Chapter Eight
After film club, Grayson left for work again and I settled back at the reference desk. Jeremy did end up with a book.
He grinned happily at me. “Recommended by Luna. She thought I might like it.”
I checked out Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance for him. “It’s a great book. Kind of quirky.”
“Like Luna,” he said approvingly. “She has another one for me after this. House of Leaves.”
“Another very unconventional read.” You could really learn a lot about a person from the books they read. Jeremy didn’t seem nearly as quirky as Luna was, but opposites definitely attracted sometimes.
“I saw I just missed Lars,” Jeremy said. “Was that the film club I’ve been hearing about from Grayson?”
I nodded. “You should give it a go if you enjoy movies. We’ve got a great group.”
