Even if Mahalia didn't fit in with the Zanzibar family. Her pregnancy was the key to Adams' acceptance. “I want you to carve that stone into a pendant and bind it into a necklace made of gold,” Adam instructed the man in front of him.
The man gave a simple nod before leaving. “You promised to give mother’s powerful earrings to Hannah!” Donald uttered the moment the man left.
“I would give it to whoever I want to give it to whomever I want to give it to,” Adam said, at that very moment, Donald couldn't hold himself anymore but voiced out in a high tone.
“Father you cannot do that, I'm the firstborn and the next Alpha king. It's normal to say Hannah deserves the earrings of Luna,” He yelled at the very top of his voice.
“But a real Alpha should give me a grandchild, can you do that?” Adam questioned.
“Your favorite son is quite amazing, right? He had disobeyed all of your instructions and then he brought back a wife that we don't even know. How can you even accept him wholeheartedly? You are even planning on giving them, mother's earrings.” Donald uttered and the unbelievable expression on his face was viable.
“Don't you get me wrong because I'm not accepting his wife? I’m merely following the last request your mother had made, she had wanted our family to be completed again and that's the only thing I can do right now,” Adam said, Donald could feel everything at that moment shift beneath him.
He appeared powerless and weak.
Meanwhile, Mahalia stood in the room that looked pleasant and lovely. The door swung open, showing Loretta who held some clothes. She slowly trudged towards Mahalia with a smile while she kept the same eye contact intact.
“Please pardon the condition of the clothes, I have grown out of them but I hope they fit you!” Lorrette said, handing her the clothes.
“Thank you,” Mahalia responded, flashing her a soft smile.
“You should take a shower and change into them, I will be out!” Loretta urged before walking out of the room.
Loretta walked towards the bar room in the house. She noticed Noah taking some wine, and she chose that opportunity to talk to him.
“You didn't replace me with someone better than me!” Loretta said, taking a seat opposite him.
“I love her!” he simply answered, a bitter giggle escaped her lots at that moment while she picked a transparent wine cup to pour for herself.
“You told me those exact words when we were younger,” She responded while taking a small sip.
“But we are older now, things change over time right?” he exclaimed, A frown instantly displayed itself on her face.
“I haven't changed much but I wish you both a wonderful and happy marriage!” Loretta said, the pain in her voice was constant.
“Thank you,” he responded, not goggling in her direction.

The next day, Noah and Mahalia had left for the house his father had in the south. They held their hands in one another while they trudged inside the huge house that had been guided by a few guards,
“This place is beautiful, Noah, you know what? It honestly seems like we were happier when we were poor and living like other multitudes in the pack. All these riches just seem scary all of a sudden,” Mahalia said as they walked around the house.
“Why are you thinking like that? What did my father tell you?” Noah asked.
????? ????
“?’? ???????? ????????? ???? ??? ??? ????? ?? ???? ????. ????’? ??? ???? ????? ? ??? ??????!” The thought of what his father had said flashed in her head.
Noah slowly wrapped his hands around her waist from behind touching her arms, his body clinging fondly to hers. He was trying to tell her that he was there to hold and protect her. He wanted her to trust him.
“I know that it takes a while for father to warm up to other people. I hope you can be patient with him for now,” Adam said, placing a soft kiss on the crook of her neck.
“I hope so,” she simply uttered.
EIGHT WEEKS LATER
Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Noah had returned to the pack’s company while both Mahalia and himself reside in the south house.
“Father, you called for me?” he asked the minute he walked into his father's office.
“Noah, you know that you have clearly demonstrated how we needed your skills in this company. Our sales figure had gone up! You know what Noah? I’m starting to believe that you coming back is starting to bring me luck.” his father blurted out with a proud smile plastered on his wrinkled face.
“Have a seat,” he said, Noah nodded before taking a seat.
“When your wife finally gives birth, I would like to give this to her!” Adam blurted out, he brought out a grey tiny box before handing it over to Noah.
Noah seemed to hesitate a bit before collecting the tiny box from his father's grip. He stared at his father before slowly pulling the box to notice Luna's powerful necklace.
“And there is another, this is a pendant that you would put on my grandchild. It's the most powerful one that can protect and work when combined together. It can glow and shine in darkness while it's summer's inner power. You and your wife would be able to rule the blood moon pack and continue the lineage.” his father told him,
They seemed engrossed in their conversation with no idea that Loretta was hidden at the back door listening to everything they had talked about.
Later that day, Noah had gone back home with a huge smile displaying on each side of his lips. He walked towards the lounge to notice Mahalia. Her Tommy had grown to the size of a lemon already, and she looked very tired.
“Lia, you are still outside at night. I’m starting to feel bad for Jane because I keep scolding her when you are not inside the house at night,” Noah voiced.
“Common Noah, the reason why I'm not inside is that when you are not at home. I feel lonely but here makes me happy, the beautiful creatures and the huge shore here make everything perfect!” she responded.
“I hope you also understand me as well, I don't want you to get hurt because it can be dangerous here for you. We don't know what kind of creatures or wolves that go around, I know that things are private here and there are guards around but we can't be a hundred percent sure of your safety.” Noah tried to explain his point.
“I’m fine, trust me!” she said calmly, Noah slowly took her hands into his before speaking.
“But you know that father has given me the job of taking care of the new business, I want to protect you but I want you to protect yourself too. I can't afford to lose you!” he said, placing a soft kiss on her tender lips.
“I heard that you are feeling sick again?” Noah asked, placing another kiss on her hands.
“Uhmm, what they are making me drink is so potent, and it honestly feels like it's causing me more harm than good!” she told him.
“I think it's probably better if you stop drinking what they give you then!” Noah suggested but she wiggled her head to indicate no.
“How can I do that? What about your father? He might get infuriated when he finds out.” She voiced out a little bit of trembling on her lips.
“I doubt it, he wouldn't be angry at you and do you know why?” Noah asked, She slowly wiggled her head to indicate “No” again.
Noah flashed her a smile before taking out the maroon pendant. “Do you see this? Do you know exactly what it means?” he asked and she shook her head while gaping at the pendant in amazement.
“This is a powerful pendant which is rare and only the blood moon pack has the unblemished one, my father allowed my mother to wear this as a symbol of his love for her and he wants to give it to you now because he has finally accepted you into our family,” Noah said with a smile, he pulled open the hook of the pendant before putting it around her neck.
“Do you know what this is? This necklace represents a lot of things and it means that the people have accepted you as their Luna. You and our child would continue the family legacy!” Noah said, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.
