Alora’s POV

I stayed up all night on the phone with my best friend Jones. We had the weirdest conversation of all time, Jones is a wolf wolf, he left the pack when he was fourteen, he became a rogue but he still was my best friend.

After hours of talking he began to feel dizzy, I left my phone on with him still staring at my sleepy face.

“Alora!!.” He called but I was too lazy to reply.

My eyes were closing and I couldn’t help but sleep at once.

Even after sleeping late my alarm still had the nerves to ring. I yawaned and rolled out of bed. My mum had noticed my subconscious habit of rolling off the bed whenever my alarm rang so she laid extra pillows on the ground for me!.

I laid on the pillows and continued sleeping.

“Alora!!, you’re gonna miss your big day!!.” My mum yelled.

Yeah!, big day!!, once again my family and I. My mum and her aghhh!, husband!.

Moved to a new city and I had to change schools!!, again!. I am getting annoyed!, my mum is literally obsessed with hiding me!, well I can’t blame her!.

I mistakenly lost my temper and transformed into a wolf in front of my classmate, she’s now traumatized and locked up in a mental institution!. I kinda feel bad for her but I am sure she will be fine soon……. I guess!.

I held on to my bed frame and pulled it to get on my feet, I heard a cracking sound, I paused and looked around to find no one or anything. I went on, I got on my feet and walked towards my bathroom.

I heard the same cracking sound and then I turned around to see my bed flat on the ground with dust and debris,the sound was so loud.. so I think!. I watched my mother and my step dad run up to my room.

My mom placed her hands over her mouth while I stared at them and then the bed with shock.

“What did you do?!.” My step dad asked.

“Nothing!!. I didn’t do anything!!.” I said with my hands in the air trying enfarcise what I was saying and as well prove my innocence.

“Then explain this?!!!.” My mum yelled.

Tears ran down my eyes when I heard such a tone from her, I moved back and stumbled, in the process my side table and reading lamp tipped over

“Stop!!.” My step dad said as I looked up at him. “Both if you stop!.” He instructed.

He walked close to me, then knelt right in front of me. He pinched my cheek playfully and then tickled me. I pushed his hands away trying to stop him while laughing.

“Be careful okay?!.” He said with a smile. I nodded at him and he tickled me again.

He turned to my mom and smiled at her. “She’s growing!.”

“What?!.” My mum asked.

She’s the only confused person even I saw confused, my growth has to do with breaking things?!, makes no sense!!. But let’s see where he is heading to with this.

“Transform!.” He told me.

“No!!, you can’t encourage her!!.” My mum yelled at him.

My mum wasn’t a fan of my wolf form. She was scared I could hurt myself but maybe she isn’t wrong!!, all my wolf had done was put me in danger and a whole lot of other things that even I don’t understand.

“You should know I will never let her do anything that’s going to hurt her!!.” He told my mum.

“Fine!!, honey go on!.” My mom said,

I took a step back trying to control myself before I transformed into a wild beast that has a mind of its own.

A beast leaped out of me, I stood on four legs, I stared at my mom and stepdad.

I saw my mom move back in shock and a smile was on my stepdads face.

“She’s fine!!.” He said.

“She’s getting bigger!!.” My mum yelled.

I growled trying to talk to them.

“She’s going wild!!.” I heard my mum say and then she began to walk backwards in fear.

I transformed back and ran towards her trying to calm her down.

“You’re staying home today!!, I will call your dad and…”

“You can’t just lock her up!!.” My step dad said. “She needs to learn how to control her powers and the most important her strength!!.”

“Mum!!, please this is my first day!, I would get to meet freshmen today so I could easily mingle!!.” I tried to make her understand.

“No!!, you are staying home!!. Tomorrow your dad said he was gonna come take you to his pack!!.” She said and walked out with a worried look on her face.

My step dad followed behind her, I sat on my bed staring at the wood that was once holding it up.

I know what it's like to stay home on the first day!, at my last school I did the same thing. I was too angry to attend lectures and the next day when I went I was the newest kid in school, the other new kids already made friends while I hadn’t!.

I picked up my phone and turned it on, I texted Jones and then dropped my phone on the bed, then it occurred to me I picked up my phone again and then checked the time, i ran into the bathroom, I had my bath. And ran back out, I opened my wardrobe to find my new school uniform. I sighed and frowned.

This was the first school I had to wear a uniform. Well every country has their own rules and styles. Well it is that bad.

“It definitely is!!.” I thought out loud.

I transformed into my wolf form, with me as a gold Lycan I could easily jump out of my room window, I might get hurt a little but not like I would with two legs. Plus my uniform will stay intact.

I jumped out the window and just like I predicted I didn’t get hurt but I felt a slight sting and as well I was scared of breaking a bone or two!, or even worse get caught by my parents!!, I wasn’t bothered about the neighbors!.

They wouldn’t see me except they were supernatural creatures or blessed like my mum.

I horrible off to school, with four legs I was very fast and made it in time before the morning assembly.

“Wow, how did you do that?!.”

Alora turned around to find a girl who was a few inches taller than her, she was bright with a huge smile on her shocked face. Alora ignored her and ran along. She kept trying to out run her but he seemed on her back.

Alora ran with her eyes on the girl behind her, she ran into a brick wall and lost her balance. She rubbed her head gently and then raised her head to see who it was.

“Are you okay?!.” The girl she ran into asked and stretched her hand, Alora held her helping hand and got back on her feet.

She nodded at the girl's question then turned around to see the girl she was running from a few inches away from her.

“You’re blinding!.” The girl said with worry.

Alora tilted her head, her head was wiped harshly all of a sudden.

“I am sorry!, my sister’s water bottle broke!!, I am sure the silver edges must have torn up your skin!.” He said to Alora who placed her hand over where he touched.

She rubbed on her open wound, she stared at the blood on her palm.

“Are you okay?!.” He asked her.

Tears wailed eyes, she rushed out of the sight of the crowd that was staring at her.

After asking for a description from a couple of students she was able to find the bathroom, Alora walked into the bathroom and one of the small cubicles, Alora sat in there wondering what was going on.

“Hey?!.” Alora heard outside the door of the cubicle she was in.

She cleaned her head and flushed the toilet like she was using it. She walked out only to see the girl who had been following her.

“What do you want from me?!!.” Alora yelled at her.

The girl took a step back. A tear rolled down her eyes due to how harsh Alora was.

“Emm…, I just wanted to be friends…” she murmured.

Alora’s gold eyes turned brown when she realized her tone and manner of speech. She tried to approach the girl but she took a step back.

“I shouldn’t be in school today!.” Alora told the girl.

“Why?!.” She asked and walked closer. She bit her upper lips and walked closer to Alora like she was a bit scared. “You can change your eye color!!.”

“Emmm…” Alora stammered trying to find the words to lie about to the girl. “Yes!!, I have a weird illness!!, I forgot to take my prescription!!.”
