Alpha King Kyaria (The Demon king)

The council of elders arrived at the Royal pack early in the morning. They numbered ten, with three female wolves and seven male wolves. They all arrived in a white limousine at the Castle. Ten alphas arrived at the royal pack a few minutes after the council of elders arrived. Caleb, who came with his wife Tania, was one of the Alphas.

"Welcome to the Royal pack," Sally and Icarius said as they greeted the Elders and Alphas. They all gathered in the throne room to await Kyaria, who was nowhere to be found. They were all on their feet as they waited for their Alpha king, who had yet to appear.

"It's been thirty minutes and the Alpha king has refused to come to see us. Is there a problem?" The leader of the council of elders, Leader Lee, An old man with a bald head. He was a short, sturdy man with Freckles on his face. He was the second werewolf created after Ria destroyed the first werewolves.

"The king will be here in a minute," Icarius answered.

"It seems the Alpha king is refusing to see us because of our requests." Alpha Caleb, Keisha's father added to what Leader Lee had said.

"I'd like you to repeat that," The door to the throne room swung open as Kyaria entered the meeting room, his chest bared by a black robe that trailed behind him. His dark hair was styled up, revealing his left eye, which had not been seen in years. As he entered the throne room, three guards trailed behind him. "You have something you'll like to say to me!" Kyaria stood in front of Caleb and beckoned for him to proceed with what he had started.

"Your highness," Caleb bowed. "I apologize for my rudeness."

Kyaria smirked and walked away from Caleb to his throne. When he sat down, he closed his eyes and placed a hand on his head. "Go on," He beckoned for Icarius to start the meeting.

"We are all gathered here because the council of elders disagreed with the Alpha king's found mate. Leader lee, the Alpha king will like to know your thoughts on this."

Leader lee bow his head and came forward to face Kyaria whose eyes were closed. "The council of elders disagrees with the Alpha King's mate."

"Why?" Kyaria simply asked with his eyes still closed and his hand placed on his head.

"Because she is an Omega!" Gal, the second leader of the Elders and the first female wolf created after the fall of the wolves answered Kyaria's question. She and Leader lee were the first-ever mates created by the moon goddess following the ruins of the Wolves. Unlike Lee, Gal was a tall wolf at 5'9. Her long grey braided hair reached her waistline which make her stand out among other wolves. Her hair was a gift from the moon goddess for being the first female wolf. Some wolves spread rumors about her hair stating that it gives divine healing to the sick. No one knows the mysteries surrounding her long hair.

"We can't have a weak omega as our Luna Queen. It's will only make us vulnerable to other creatures. A strong Luna Queen is all we want your highness. " Gal declared and everyone in the throne room except Icarius and Kyaria nodded in agreement.

"We can't have an omega as our Luna. Please accept our request, your highness." They all chorused.

Kyaria chuckled with his eyes still closed. He suddenly burst out laughing causing everyone to look at him. "You all are crazy clowns!" He laughed again. "You want me to reject my mate after I have spent all my life searching for her." He scoffed.

"Your highness, we only...." Leader lee tried to argue but stopped talking when Kyaria growled at him.

"You clowns!" Kyaria shouted. "How dare you try to decide for me?" His eyes fluttered opened which caused everyone to stare in awe at his eyes. They glowed colorfully. "I am not going to reject my mate. If you have a problem with it, bring your head as an appease!" Kyaria declared.

"Your highness," Caleb came forward and kneeled with his head bowed to the ground. The rest also do the same and shouted the king's name. "Please accept our request, your highness," they all chorused.

Kyaria rubbed his hand together and stood up from his throne. "Enough!" He shouted. He had grown tired of listening to their fake cries. "One more word from you all and you'll be saying goodbye to your heads." He threatened.

"Your highness!" Leader lee shouted. "We are the council of elders and all we wish for is that you rule us fair and clear."

"Fair and clear you say," Kyaria walked towards Leader Lee and pulled him up from the ground. "I was all alone for Twenty years. I was alone before you came so don't tell me about being fair!" Kyaria shouted and shook Lee vigorously.

"I apologize, your highness," Lee bowed. "I apologize for talking out of boundary "

Kyaria pushed him away and went back to his throne. He crossed his legs and closed his eyes like he always does. "You want me to reject my mate?" He questioned.

