Ben pulled into an almost empty parking lot, turned off the engine, and just ran out of the car. There was a flight of stairs in front of the building, but he took no notice and just ran up, taking two steps at a time, practically slamming through the building glass doors to get in. The area was filled with people who were on their way to other places. With their hand-carried bags and massive luggage, the travelers had their flights to catch, and the departure area of the Brunei International Airport was livelier as ever. He looked around the area, searching for her. He went to the check-in counter and saw that it was already closed. She would probably be inside the waiting terminal, done with all the checking-in, documentation, inspection, and now be waiting to board the aircraft.
