The villagers woke up with shocking news the disappearance of Cynthia and the killing of her parents Ezekiel and Martha, they had to prepare for the burial of the Martha and Ezekiel, Alpha and his colleagues were very shocked at the Same time they were very disappointed at what the militant did to Cynthia's parents Alpha and his colleagues gathered with the villagers to prepare the burial of Cynthia's parents Joshua the village elder stood and greeted the villagers in the meeting they responded sadly. There was an eerie of silence Joshua struggled to talk to the villagers.
"Its the most difficult moment in our community we lost two of our village elders who were the most influential in our society" Joshua said.
The women shed tears uncontrollably men was full of anger and vengeance against the militant.
"My sincere condolences to my kidnapped daughter Cynthia" Joshua said emotionally.
The villagers yelled in anger ready to revenge what the militant did.
"Let's plan for the burial of our loved one but after the burial we are going to recruit the soldiers that will go and fight to rescue my daughter Cynthia" Joshua said in vigour.
The villagers stood and clapped emotionally and wailed to show that they were ready to fight the militant, villagers sat Joshua continued.
"I am very sorry to my friend Ezekiel with his wife Martha we lost our innocent souls" Joshua said.
The villagers yelled in anger others crying others wailing.
"Its time we need to have soldiers to protect our community the government is long dead we are not under government protection what we need is to buy the ammunition to protect our community" Joshua added.
"I need the elders to come in front so that we organize the burial ceremony as fast as possible" Joshua said.
The elders came and sat in front.
"I wish to welcome our leader and elder to say word and tell us what will follow next" Joshua said.
Joshua sat Daniel stood he coughed and looked at the villagers sympathetically he almost cried when he saw young children and women sitting helplessly.
"Let me pass the massage of sincere condolences to the entire village friends and relatives" Daniel said.
"Tomorrow we are going to conduct the traditional ceremony to the departed and on the following day its going to be a burial ceremony then for only two weeks we are going to mourn the loss of the greatest people in our society" Daniel said emotionally
"The mourning period is going to be very short since we want to arrange and recruit young men to go and searched for Cynthia our daughter we don't care if she is alive or dead we need to show the militant that we are ready and able to fight them" Daniel said emotionally.
The villagers clapped and the message gave the villagers hope to fight if the militant were to invade.
"Its going to be tooth by tooth nail by nail we are not going to leave any stone unturned we are going to fight to the bitter end" Daniel said boldly.
"We already have the security arrangements on from today henceforth we have our friends from the distant village they are on the way to protect our village during the burial day and all through the two weeks mourning period" Daniel said.
The villagers were very happy to hear what Daniel said they clapped happily and for short while they forgot their miserly.
We have men who can help us to recruit the soldiers Alpha and his colleagues come in front," Daniel said.
Alpha Steve Jack and Dave came in front they stood beside Daniel.
"Here are the gentlemen who had started training the other men Alpha here is a former special force in the army his going to be very instrumental in our village," Daniel said.
The villagers clapped as they stand in vigor and sat Steve saw how the villagers were ready to fight and protect their village.
"We have here Steve Jack and Dave they can assist our young men to train and before I forget Cynthia had been trained on how to use the g*n by this young man I know if Cynthia gets a chance to access a pistol or a g*n she can manage to help herself," Daniel said.
"We have where to start we have the will but what we lack is the ammunition" Joshua interjected
James raise his hand in the middle of the villager Daniel saw his hand.
"James I see you have a word to say come in front and say what you have," Daniel said.
James rushed forward.
"I have an idea where we can secure the ammunition I have friends in our neighboring country Uganda we are going there and we buy or hire the ammunition for us to protect ourselves," James said.
"Yes I think that is a wonderful idea," Joshua said.
"I know where to get the ammunition what we need to do is to do the burial ceremony and then I need ten men we can go to Uganda through the jungle," James said.
"I see you are going to help us secure the ammunition very fast," Daniel said.
"I think we are now prepared for the next course of action what we have to do is tomorrow's burial for our lovely village comrades Joshua said emotionally.
"The young men to dig the grave should be here early morning," Joshua said.
"I have great news we have the security personnel on their way coming to secure our village as we arrange the burial and also as we mourn," Joshua said.
"It's time we disperse for the preparation of the burial women make sure we have enough watermen make sure you have slaughtered the four bulls for the traditional ceremony to be done before the burial" Joshua instructed.
The villagers dispersed Alpha and his colleagues went to assist to s*******r the animals.
The soldiers from Lima village arrived Joshua and Daniel welcomed them they were tired because they came by foot assembled themselves and sat.
"Welcome to our village Zuma I understand Lima village is very far I greet you on behalf of our village they are busy preparing for tomorrow's burial as you see they are going up and down you are most welcome," Joshua said.
"I see you are heavily armed I wish to have such ammunition in our village to protect ourselves" Daniel interjected.
The food was brought for the soldiers they were served and they ate they enjoyed cow's meat and soup they regained strength.
Benjamin their leader came towards Joshua and Daniel.
"We are done show us where we are going to erect the tent it is being brought by the horse after us," Benjamin said.
"Right here is spacious," Daniel said.
After some minutes the horse arrived to bring the tent they erected the tent very fast since it was daytime most of the soldiers took a nap to rest in readiness for evening security work the villagers were very happy to see the soldiers for the first time they felt secure
