When I woke up, Alex was long gone, judging by how cold the sheets were on his side.
Luckily, I didn't have to make breakfast for Renee since she was at Liam's place, so I took a much-needed long shower.
I was surprised to find Lara and Summer downstairs when I went down to make myself something to eat.
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked them because we hadn't really had time to hang out because of the constant drama in our lives.
"You should really work on connecting with your wolf and smelling your surroundings, girl, because an intruder will catch you off guard." Summer looked at me like I had two heads. She's right though. I tend to block my wolf out a lot because I'm not used to her constant hovering.
