To the Wicked World

For years, decades, centuries, who knows how long but fairies lived as one. They were kind to one another. They didn't bother people or others among them. They made sure that the world was safe and well taken care of. When you think of fairies you think they are fake, myths or mythological magical creatures, which they sorta are to at least non-believers that is. True believers, known for what they are. There's different kinds of them, evil, good, flower kinds, different elemental kinds, you name it. But there's at least one fairy that can control it all. She's nor good or evil but she can be either one of those. She tries to be good at least. She's the fairy queen. As the fairy queen, she has loads of power. She's like the most powerful being in the world other than the great Goddess herself. As time let on, she aged in spirit but in time she didn't. Where humans and some other creatures goes by years fairies goes by decades. Even though to humans decades is 10 years, that's 1 year for them. Fairies usually live on a long time but in over time some of them do get sick and die. Some even get killed by fighting to defend themselves and some just get killed off from very old age from their powers fading over time. But for a certain fairy, she's has lived for years and never lost a fight. Some thing they are weak, small but she is not. Yes, fairies are small but only in their fairy form. They can size up to look like a human, to go into the human world. But some get caught, changing into their forms by the humans and get themselves killed. Over centuries before the fairy queen came along, her parents and grandparents, humans had started hunting down fairies and other creatures. But mostly fairies for their magic. But once the queen was born, things started to change. 5 times former queen, made sure of that. With all of the fairies that they had lost, they used what magic there was and made a force field around the kingdom. To hide them from the outsiders. Fairies needed to stay with the fairies. But over time, 2 queens later, slowly started going out into the world, to see if it was safe and it sorta was, at least for them. They were no longer being hungry since they have his their selves for centuries. Other creatures were being killed off. One day the queen went out to a village in her fairy form just to look around when she saw huge size wolves. But they wasn't just wolves, they were lycans. Most beautiful creature in the land. That is when she felt something crazy from inside of her. She changed into her human form and walked over to the creatures. Some were scared and some were in a combat mode, like they were ready to kill the queen. Until a certain lycan can forward. That lycan shifted into a man and walked towards the queen. He started to smile a little as she walked closer to him. "Beautiful." He had told her as she stood in front of him. "What are y'all?" She asked. "We are know as lycans. We're like wolves but bigger and stronger." "Magnífico." She says. (Magnificent.) "Yes, we are." He says as he put his hand on her cheek. She leans into his hand, feeling calm and safe with him. As they stood like that, all she felt was tingles going through her body. Where she just wanted to be near him and want him. "Maybe I ask, what is that pulling force? The tingles that I am feeling?" She asked. "My dear, that's a mate pull. I'm guessing your my mate and you can tell it." He told her. She smiled and walked a little closer to him where, she had wrapped her arms around his waist. More like a hug but it wasn't. She was feeling the power running through them both. As they were holding onto one another, she felt a weird feeling like someone or something was coming, but in a harm way. As she heard a noise, she turned and saw a ugly creature come out of the woods and shot an arrow towards her and her mate. Without saying a word, she pushed back her mate and used her powers to push the arrow away from them. She sent a balls of fire towards the creature until it ran off back into the woods. The man, that says they were mates, ran towards where she was with the other lycans running into the woods to find the creature. "Dear are you okay?" He asked. "Yes, why wouldn't I be?" She said. "May I ask what are you?" "Me," she said as she pointed towards herself. "I'm a fairy queen." He bent down into a crouch to show her respect. "My queen." He said as his men came back and saw what their leader was doing. "Stand up, my mate doesn't have to bow down to me, even if I am the queen." She says as she leans forward and kisses his cheek. She turns to look at the others and they had shifted and bowed down at her. She had smiled some then thought of something. She kissed her hand and blew the kiss at them and gave them a gift of worthy and strength that they will need. Then turned back towards her mate and kissed him on the lips and done the same. "Let's go to our village. I have others there. We were on a hunt for food and finding that creature." He had said. "Okay. What was your name? Mines, Lilly." "Lilly, beautiful name for a beautiful queen. Mines, Mario. I'm the king of the lycans. And those men there are my most trust warriors." He had said. She nodded her head at him. Then they all shifted into their lycan form as she changed into her fairy form and flew with them to their village. When they arrived, the rest of the village was curious of the fairy queen until the lycan king said that she was his mate. Everyone has clapped and cheered for their king. Who knows how long he has been looking for his mate. Let alone, her to be the fairy queen. Another powerful leader. She hung out with them for hours until she felt a ping in her head that she was being summon to come back to her kingdom. "I have to go, I'm being summon to my kingdom. But I'll be back, I promise." She told him then kissed his cheek then changed into her fairy form and flew right out of there. When she got back to her kingdom, everyone was worried about her. But when she told them that what she found, some were excited but some were frighten of this. As she explained everything to them and the former queen, aka her mother, she felt sick. But not as in sick sick but like home sick. She was missing her mate. She would mope around the castle, a little off on certain things. Couldn't keep her mind clear, straight. So one day, the former queen had thought that maybe she should go with the current queen, her daughter to see this so call mate