Percival Ignatius Weasley ✔ Perfect Prefect Percy

1951 Words
I never think of him as a partner in life. I hate him. He's so cocky and boastful. Always brandishing his prefect badge at everyone. He's a complete killjoy. I can't even count how many times he deducted points from my house, his own house, just because he caught me sticking my tongue at him. He always thinks high of himself. But maybe the saying about the more you hate the more you love was true because before I can even realize what's going on, I was undeniably crushing on him. Fortunately, he fell for me too. I'm not his first choice. Maybe because we both detest each other, that's why. But Percy has this bad luck when it comes to girls. Not that they don't like him. To be honest, there are surprisingly a lot of girls that want him too. The only thing is, they never last long. Percy can be frustratingly annoying all the time. He ends up with me, because, well, I can keep up with his freakish perfectionist ass. No one believes that we'll last long, but we love each other, bitches. Not because I am too stubborn for a Gryffindor and he's a perfectionist obeyer of the rules, doesn't mean we can't work it out. We were surprisingly perfect for each other. We understand each other in the way other people can't. Sometimes, there's no need for words to tell what the other feels. One look and we understand it. Everyone knows about our relationship, but Percy really values his prefect position and we always end up making out in secret. He won't even hold my hand in front of other students. At first, it irritates me because it makes me feel like he wasn't even proud of our relationship or with the fact that I am his girlfriend. Though, I still end up understanding it because I am crazily in love with his i***t of an ass. "He's with Penelope again. Aren't you getting jealous?" I close my book and stare ahead of me, where Percy and Penelope are talking, just like what George said. Percy is telling Penelope something, and they're both smiling widely at each other. "Who told you I'm not getting jealous?! He'd been talking to her most of the time. Always walking around side by side. I sometimes wonder if all he wants with me are my kisses and my touches. I want to hit them both with this book!" I grumbled under my breath, slamming the book on the desk. Fred and George chuckle behind me and I glare at them. They both raise their hands in the air at the same time and grin at me. Sighing to myself, I try to calm down the anger boiling inside me and give my full attention to the twins. "If you both have time to laugh at my hilariousness–" "Jealousy." "Yes, Fred. Jealousy. Remind me once more and I'll hit you with the book." They both shut up in unison. "Like what I'm saying, before I was annoyingly disrupted, if you both have time to laugh at my jealousy, maybe you also have time to cheer me up. Any prank I can watch?" They glance at each other and grin widely. I shake my head and grin with them. I watch them simply make their way to the table of Slytherins, unnoticeable and slip something powder-like on Crabbe and Goyle's cups, before slipping away still undetected. They were fortunate because there are a few Slytherins to notice them. They make their way back at me after giving each other a high-five. "What did you guys slipped into their drinks?" "We call it U-NO-POO." started Fred. "A powder to create constipation–" continued George. "And give you a lot of time in the bathroom." Fred finished, both of them looking back at the Slytherin table. "Oh. By the way, we named it after You-Know-Who." I just stared at them and roll my eyes. I then look past them and watch the scene unfold. Crabbe and Goyle, both stuff cupcakes in their mouths and grab their cups. They grin at each other before chugging down their drinks. We waited for a few seconds and we howled in laughter when they spring out of their seats, clutching tightly at their stomachs with pain etched into their faces. We watch in amusement as they run out of the hall, holding their stomachs and butts. "That was hella good!" I exclaimed, wiping a tear on the side of my eye, from too much laughing. "Yeah?" asked George. "First time to try it." followed by Fred. We were laughing so much that we didn't even notice that Percy's been staring at us, his hands crossed over his chest as he glowered down on us. "Hey." "Don't give me that. Ten points from Gryffindor." I stare at him bewilderedly. Most of the time, I'll let his tone and attitude slip by since I'm used to getting some deducting points, but I was enraged when I saw Penelope snickered behind him. "Ten points, your ass!" "What did you said? You're acting immature again." "Immature? Who's immature between the two of us? You can't even take a simple joke." "Say one more word and I'll take fifty points." "Then take it! Honestly, Percy, are you my boyfriend or not?" "Our relationship has nothing to do with your immaturity and insecurity." I scoff at him and shake my head. "Did you just called me insecure? You know what, let's break up." I know I am making a rash decision and it's going to hurt both of us in the end, but I'm tired. I'm