CHAPTER 3: Chain of Fate

Luna

I woke up by the sound of an alarm, I know that it is not mine so I was currently thinking back on what happened last night- as while my eyes still firmly shut. I do not want to create any more troubles today aside from what I have done. I slowly opened my eyes as I let out a deep sigh of relief upon seeing that I am the only one in this bed lying under this thick duvet. I bit my lower lip as I peek under these fabrics, I am really all naked without any doubt. I got up as I covered my upper body, looked around as I just finally saw the whole place in a much lighter venue. I stood up while still having the duvet on and picking up my clothes all over the room. I see a shirt on the floor as without any second thought, I pick it up and wear it first.

I put on my panties, and walked stealthily while holding my dress and heels on one side of my hand. I slowly opened the door while peeking on each side, I still have not yet seen him- well, that is okay with me.

I put my heels on as I went out of the room quickly, got in the elevator and reached the basement parking without any hitch. I opened my bag as I pulled out my car key, I got in and quickly drove off away from that freaking hotel.

Today is a weekday and therefore I need to go to work. I am not as rich as Karina so I got to work my ass off if I cannot bait a rich and handsome-looking guy anywhere when I can. I quickly got into the shower and without much effort, I went out and pulled out some office wear- I have to be quick or I will be late.

After an hour, I am now at the building and walking in the hallway while holding my cup of coffee from the Moonbucks. I smiled at each person I was seeing and finally arrived at my office. I put down the cup as I hung off my thick coat, sat on my seat and opened my laptop. Currently I am a manager at a fashion department store and the most famous place in the city. From my seat, I can see the view of the streets where the people and cars meet, just some pedestrians who were getting busy in the early time of the day.

“Hi Ms. Luna, you have a meeting at 9 and a visitation at 1. Do you have anything to add?” my assistant told me as soon as she entered my office after knocking.

“Nah, maybe it would be better if I get the report right now for me to review.” I answered and gave her a thrift smile.

“Oh, right, I should give it to you, ma’am.” she exclaimed as she immediately went out of the room. I chuckled as I shook my head in disbelief. That girl, she is really a clumsy one.

I checked my emails as I saw that there was a spam message, I clicked it but before I read the email, my assistant went in and gave me the documents.

“These are the documents related to the new investment. We will have a meeting with them in 15 minutes.” She said as I only nodded while scanning the papers.

“Ma’am, I think they have arrived.” she said as I looked on my laptop screen, maybe I can read this later on. I put it down as I stood up. I let my secretary hold my things as I made my way to the conference room.

I entered the room as I scanned every person sitting in this place. I smiled as I sat on the middle one of the table and the lights went dim, they will be having the presentation immediately.

“Wait, can we have an introduction first before starting?” I asked as they all looked at me.

“I guess you have not seen my email.” a person said and his voice was a very familiar sound to me. He looked back as he showed his huge grin on his face- it was Jacob.

He stood up as he sat near me, while still smiling from ear to ear. Is he crazy? Am I crazy knowing that he already found out that I am not Karina after all.

“What email?” I asked as I tried to sound firm and unfamiliar with him.

“I sent my introductory email for me and my team so that we would not waste any more time. Seems like you are not serious on this deal, Ms. Luna.” he said while emphasizing my name.

“Sorry, I got many things to do, maybe I missed it out.” I simply said as I nodded to the presenter to start the meeting.

“Really? What did you do last night?” he whispered to me while the meeting started.

“Just some things you do not have to concern yourself in.” I answered as I tried not to show any emotion on my face. Ugh, why does he have to be that investor, I need to close the deal or else there would be issues in the production.

“Why did you leave without saying anything? Also, you took my shirt, huh.” he added and that made me look at him immediately.

“What?!” I exclaimed as I noticed that all stopped for a moment.

“Are there any issues, ma’am?” the presenter asked as I clears my throat and shook my head.

“No, please continue.” I said.

“Shut up, also, I did not see your name on the documents. How come you are here?” I said to him and he chuckled softly.

“That is why I said I emailed you, right? My name is Jansen Coby, Jacob for short.” he answered and he really sounded like he was teasing me.

“I missed you already.” he said and I was a bit choked, so I grabbed my coffee and sipped some of it.

I felt something was brushing off my legs and when I peeked down, it was his leg moving up and down slowly but enough to give me shivers. He moved his chair nearer to me as he held on my thighs. s**t, I am wearing a skirt and his hands can easily make contact on my skin.

“Do you have any questions, ma’am?” I stopped as I looked at the presenter.

“Huh? None from my side. Are you finished now?” I asked her and she nodded. That is the time I looked at the papers as I did not hear any word she said because of this p*****t.

“Well, everything looked good on me. Do any of you want anything?” I asked as I moaned a bit when he finally slid his finger at my center but yet still covered by my panties.

“Ma’am?” My secretary said as I smiled awkwardly.

“Sorry, just a hiccup. So, are we now done?” I asked as I really wanted to end this meeting. I do not care if it may look rude but this man is making my insides insane.

“I heard your explanation so I will just send my confirmation through email. Thank you.” I immediately said as I stood up putting his hand away on me.

“Clair, please give me the minutes today.” I said to her as I walked away.

I walked out of the meeting room without looking back. I entered my room but before I could even close the door, it opened as I saw Jacob come into my room.

“Hey!” I exclaimed as he locked it behind him while his eyes were inviting for me something that I cannot reject.

“You have to leave.” I said as I stepped backwards, he was walking towards me and I am not sure why I am a bit scared of him.

“No, I need to hear the confirmation now. The headquarters is waiting for it.” he answered me as I tripped by the couch, and that made me sat on it.

He leaned down as he put his hand on the backrest of the couch.

“Kiss me.” he said and he sounded like he was demanding.

“No, we are at my office.” I answered as I tried to push him away.

“It was locked. Or let me do it for you.” he said as he kissed me hard, much rougher than last night. I was trying to get away from him but he pinned my wrists down and caressed my breasts.

“Jacob!” I yelled as he pulled away from me.

“I want you. I want you, Luna.” he said as I saw on his face that he was not looking at me like I was Karina last night. He looks at me like he knows Luna very well- like he really loves me.

Without second thought, I embraced my hands around him as I kissed him this time. I gathered my force as I stood up and put him down on the couch instead. I sat on his lap as my legs were opened against him. His hands were roaming around my body like it now became a familiar traveler on the same road last night.

I take off his shirt as he is now unbuttoning my blouse off, throwing it as soon as he gets rid of it. Without any warning, he sucked my nips, it was so good that I was banging my head without any control of it.

He was about to pull down my panties when someone knocked on the door.

“Ma’am? The visitors are about to leave.” It was Clair.

“Y-yeah, just walk them out. I have an emergency,” I answered.

“Are you okay, ma’am? Do you need some help? Why is your door locked?” she asked as I immediately got up and put on my clothes as I saw the doorknob moving like she was pushing to open it up.

“Clair! I am alright, just go. I will talk to you in a bit.” I yelled as I heard nothing but silence.

“Did she leave?” he asked as I quickly covered his mouth.

“Are you with someone?” she asked as I knew that she was not yet leaving.

“I am on my phone. Just go, Clair.” I said as I heard footsteps unsettling away.

“Are we going out?” he asked as I stared at him for a bit and smiled.

“Do you want to go out with me?” I asked as I looked a bit taken aback.
