Emilia's Pov
My mind felt like a warzone when l woke up. l was bombarded with memories and thoughts that weren't even mine.
"Take it easy, baby." A familiar voice said softly, but l held my head in agony. Since l was basically human, my brain was having a hard time taking this information.
"Just breathe and try to clear your mind. I'll try to clear my thoughts." He said, and l followed his advice. After a minute or so, l felt like me, and the invading thoughts sort of cooled down.
"This is too much." l mumbled trying to massage my head, but Alex pulled my head onto his lap and started giving me a head massage.
"l know it feels like an overload of emotions and memories, but you'll adjust soon enough." l turned my head and looked up at him.
