The next morning Paul had woken up very early and left. He was mad at Tina for how she had behaved the night before. He didn’t want them to get into a fight, so he had chosen to leave at the break of dawn. That was what Tina had thought, or at least what she made herself believe. He didn’t speak a word to Tina or her mom. She didn’t know where he had gone to, and she was starting to get worried.
