CHAPTER 20 – Consequences of insult Emma’s POV Agatha wrapped my ankle with the pulp and it gave me a soothing feeling. The burning sensation from the sprain disappeared with the cold feeling of the pulp. I never wanted to become the root of any argument between Lady Hildry and the prince. She was his mistress and I was just his maid. I had already made it clear in my mind. The prince was treating me as such because of the vow my father took from him. “Can you walk now, Emma?” Agatha asked me. “I will try Agatha, but I need your help.” She nodded and with her help, I stood up. “Do not put your weight on the leg,” Agatha suggested. She put her right arm under my hands and I put my left arm around her neck so that I could walk easier. I exited the tent by limping with Agatha’s help
