Cyd was starting to feel the weariness overcome her. She had to pull two all-nighters in the last four days, checking and sorting out documents for the merger. Her hand went up to massage her neck and tried to move her head around to ease the fatigue that she was slowly feeling. Nothing changed; she wanted just to go home and sleep for a day. Caren messaged her, asking what she would want for lunch, and though she did feel hungry, she was not in the mood for her usual rice toppings or noodles that they usually order. Still, she looked at her watch, and it read a little over 10 am. She still had time to think of what she was hungry for. Beef ribs, perhaps? Or grilled fish? What about sashimi?
