As happy as I was working in the kitchen with my friends, I couldn't help rolling over the dreams I had last night. It took a while to fall asleep, but I finally felt Athena stirring inside me, her comfort wrapping me in a warm embrace as she purred. We didn't exchange words, just spent time comforting each other after a whirlwind of a week. There was so much I still didn't understand, particularly when Stone didn't come through explaining my past.
It ended up not being of consequence in any case because Selene, the Moon Goddess came to visit me in my dreams.
"Hello Brooke, hello Athena. I am Selene, the Moon Goddess, although I suspect you know that already. I can see your great suffering, I can hear your anguish, don't fear my children, I will guide and protect you."