Everyone looked at one another and they all went mute, not able to say anything as they tremble in the fear of the Alpha king." Tell me!" Kyaria thundered. "Who do you want as your Queen!"

"Alpha Caleb's daughter. " Gal answered.

Kyaria smirked and nodded in response. "Fine! But that's would only happen if Alpha Caleb handed over his pack to me!" Kyaria announced his request.

The wolves all murmured amongst themselves as they were shocked that their King would make such outrageous demand. "Your highness, that's is a huge request," Caleb pointed out.

"As if I don't know," Kyaria laughed wickedly. "I want your pack. Renounced yourself as the Alpha of your pack and I'll do your wish."

"Permit me to say this your highness," Tania, Caleb's mate requested.

"Go on, Luna Tania."

Tania cleared her throat and adjusted her dress. "Alpha Caleb can't renounce his duty as he was born as an alpha. Renouncing his pack is an outrageous demand, your highness."

Kyaria found Tania's voice annoying but he didn't say anything but only smile at her audacity and boldness. "Birds of the same feathers flock together," Kyaria commented. "Here is my decision!" Kyaria opened his eyes and adjusted himself on his throne. "I will not reject my mate because of you all but she would not be my queen but my Royal mistress. I will announce Alpha's Caleb's daughter as my Queen to the whole world if Alpha Caleb meets my demands. Meeting dismissed." Kyaria rose from his throne and walked out of the throne room with Icarius and his guards trailing behind him.

As soon as he left, The alphas and the council of elders all gathered around and started their meeting. "What should we do about the king? He isn't the one to make a demand and not get it " leader Lee said to all of them. "We need to make a decision. I refuse to accept an Omega as my Luna Queen."

"Same here," they all joined Leader lee in his decision.

"What have you decided Alpha Caleb?" Gal questioned.

Caleb looked at Gal and smiled. Deep down, he was hurt and furious. How dare the king made a demand on the pack he had been Ruling for years? If he rejects the King's offer, it'll lead to the end of his goals, and his daughter would be heartbroken. The only way he could go after the throne was through his daughter and he was ready to throw away his pack just to have the throne to himself. "I accept the king 's decision!" He declared.

Everyone gasped at Caleb's decision. They were all shocked that he could easily agree to the King's request. "What are you saying?" Tania demanded.

Caleb balled his hand into a fist and smiled at his mate." This is for our daughter's happiness."

"You are a great man Alpha Caleb." Leader lee commented and patted Caleb on his back. "Now that you have made a decision, the king would be glad to hear. "

" yes," Caleb Smiled but it was all fake as his hand was clenched beside him.

"This is all because of you!" Keisha slapped Teresa's face for the fifth time after hearing that her father was stepping down from his Alpha's position.

Her mother had informed her of her father's decision after the meeting ended with the Alpha king. The news got Keisha mad and she punished Teresa for being the one behind it. "If only you haven't come along then my father wouldn't lose his respect like this. You caused this and I am going to make sure you suffer for this!" It's was a deadly promise and when Keisha promised to do something, she never back out.

" The king had agreed to your Coronation," Her father bought the good news a few minutes after she heard the bad news from her mother. The news bought a smile to her face.

"That's so great," Keisha hugged her parent. "I am going to be Luna Queen," she squealed realizing that her long-term dream was coming to pass. "Will you be okay? " She asked her father. "You've been an Alpha even before I was born."

Caleb pinched his daughter's cheek and smiled at her. "I'll do anything for you. " Those were the lies Caleb used to cover up his ambitions. "I'll be happy if you are happy." Another lie.

"She is still his mate," Tania pointed to Teresa who was kneeling at the front of Keisha. "He had declared her as his Royal mistress. Do you think he would reject his mate to be with you?"

Keisha chuckled and kicked Teresa to the ground with her legs. "She would be a mistress forever. As long as I am Queen, I'll make sure she never wished to be born." Keisha smiled as she thought of her plans once she becomes the Queen. "Just you wait mother, once I am queen. I'll make sure father gets back his position. " Keisha promised.

"That's my daughter." Caleb was happy that his daughter was on the same boat as himself but he wanted her to be more ambitious than just being Queen. Once Tania becomes Queen, he would have a chance in the castle.

Teresa on the other hand was sad about the news. If only she could have a normal mate, not a powerful king who had cast her aside and given someone else her position. If only the moon goddess could change her fate and she could be reborn as a powerful Alpha daughter just like Keisha.
