Training/lunch date

The next day Anastasia woke up took a cool shower to wake up then put on a push up sports bra and leggings. Then she brushed her hair into a tight bun and put on her joggers. Once she was done, she left her room and went down to the kitchen to get some food. Adam, Oliver and Phillips was in there talking about their up coming trip to the dragon castle to see the queen, Phillips mother. "When are y'all going?" She had asked them. "Maybe this weekend. She said she needed to see me asap." Phillips said. "Oh, did she say why?" She asked. "No, she sent a messenger Dragonnet here this morning. Saying; "need to meet asap within the next few days." Just hope all is good." Phillips said. "Yeah." She agreed with him. "Do you care if I come along. I haven't seen the queen in a long time." "No, she would love to see you again." "If she goes, have Charles go with you." Oliver said. "Okay, that makes sense since you guys can't fly there." Phillips chuckled. "Well, I'm gonna hurry up and eat then head off to training. Are y'all joining?" Anastasia asked. "Frank and William is gonna train you today. Oliver and I have to head into town today." Adam said. "Phillips and Charles are gonna show your mate around this morning while your busy." "I could do that." "No, the kings orders. He just wants you to do your training without him around." Oliver said. "Fine." Anastasia said then made her a plate. After she had ate, she went out towards the field where Frank and William were at. A few others were there training as well. But when I came along, everyone had stop for a moment until I had waved them off. I moved into my stance and faced Frank. This was gonna be a little fun. As I stood there, I watched him look me over before taking a move. As he took the first move, I had blocked him with both my arms before pushing him away. Then I went to hit him with a few moves myself. Out of all the moves I did, I hit him a few times. As I went to hit him again, he caught my arm and tossed me like a rag doll. Curse the vampire strength. I kicked up and charged after him as he wasn't looking and right when I went to tackle him down he moved to the side and used that to take me down. I missed from the impact. I knew I was gonna burse from that. By the time training was almost up, both Frank and I were wore out. William taken a few tries with me. But all we did was match each other. I knew his moves and he knew mine. It wasn't really fair for us since were damn near the same. And he trained me in half the moves that I knew. By then the head trainer had blown his whistle and everyone had stopped. They went either back to the castle or their homes on the land. The wolves and bears went to the pack house, that was there's since they were the only animal shifters. The dragons that we have goes to their little cove that they have just under the water falls down from the castle. And the elves and witches and what fairies went to the castle. "Ugh, I'm wore out." William had said. "How, you barely did anything." Both Frank and Anastasia said at the same time. Then laughed. "Working with the princess is killer." William said smirking. "Please. You didn't even get full effort of me." Anastasia told him. "What? I didn't, man I was doing everything on half way. I wasn't even on full just to get you." William said. "Your just a elf." Frank said then pushed him. "Its quarter after 10, I have to go take another shower and get ready for my lunch date." Ana said then walking a little faster. "Where y'all going?" Frank asked. "I don't no for sure." She had yelled back behind her shoulder as she entered the castle. When she enter, her parents were in the kitchen talking about their upcoming trip to Africa. 'Why is taking a trip lately?' The fairy had thought to herself. She smiled at them and walked out of the kitchen. As she went to the stairs, she had stopped and listened to what they were saying. "Dear, this trip will help us and them become allies. And plus, there's a friend of my grandmothers there that helps runs the pack." The queen had said. "I get that, but why is?" The king had said. "Because the friend called in a favor from my grandmother. She saved his life once or twice when she was queen." "Ah, I see. But thought she didn't like the shifters back then?" "She didn't but she's not gonna let someone get hurt either. She was on a business trip when the fella got attacked by a vampire. She saved his life so he owed her one now he's calling that favor in." "I believe we should take Anastasia with us. It would be good for her to get out and about. Learn more about the world." Geralt had said. Ciri nodded her head. "Yes, it would be good for her, but do you think that's a good thing? Since she just got her mate?" "He can stay here and help watch over the place with your mother. We have the best people here to keep an eye out." "Okay, I'll talk to her later tonight." "When do we leave?" "He asked for us to come within the next week." The queen had said. When Anastasia heard her say that, she was kinda excited because she never gets out of the land half the time. It will be great for her. As she runs up the stairs, she goes into room and takes her shower. As she's in there, she thinks about her date with her mate. Wonders what they're