“It has always been and will always be you, Amara.”
“W-What? No Damien, don’t force yourself to----“ Damien once again gave her a quick kiss to shut her up. Amara gritted her teeth and squeezed her eyes shut trying to contain her anger.
“Will you stop that?!!!” Amara snarled making both of Damien’s brows rise.
“What?!!!” Damien replied acting innocent. Amara rolled her eyes and turned her body around about to walk away but Damien pulled her back hugging her from behind. Damien rested his chin on top of Amara’s shoulder as he spoke. “The first time I saw you was twelve years ago.”
“I was invited to the castle by your father. He offered me to join the castle guards or to be his daughter’s personal guard.” Amara frowned upon hearing what Damien said for she never knew about such happenings.
“You father toured me around the castle and as we’re on our way to the library, he was filled with pride as he told me that his daughter was studying and learning how to govern the kingdom.”
“But his smile faded when we reached the training grounds. Instead of books and pen, the princess was holding a shield and a sword.” Amara’s frown deepened not knowing what Damien was talking about for she had been doing a lot of trainings back in the castle.
“I saw you again in the neighboring town, near the capital. I knew you could defeat the champion that’s why I bet 50 gold coins for you.” the last part made Amara blink her eyes finally remembering that day.
Amara moved away from Damien turning around to face him. “That was you?”
“So does that mean, when you saw me in Wanda’s inn, you already knew me all along.” Amara concluded.
Their conversation was interrupted with a soft knock on the door.
“Amara? Dinner’s ready.” Rosella called on the other side of the door.
“I-I’ll be there in a second Rosella.” Amara replied with a louder voice for Rosella to hear. Amara listened to Rosella’s fading footsteps before looking at Damien saying, “Dinner’s ready.”
Amara walked past Damien, opening the door. Amara stopped when she felt him not following her. Turning her head, she saw Damien still standing on the same spot with his eyes looking at her with amusement.
Rolling her eyes Amara asked, “Are you not eating?”
“I’ll be right behind you Princess.” Turning her heels Amara left Damien and went on ahead. Damien walked out of Amara’s room and that was when Wilson came out of hiding.
“You? Her soulmate?” Wilson asked not believing what he just heard.
Damien turned his body to face Wilson and replied, “You heard it.”
There was a moment of silence until Damien decided to walk to the other side of their house but as he was about to walk past Wilson, his arm was grabbed. Because Damien was a few inches taller, he looks down on Wilson not showing any emotions.
“You better treat her right Damien or I will not hesitate to take her away from you.” Wilson warned but it didn’t show any effect on Damien.
“Remember what Amara said when she rejected you Wilson. Why don’t you just be a man about it?” Damien slightly pulled his arm away and walked on leaving Wilson.
Reaching the other side of the house, Damien found Amara and the rest of the group having a fun dinner with Richmond as the source of laughter.
“I strongly think it’s true Richmond.” Barbara said in between laughs.
“I think so too.” Amara seconded with small tears on her eyes due to too much laughter.
“And do you know that he tried to make a move on that woman in the pub but ended up with booze all over his face.” Rosella then added which caused Amara and Barbara to burst into laughter. Richmond’s face is almost turning red slowly getting annoyed by the three ladies. Seeing Damien, Richmond’s face lightened up thinking that he finally had someone on his side.
Amara’s smile faded upon seeing Damien. Now that they have finally acknowledged the fact that they were soulmates, she doesn’t know how to act around him anymore. Damien took a seat beside her like usual but being this close to Damien made her feel uneasy until the memory of their kiss flashed through her mind.
Amara slapped herself hard getting everyone’s attention. Rosella stopped midway through eating a slice of her meat when Amara’s actions caught her attention.
“Amara are you okay?” Rosella asked her voice sounded worried. Realizing what she just did, Amara smiled awkwardly and answered, “I’m fine Rosella. I just felt like a mosquito landed on my face.”
Damien chuckled which made Amara glare at him. Amara kicked Damien under the table but he was able to dodge it. Amara ate her dinner with a scowl on her face whilst Damien did nothing but tease her.

The carriage pulled to a stop finally reaching its destination. One of the guards opened the carriage while the other offered his hand to assist the Queen.
“Welcome to Green Village, my Queen.” One of the receiving guards greeted. Arianna ignored the guard and walked straight into the mansion.
“Where is the Garden of Life?” Arianna asked the moment she entered the mansion.
“Greetings, my Queen. If you please follow me, my Queen, I shall take you to the greenhouse.” The captain of the Village led Arianna to the west side of the mansion, until they reach the outside and entered a greenhouse where the production of infants was made. The greenhouse is almost filled with roses both young and halfway bloomed.
Looking at the floating roses above her, Arianna asked. “Why is the production slow?”
“My apologies, my Queen but as we take more seed from a woman, the development of the seed gets slower and so far we observed that the longest time it develops is nine months; just like humans.” the captain answered with his head down.
Arianna’s hands formed into a tight fist as she said through gritted teeth, “Then do something about it. Limit the women with ten seeds then use them to fasten the development.”
“Yes, my Queen. We shall do so.” the captain answered.
“You better.” Arianna turned her heels and left the greenhouse with the captain right behind her.
“Where are the women?” Arianna asked as they walk into the mansion.
“This way, my Queen.” The captain led Arianna to the isolated and very well guarded room in the mansion. As they neared the room, whimpers and screams were already heard.
The guards guarding the door opened it for Arianna and what she saw brought anger in her face.
Turning her head to the Captain, Arianna asked, “Why are they resting? Put a seed in them and produce more babies.”
Arianna turned her heels and walk off. The captain signaled his men to get into the room and as they did, the women backed away from their beds but they can’t do anything. For these men were under the magic of the captain in charge of Green Village; a dark magic that can manipulate any living thing.
“These are the newborn, my Queen.” The captain of the Green Village, Morgan said his hand extending to the room.
“These are not good enough.” Arianna commented showing a dissatisfied look.
“We’ll try and make more my Queen.” The captain replied bowing his head.
“Just do it.” Arianna turned her heels and left the room. She walked out of the mansion and the moment she reached the gate she noticed something.
Looking down, she saw a severed chain and right then she knew.
“She was here.”