of hers. As time passed, for her it felt like months but it was only a week or two since she saw her mate. As the former queen thought, maybe "they need some fresh air." So they left the castle/kingdom on a small journey to the area of the village. As they fly around the area, the current queen started smelling the sweet smell of Mable wood which was what her lycan king of a mate smelled like. As they were hovering around the area, all you saw was the lycans running around. And a certain someone had spotted his fairy. He howled up to the air all happy. Where the fairy flew down as fast as she could and landed on his back and hugged him for dear life. As the former queen saw how happy she was with a different species, she was happy and allowed for they to date. As she landed herself and changed, the current queen introduced the lycan king to the former queen aka her mother. "Dear, this is the former queen, my mother." She had said. "Your majesty, its so nice to meet you and your daughter. I'm so very fond of her and she tells me it was your idea you bring her here today." He had said. "Yes, thy daughter wasn't being thy self. She was mopping around the castle, not doing very good in her training or other things." The former queen said. "When she came back last time after 1st seeing you, she had told me about you. She said, "Thy met someone, in thy village down from the kingdom. Thy believes its thy mate."; But when she said it was a lycan, I was a little off, told her, "Thy don't mate against our kind. Thy stay with fairies."; but when thy saw her mope with no hope, thy just knew. Maybe it's a new era, were we find mates in different species." "Yes, it is. I know y'all are older than me, especially you by the way you talk, but I am willing to do what I can for your daughter." The king had said. The former queen nodded and looked at her daughter. She may be thousands years older than her but she just knew it was time to more forward in time. After spending the day with the lycans, it was time to go home. But the former queen had an idea, that it would help her daughter with her mate that he should come with for the night. "Daughter, would thy mate like to come for the night?" The look that the current queen had was priceless, pure happiness. She looked at her mate with excitement in her eyes as she waited for him to answer. He nodded at first. "I'd would like to tell my next in command that I'm leaving for the night." "Thys fine, gives thy daughter and mate a chance to spend thy time together. And thy daughter to show thy mate around the kingdom. I'll go back and inform thy others." She had said then kissed her daughters cheek before changing then flying off. Once she flew away, the current queen grabbed ahold of the kings hand and went to his cottage to gather a night satchel, and tell his next and command that he was leaving for the night. Once that was taken care of, he shifted and she rode on his back to tell him where to go. Once they got to the kingdom, her guards were outside waiting for them and opened a small opening of the shield so the king can go through. With the shield up the fairies can go in and out just fine, but with other it keeps them out. But the current queen would have to fix that where the lycans can go in and out just fine as well. As the current queen showed the king around, he was amazed what he saw. The castle was built in the early BC era (1000 BC). But in over time, it got fixed up to look more into the time they were in. By the time the 4000 BC came along they did there 1st upgrade, it went from logs to stone. By the time 8000 BC came, it went from stone to bricks/clay. It took awhile to do everything in the builds since stone was a little heavy than the brick was. But brick was stronger than the stone. As they were walking around, the queen was telling the king stories. "Throughout time, we were attacked. That's were the shield comes in now. But before that, everything that was evil came at us. We were once logs but that caught on fire too much. Then went to stone, which broke a lot, sorta. We went into a war with elves and which they are powerful but not like us. They have limited power where we do not. But over time, as we got stronger and some of us became friends with the elves. Some do live here, matter of fact. They help with the shields now. By the time we went into another war, we built our building with brick. And that is where we are now." She told him. He nodded at her as they went up to her room. It was at the very top floor but with the most beautiful view. It saw the whole kingdom, and from a distance you can barely see the village where he lives. He smiled at the view and with that he pulled his mate close to him and held her in his arms. Later that night, the former queen had their staff make a feast for the king. By the time is was time to eat, the sun was going down. When the queen and the king came down he saw what was down and his smile grew bigger. The former queens, their mates, and the current queen and her mate all sat at the round table and began to make their plates to eat. Wine was served as their drink. As the king was eating he had noticed the other fairies looking at him while he ate. He looked over at his mate and she was looking at them. He was confused on what was going on at first until the former queen he had met had stood up. "Thy don't look at him like that. Thy daughter loves him and things are changing. Were becoming allies with him and his kind." "Thys, don't trust him. How do thy know that thy won't do nothing." One of the other former queens had said. "Grandma, trust in me, as your granddaughter, please. I love him, and I want what's best for all of us." "Pulling that card on thy." The former queen's mate had said. "Grandpa, you would do anything for grandma. What if she was like him or an elf or whatever." The current queen had brought up. The grandfather look at his mate for a few moments then looked at his daughter then his granddaughter. "What about thy father? What would he think?" "If he was still here, he would probably tell me to with my heart, "Thy heart wants what thy heart wants." And that's what my heart is telling me. I want my mate." The current queen had said as she looked at her mate. "Mother may have lost her mate during the last war, but I'm not losing mine." She had said as she grabbed her mothers hands. "Than, it thy should be done." The grandfather had said as he also grabbed his own mates hand and smiled.
