In June, I felt like I was living in the heart of a postcard. The region welcomes the first cicadas, the flowering lavender, and the summer heat. Everything that attracted tourists in droves. The hotel had record occupancy rates. I saw Danielle more often in the hallways of the establishment than in our apartment. We were both overstretched. When we had our first day off together, we decided to make this day more exciting than hanging out in pyjamas in front of the TV.