tired of him, acting like I'm nothing as his girlfriend and just another student to take points from. "W-What?" "You heard me, Percy. I am breaking up with you." The whole Hall was filled with silence, as everyone watches how a relationship will end. Looks like they were right, Percy and I won't last long. "You see that? You're acting all immature again. Making rash decisions over stupid things." "It's not stupid things! All you think is prefect, prefect, prefect! You don't even know what others think of our relationship. They know about us, but they keep wondering why they never see us hold each other's hands and kiss each other's lips. We always make out in secret! Call me insecure, but I am just telling the truth. You never treated me like your girlfriend. I am just another student to punish and take points from. So, why make it hard? Let's break up. Taking points from me as a girlfriend, and taking points from me as another Gryffindor student doesn't make any difference. You're free to scold me now. I won't fight back. There's nothing to fight for." I was crying at the end of my words, wiping them hastily, I give him a forceful smile. "How about you ask Penelope out now? You suit each other. Both prefects!" I turn my back at them and walk past everyone, not rushing my steps or even running, just savoring my time as I make a fool of myself by crying in front of them. § I ignored Percy the whole day and won't even walk the way he's walking into. Fred and George stay at my side the whole time. They were apologizing. Saying something about 'If we didn't do that prank, he won't get mad and you won't need to break up with him.' I just shrug them off, telling them that it was no one's fault. Dinner in the Great Hall had just ended and I am making my way back to the Gryffindor tower so I can finally rest when someone grabs me and pin me on the wall. "What the bloody hell, Percy?! That hurts!" I bellowed, pushing him off me and rubbing my stinging shoulder. "You need to take it back." Percy's tone was commanding sternly, but I wasn't backing down. Frowning at him, I cross my arms across my chest. "Take what, back?" "Don't tell me you're breaking up with me?" "Oh, that one. Sorry, Percy. But I wasn't being immature when I said I am breaking up with you. Now, get out of the way." He hastily pinned me on the wall again before I can even take a step. I wince when I felt the stinging pain on my shoulder once more, and glare at him. "Baby..." I stiffened when his voice softens. I stare at him dead in the eyes, and I felt his grip loosen. His head drops on my shoulder as he envelops me in a tight hug as if I would disappear if he let go for even a moment. "Percy." "I can't, okay? I can't lose you. Please, Baby. You're the only one who sticks this long with me. If you want me to kiss you in front of everyone or hold your hand, I will. Just don't leave me." He was shaking at the end of his words, and I can't help but let out a sigh and kiss the top of his head. "All I want is for you to be proud of us. For you to be proud that I am your girlfriend because I am doing my best to reach you. But you're being too out of reach for me. You're getting away." Percy lifts his head and looks at my eyes, he lifts his hand and caresses my cheek. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Baby. You know I love you, right? So, don't try to break up with me again." I let out a chuckle and smile at him. "No, Percy. I won't do it again. That was stupid of me, knowing how I'm madly in love with you." "Same thing here." I roll my eyes when he let out a grin. A rare one. We both lean-to each other's spaces and brush our lips into a kiss. It was soft and slow at first, but then it heated up when Percy's warm hands slowly slid inside my uniform and create small circles in my bare skin using his thumbs. I let out a muffled moan between the kiss, and wrap my arms around his neck. Entangling my fingers on his curls of red flaming hair, pushing his head closer to deepen the kiss. I softly run my hands into his hair and down into his back. I can feel the warmth of his body against his robe. Percy was pushing me into the wall as our making out heated up once more. I felt his knees pushing between my thighs as his lips pepper my neck with sloppy wet kisses. He was on the verge of lifting my uniform blouse when a clearing of throat sounded behind us. We both turned around to look at who made the sound and saw a Ravenclaw prefect. He was looking sternly at the two of us as if he was a disappointed mother. "You know it was strictly forbidden to make out in corridors. It is strictly forbidden to make out in school. You should've known that yourself, Percy Weasley. Fifty points are taken from Gryffindor. Fix yourselves or I'll take another fifty points." We watch the Ravenclaw guy leave before I grin at Percy. He looks back at me and raises a brow. "What now, Baby?" "I just can't believe that Perfect Prefect Percy got fifty points deducted from his own house. That's a first." "Shut up." It was a playful tone, a grin plastered on his lips as he kisses me again. Not even caring if the Ravenclaw prefect, comes back. ☪
