Anthony's Pov:
I laid there on the bed in the nurse's office. The subsided when I was done, but when I tried to get up, it felt like my bones wanted to break. Dude slammed into me hard like he just wanted me to quit playing. I groaned as I tried to sit up. Nurse Martinez walked in and laid me back down.
"You can't leave until after the game, Anthony." She told me.
"I can't just lay here." I told her.
"I know, but you know the rules."
A knock came on the door. Martinez left my side and went to open it.
"Hey, is Anthony here?" I heard Madilyn's voice.
"He's in here." Nurse Martinez told her.
I glanced at the curtain that blocked me from seeing out. Madilyn walked in and stood by me.
"Hey." I said to her.
"Hey." She smiled.
"How are you doing?"
"....I'm alright. I can't sit up
