I went to discuss with the owner of the house. He knew us well because every time we travel to the Boltree castle we would stay the night in his house since it was the mid-point of the journey. He treated us well and I gave him some coins in return. He had a wife and two kids aged 12 and 10.
Worried about Emma, I asked Sir Barren to help her get down from the horse. I knew that she didn’t like me being too concerned about her.