gonna go or do. As the water was starting to get cold, she had got out and wrapped a towel around her body and hair. Then she went to her closet to find a nice outfit. She found her favorite leggings and crop top to match. Then grabbed her hightops to go with. When she was dressed, she done little makeup and hair. Her hair was already gorgeous as it was half curly. Times she hates her curls but to a point she didn't have to work on it much. When she was done, she walked out and went to go find her mate. When she went back down, he was coming in front the front of the castle. "Mate, there you are." He had said. "Yes, here I am." "Is it time for that lunch date?" "Yes, so we can eat here and hang." "Actually no, I've talked to the queen and king and ask if you could leave the land. There's a place in town that is really cheap and nice. I borrowed some money from Phillips since I don't have my stuff since I was chased out of where I was at." "Oh, sure. Umm, let me call my guardians to come." "Actually they're in the car waiting for us." "Which ones." She had asked forgetting which guardian was with him. "The dragon ones. I forget the one dragons name I can only remember Phillips name." "Charles." "Ah, yes. He's weird." "Yes, but if you step on his tail you will regret it." "What?" "Just don't cross him. That's all I'm saying." She told him smiling. He nodded then brought his arm around her waist then towed her to the car. When they got to the car, Phillips was in the driving side as for Charles he was standing outside the car, tossing something in the air. It looked like a small ball but Anastasia was never sure because it was so small and so fast. "Ready M'lady?" Charles asked. "Yes." She excitedly answered. Charles chuckled then open the door for them then closed it and got in the car himself. As they drove through the long driveway, Anastasia was looking around just admiring where she was going until she felt herself going through the shield. She gasped a little feeling the pull. "Mate, are you okay?" Riley asked. "Yes, I've never felt that before." "You've never felt the shield?" "She's never left the land before. So she was feeling the shield leave her body." Charles said. "We all feel it but fairies feel it more than everyone else does. But over time, you get use to it where you don't feel it anymore." Phillips said. "I actually forgot you've never been away from the land. We're gonna have to talk to your parents about you leaving with me and Charles when we go to my mother's castle." "Wait what?" Riley asked. "I'm going with them to see the dragon queen. I haven't seen her since I was a little girl when she came to our castle to send off Phillips to us. So I wanted to see her again. And as the princess, its my duty to see other allies to keep that up and going. Just like the castle up on top of the mountain up there," Anastasia pointed out. "That's the vampire castle. Its right off our land, my mother, the queen visits them once every so often." "Wait then what's that castle that's off to the right of your castle?" "That's where the vampires that live with us stay. The ones that are good and drink from animals or even blood bags. That's where most of our warriors come from." "I thought your warriors were all kinds." Riley said. "Oh they are." Anastasia said. "But we only use them for missions and battles. They help in any way." Charles said. "Why do you think Frank is the best and top guardian. He's dangerous, a born killer. And he'll do anything for Anastasia or the queen." Phillips said then looked in the rearview mirror. "And just remember that too if you hurt our princess. He'll be the number one person to know it too." "How would be better the 1st to know?" Riley asked. "The shadows." That was all Charles had said. After that talk it went quiet the rest of the ride until they got into town. Even when they were on the short ride on the highway, no word was said. Riley was mostly thinking how that was true. How Frank would know through the shadows, if he was a vampire. Was that his gift or could he blind in with the darkness. He knew that some vampires had gifts but not like the fairies or the elves, or even the witches. But he lost his train of thought when the princess gasped from the sight she was seeing. Seeing her like this, made him smile. He wanted to keep her smiling like this for the rest of their lives. He didn't want to see a ugly frown on her ever. But he knew there were gonna be times when that happens. Just hope its not from him. As they end up pulling up to a nice place, he was surprised the place they were at. It was a place he would never go to because it was high price place. Nor he was dressed for it. But nor was the princess or the guardians. Well they had better clothes on them then he did but still. When they got out of the car, they headed inside the nice place and asked for their seats. When they were to where they were being seated, it was in the back in a booth, by the big bay windows that sees off towards the water. As they sat, the princess was admiring the beauty of everything. It wasn't quite what she expected, it was better. Once they ordered their food and drink, the couple talked a little bit about everything. Even with the guardians there. They ignored them