CHAPTER 7

I hadn't been downstairs ever since the afternoon. I was stuck in my room eating snacks and watching Netflix on my system. It was 8.30 PM when my tummy began to growl loudly. I decided to go downstairs to warm up the stew mom had left in the fridge while I made white pasta but Drake was there making pasta already. “Do you love being around the kitchen?” I asked, making him chuckle. “I noticed you haven't come downstairs, I was planning on bringing these to your room,” he muttered. “You don't need to come to my room when not invited, I love my privacy,” I muttered calmly, not wanting to sound rude. “Alright, jotted,” he muttered while steering the food. “Can I ask you something?” I said, picking out the minced meat to make meatballs. “Yes,” he said, chopping some scent leaves. “Do you kind of stay with your grandma?” I asked. “No, but for the time being, yes,” he said, making me nod. I had more questions to ask but I felt like it wasn't my call to ask about his personal life. “My mom has a store and my dad works in the hospital as a doctor,” he muttered, making me amazed. “Your parents must have their life worked on?” I said, he didn't reply but chuckled. “What about your parents?” he asked as I poured some ingredients into the minced meat. “Well, both my parents are business-oriented, they built up their company from scratch together,” I said with a proud smile. “Wow, that huge,” he muttered as I put on a white leather to roll the meatballs into balls. ************************ “What do you want to do after eating?” he asked. “I don't feel like doing anything rather than going up to my room to sleep,” I let out, not wanting to be too attached to him. “Come On don't be a killjoy, we can play games or do something fun,” he said. “I don't think that is a good idea,” I said. “It would be a simple game,” he said. “What about we pick between thirty seconds or dice roll?” he said, making me chuckle for the first time. “Drake, I sincerely don't know where you are driving at, but I don't think it's a good idea, those are games for couples and we aren't any of that,” I said chewing on my meatballs. “Thirty seconds and dice roll are games played in college with my friends,” he muttered, making me roll my eyes. His phone began to beep, he picked it up. “No, I can't come,” I heard him say. “Are you missing our usual fun?” I heard his friend say. “I can't, I have this babysitting duty to do,” he let out before hanging up. The thought of having him stuck here with me and not going to his friends made me change my mind. “What about we go hang out with your friends rather than suck up at home all night?” I muttered, but he declined. “Why? You are ashamed that they would find out that I’m just a high school graduate?” I said, but he giggled. “My friends could be a little extra and the outing is strictly 18+, Molly,” he said, and I hated the fact that he saw me as a teenager. “They won't find out, trust me,” I said, he stared at me for a while before nodding. “Alright, we can go,” he said, making me stand up to do the happy dance. We got to the house of Drake's friends and my eyes were in amazement. It was a party filled with college students that seemed outgoing and full of smiles. “Are you sure you will be fine, we can head back?” he asked, but I wiggled my head. I turned around to notice a few couples here and there making out. “I thought you guys were having a little hangout?” I asked. “Yup, this is what the hangout always looked like,” he said. For some happy reason, I couldn't wait to go to college. As we walked into the party, a few girls kept hugging Drake! Some ended up giving him a seductive wink. “You seem like one of the popular bad boys from the cliche novels,” I said, causing him to chuckle. We finally got to his friends and just as Drake had said, they were busy playing the game of dice roll. “You made it,” one of the dark-skinned guys with neatly dyed brown hair and an earring on both ears muttered. The rest kept cheering for him to join in the fun. Drake sat down and motioned for me to sit next to him, but that girl who he had made out with outside my house ended up being the one who sat next to him. He gave me a small smile before patting the other side for me to sit. “Guys, my friend Molly,” he let out, and I was glad he didn't introduce me to them as the girl he was babysitting for three weeks. That would be totally embarrassing. They all waved at me as the game began. I already knew how to play the game, so there wasn't much explanation that needed to be done, After playing the game for a few minutes, I understood that the dice roll was way different than the one I played in high school. The dice that were being thrown had kinky things written in them for each person to try against every number that you roll, you may be asked to lap dance, kiss some random person, twerk, go naked, and do all types of naughty stuff. The game rules were that you Can't back down or end the game until everyone agrees to opt-out. And if the same number keeps coming up, you still repeat the same request, they assume it is fate. I knew Drake's attention was fully on me the minute the ball was in front of me to roll. I picked it up before rolling it, I watched as the ball kept rolling until it came to a halt. “You picked a number 4,” someone said. “What does it say?” I asked, hoping it was something I could do. “It says to try to get anybody in the room aroused without touching any s****l part, and the whole members has to bet on who,” he read, and my whole body went frozen.
