Mission to Rescue Cynthia

Cynthia at the farmers tilling the land for planting season has just started the villages had just recovered from the militant invasion the villagers were nursing the emotional ad the physical wound Ezekiel sat outside his hut watching over his daughter tilling the land with her siblings Cynthia looked at his father sympathetically. "When is this suffering going to end?" Cynthia asked herself. Alpha realized her sister is in a dip thought he went towards her. "My sister, what is the problem?" Alpha asked. "You know what we experience in our humble village militant invasion we've lost our loved ones," Cynthia said. She cried emotionally Alpha soothed her but in vain Ezekiel realized he didn't want to go to ask what was the problem he already knew what was going on through experience in the past weeks. Alpha moved towards her. "My sister it will be well don't worry we are going to kill the militant one day," Alpha said "Let's finish cultivating the land we are almost done," Alpha said. They continued cultivating the land Steve-Dave and Jack came to the farm. "You are almost done let us assist you," Steve said. They assisted them quickly they realized that Cynthia was very sad they knew that the invasion of the militant is still on their mind that killed most of the villagers including her friends. "Today we are going to start training everyone is must know how to shoot the guns and even fight for self-defense," Steve said. "That is going to be very helpful in our village I will be glad to know the martial art" Cynthia said emotionally. They looked at each other they were glad that Cynthia has talked and started forgetting what had transpired. "We are done we need to take the tools to the house and eat lunch then we go to the training area," Alpha said. They took the tools to the house Cynthia brought the food they sat outside the house in a shade and ate Ezekiel came towards them. "My sons and daughter thanks for coming you made a wise decision to come to train I know one day we shall overcome the militant though it's not easy one day we shall get a lasting solution," Ezekiel said confidently. They all nodded showing that they are in concurrence. Ezekiel sat as they eat "I think this is a moment for us to come up with a military that will guard our village I know it's not easy but we are going to do our best" Alpha said. They were done eating Alpha went to the maize store and removed the ammunition for training and he led them to the jungle to train one another Cynthia was happy to know that she was going to learn how to shoot and fight. Alpha led them into the ridge which was surrounded by huge rocks which had a perfect target to shoot. "Why here why not an open area?" Jack asked. For safety reasons stray bullets cannot cause harm to anyone if by chance someone came or a passerby the rocks will act as a shield" Alpha said. Steve created a shooting place and a mark on the rocks to act as a target to shoot he removed the guns and pistols and loaded them with bullets. "Attention!" Alpha said. They all became attentive as Alpha instruct them how to prepare the guns and the pistol to shoot. "What you are supposed to do is to load your weapons facing up for safety reasons invade the weapons released a stray bullet you and people around you will be safe" Alpha said. Alpha pointed at the target and shoot Cynthia fell and lay down because of the g*n sound, They all laughed. "You need to get used to the g*n sound also you need to be courageous to shoot the g*n sound is threatening," Alpha said. "Everyone take your guns and load as I did" Alpha shouted. They all held their guns and tried to lead others were not able Steve quickly assisted the to load. "Take your position on the white mark on the ground" Alpha instructed. They quickly took their position. "Point at your target in front of you," Alpha said. They pointed the target "Hold your trigger ready to shoot!" Alpha shouted. They held the trigger ready to shoot. "Pull the trigger to shoot!" Alpha ordered. They shot but most of them missed the target some did not manage to release the bullets Steve laughed at them. "It is a good trail that is a good start," Alpha said "I see you can be good students but we have to learn fast we don't have time to east the militant will not give us time to train we must be first" Steve said. Alpha went in front of them and demonstrated how to load the g*n Cynthia and his colleagues followed carefully after he was done demonstrating he gave back the g*n to Jack. "Are you ready?" Alpha asked. "Yes we are ready" the trainees responded. "Load your weapons" Alpha instructed. They loaded their weapons well as instructed Alpha was happy to realized that they have understood, Alpha moved aside for them to shoot. "Are you ready pull the trigger!" Alpha shouted. They shot the target and they all hit the target. "Perfect!" Alpha shouted. "Repeat to shoot" Alpha said again. They shot the target and most of them hit the target. "Perfect" Steve said happily "I am happy how fast you have learned how to shoot I am glad that you are good students" Alpha said. I was approaching evening they were done for the training for the day they assembled the weapons. "We are done for today since we've learn something let's call it a day lets go back to the village but tomorrow we need to come Herr early enough to train" Alpha said. They went back to the village with the hope of one day getting the last solution on how to deal with the militant. The night was approaching the children were singing and dancing so to the birds in the jungle the women fetched water from the stream the smoke hovered meaning that the evening meals were being prepared, Cynthia was very tired her mother served her food she ate and slept beside the fire place, Alpha Steve Dave and Jack were in their houses they ate they made sure that they slept with the weapons beside them. At three am the militant invaded the village Alpha heard the gunshot. "Wake up we are being attacked!" Alpha shouted. Steve Jack and Dave held their guns they heard scream Alpha knew that was Cynthia's voice they rushed but already the militant took Cynthia on the horse back and unfortunately they both Cynthia's parents were killed, they run after the militant but it was too late they only heard Cynthia screaming as the militant disappeared into the jungle.
