miyuki was watching the cabin and thinking about Megumi.
After Kayle came back to her desk Miyuki started to shoot her question at her. “Who is he? And why everyone started to act normal when he came inside the department?”
“He is the big brother to Izumi. His name is Megumi and also he is the head of Merchandise department and also future heir to this company. He was really not like when people smile or laugh while work. And he likes to be silent in department always. And also if anyone noted by him then they will be in bad state even Izumi can’t help of it”
Kayle finished saying everything to Miyuki and she was watching Kayle with surprised looked. How did she gather so much information about this Megumi person? Is she really did homework to get into this company or she asked about everything to Izumi while playing.
Miyuki was so confused about it. Then she asked straight to Kayle “How did you know about him more?”
“I just now got to Barry’s desk and gathered the information. Miyuki you really need one good work friend otherwise you will suffer when I get leave to job just think about it”
And suddenly Touka came near to Miyuki and asked to come with her to cafeteria. When she said cafeteria Miyuki was surprised and shocked to know that this company has cafeteria for staff members.
“I really didn’t thought company has own cafeteria just for staff members? And why did you asked me to join with you?”
“Miyuki after seeing your report and your actions I think you are the only person just like me. And I think it’s good to talk with you about the project and you can able to explain about it to your friends Kayle”
I think she avoids her because Izumi talks so close and more to Kayle and I think she founds it soon. But as her best friend I have to create friendship for her too.
“If you really speak about project why don’t I invite Kayle also here now?”
“Stop” Touka was freaked out and shouted at cafeteria. And everyone started to look at them.
