My drive is short and I get home and start making dinner since dad has to work late tonight. Right about the time I finish prepping the meat loaf I hear the bus pull into the driveway to drop off the twins. I run out to help them bring all of their stuff in. I can tell they are usually pretty tired after school since they have to work so much harder to get around and keep up with their classmates. We get everything gathered up and back into the house. Once all is settled, I lay them down for a nap while dinner is cooking.
Back in the kitchen I make some mashed potatoes and gravy to go with the meatloaf and finishing the meal off I add some green beans on the stove, so we get something green. Just as I finish getting the last of the meal sat on the table so we can eat, I hear t