when they could but there was times they would butt in on their conversation. Sometimes is was quite funny when they did. Times it got personal for them that they had to butt in but the or in didn't mind it at all. She was loving every minute of it. It was every woman's dream came true for a date like they were having even though it was their first or they had bodyguards with them but it was perfect. After they were done, the one guard went and paid for their meals as the other one walked a few feet behind the couple talking. They walked the pier that was behind the restaurant and looked out towards the water. The princess was really enjoying her date. She acted like a regular human being not no supernatural one either. Right at that spot she forgot she had powers, she forgot the whole world. That it was just her and Riley in that moment in time. As the guardians was sitting on a bench 10 feet away from them talking among themselves. "I don't know about him." Phillips brought up, staring at the princess and her mate. "Why not. Is it because your in love with her?" Charles asked. "What?! No, its because we don't really know about him." "Is that all? Are you sure its not because you love her." "Charles stop. Your bad as Frank." "But its true though. Am I right?" "Yes, its true. God. I've loved her the moment I laid eyes on her. But I know I can't because of this job." "And be she's not your mate either." "Don't rub it in." Phillips said just as he heard a loud laugh. When he looked away from Charles he saw it was just Anastasia laughing at something Riley had said. They both were laughing but she was laughing the hardest. "Its not that I'm not happy for her, its just that I want what's best for her. Someone to treat her well. That is there for her through everything. Every bad dream, every time of the month and she's craving things. When she hurts herself." "You want that person to be you. I get what you mean. I've wanted that for so long but when I got signed for watching over the princess that point in time I just knew I wasn't gonna have it." "Do you ever think we'll ever get that Charles?" "Maybe, maybe not. Who knows when the time is right and she don't need us anymore. Technically, I'm not her guardian but I am her summons. I go wherever she goes. Even if I'm not by her, all she has to do is call my name and I pop up." Charles said. "I can probably still get a mate but do I really want one, yes. But do I want the responsibility that mate getting jealous of me popping up everywhere and every single time she needs me? No I don't. The princess is more important right now. Maybe when I'm ready to settle down, I'll look for her." "Yeah." Phillips said as he looked down at his watch and saw what time it was. Then his phone dinged. He got his phone out and checked it. It was a message from the king, asking how the date is going. He texted him back telling him its going good then looked back up to make sure that's what he needed to say. But it was so he had hit sent. "Its getting late and I believe the king is getting worried." "He texted you?" "Yep." "Then lets go then. It looks like it's about to rain anyways." Charles had brought up. The guardians got up and walked over to where the couple were at. And cleared their throat to get their attention. When they said its getting late that they needed to leave, the princess nodded and they walked back to the car. During the car ride, the couple talked a little more like they didn't just talk the whole time back at the pier. But the princess was enjoying herself. She didn't want the night to go away. Or go back to the castle where she felt locked up like a prisoner or something. Once they got back, she sighed when she got out the car. But smiled when she saw her parents. She hugged them before walking inside to head up to her room. She wanted to relax and think about how spent her day with her mate. How their date went way better than she thought. She knew it wasn't bad but thought it could've went better with at least a good nights kiss or something. Just as she was taking off her shoes, there was a knock at the door. At first she thought it was her parents or guardians but they would've walked right in after knocking. So the princess got up and walked over to the door and opened it. It was her mate. "Ana, I just want to tell you that I had a great time and that I hope we can do this again. Very soon, at least." "Yeah, sure Riley." She told him. He smiled at her and she was about to close the door until he had stopped it with him foot then leaned toward her to kiss her. She kissed him back and liked how this was going. When he came back for air, he smiled at her then moved a string of her hair behind her ear then kept his hand on her cheek. "Good night my sweet mate. Sweet dreams my love." He said then walked away. When he walked away, she closed then door smiling. She walked over towards her bed and fell on it touching her lips. Thinking how he kissed her, how it felt so good. That she wanted to do it again but couldn't. Just yet at least. Its all about the timing on how everything was gonna go. She was gonna take it slow. Not because she's only 15 but because she wanted to wait til she felt the mate pull when she turned 16. Which was just in a week or two.
