Alex's POV
l felt the presence of something, but before l could react a screeching scream from Emilia had me looking in her direction. The sheer pain in her eyes and the emotions that she felt before she passed out had me worried. Due to the fact that I had marked Emilia, it means that I can feel almost every emotion she feels. She doesn't block me out because considering the fact that her wolf isn't there anymore, l doubt she'll be able to do it.
l coved her out and carried her to the house. l wasn't worried about whoever was looking at us because if that person had been a threat, then they would have attacked while l was distracted.
The mark was most likely the reason why Emilia fainted. It must have taken a toll on her. I wasn't really prepared on marking her today though. My primal
