N E D
I woke up and found myself sleeping in someone else's tent because of their games last night and what's more horrifying was that Dean was sleeping beside me and my head was placed on top of his arm. He was so darn close i could hear his even breathing.
I shouted as I jumped away from him upon realizing what was really going on and making Dean woke up.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked while looking so horrified.
"That should be my question, Ned." He said and I frowned hearing my name from his lips. Sounds like we were close but we're not and we would never will.
"This is Dave's tent." I said and he chuckled.
"Dave's tent is next to mine. I guess you got the wrong one."
I froze. That couldn't be true. This was the only black tent I saw last night.
"You're kidding."
"You think I am?"
I went out and I wanted to hide from embarrassment. How could I mistook a dark blue color from a black one. The sun was already starting to rise and I saw Felix went out from his tent dressed for the morning jog.
"Good morning, Ned." He said and I wrinkled my forehead.
"There's nothing good in the morning." I said and walked to Garret's tent hearing Felix's laugh.
"What with you?" He said.
I just had the worst morning of my life but I had the best sleep last night. It has been a while since I had a deep sleep. They were still asleep so I silently changed my clothes and went out.

It was our last day of the camp and had a group race with the same team where we have to do one task after another and one of task were we have to eat raw foods. Kevin was the one to choose among the four mysterious plates and above all he chose the lady's finger. I though I was going to die and Kevin even called Connor for substitution making us all protest because he was the one who choose it.
Over all, the blue team won and they gave them an extra cash as a reward. They prepared us lunch and our coaches thanked us for participating and for being there.
I helped Garret on his tent I felt so relieved when I sat on my usual spot on the bus and I closed my eyes. I felt so tired I wanted to sleep the rest of the day. We were so loud in the first ten minutes of the drive but we all fell asleep half of the drive.
I went directly to the couch in the living room the moment I got home and sleep. I woke up when someone was calling me making me groan.
"Dinner, Ned." Jameson said and I squeezed my eyes shut thinking if I was hungry or not. I was still full.
I stood up and walked to the dining room and saw mom arranging the plates and dad sitting on his place while Jameson was helping mom with the food.
"Ned, you must be tired and hungry from your camp." Mom said. I was about to refuse dinner but I saw that she cooked my favorite food.
"Thank you, mom." I said and sat on my place.
They asked about the camp the whole dinner and I felt so tired to answer them but I still answered their questions as best as I could.

"How was the camp?" Hayden asked first thing in the morning when I met him in front of the building.
"It's fine." I answered. "Nothing interesting really happened."
"Really?"
I nodded and we walked to our classroom together when I met Dave.
"Ned." Dave greeted and greeted back at him and smiled. "Off to your first class?"
"Yes. You?"
"Yes, but I was waiting for Earl." He said and I nodded.
Hayden poked my side with his elbow when Dave went away to look for Earl.
"You're already friends with the popular guys?" He asked and I frowned.
"Whose popular guys?"
Hayden chuckled. "Those basketball guys and now they're your buddy."
I chuckled. "What the hell. They're not my buddies."

Class dismissal and I couldn't wait to go home. I was rushing to the locker area to place my things and I saw Dean on his locker and our eyes met but I just proceed to my locker and did my things but I could see from the peripheral that Dean was glancing at me and I felt that uncomfortable feeling when someone was looking at you.
My heart suddenly beats a little fast for no reason when he started walked towards me but I didn't assume. Dean didn't have a business with me, so am I to him.
I jumped when someone suddenly leaned on the locker next to me and she wrapped her arms around Dean's waist. Dean glanced at me before he turned his attention to the girl.
"Were you looking for me?" She asked.
I shut my locker and walked out from the building. Somehow, I had this feeling that Dean had something to tell me if it wasn't for the girl. I just shooed this annoying feeling away and start to jog my way home.
I halfway home when I noticed a familiar car passed and pulled on the side but I ignored it only when the window rolled down and I heard a familiar voice.
"Ned."
I turned to looked at Dean and I didn't know why but my eyes went to the empty passenger seat which I was expecting for the girl to be there with him.
I frowned at him.
"I'll drive you home." He said.
"Thanks but I always go home on feet." I said, refusing him and I just saw him scanned me making me feel chills down my spine but it was a different feeling.
"Oh, really. Maybe I should do the same." He said.
"Yeah." I gave him a small smile, so small I could count it smile before I continued my way home.
I groaned silently because I could someone was following me minutes after making me turn around and Dean was driving so slow behind me enough to catch my pacing. I walked faster in annoyance.
What's his deal with me?
I stopped and turned around and Dean also stopped a few meters from me. I walked towards his car and knocked on the window. Dean slid the window down and smiled at me.
I wanted to knock that smile.
"What the hell are trying to do?" I asked.
"I am going the same way also." He said.
"Yeah. You are. Seriously? Do you always drive your car like a turtle?"
He stared at me for a few second, watching me intently making me feel so weird before he chuckled.
"Yeah, sometimes." He said.
"Weird." I muttered. "I don't know what's with you but I don't like someone following me around." I said and continued walking but faster.
Seconds after, I saw Dean's passed, speeding up and I was glad he was gone. He was a total weirdo.
I wondering why he was acting like that the rest of my way home. We weren't friends and I didn't want to be friends with him either. He was so arrogant and annoying for some reason. I hate his guts.
