Two days later, Skylar hadn’t seen Harper again and she was beginning to worry that the teenager was avoiding her. Walking out of school with Alexandra at the end of the day, they headed toward the bus as the boys all had football practice that evening and they didn’t want to hang around. Just as they were nearing the awaiting vehicle, they heard a loud honk from a car horn, looking out over the car park, they spotted Mrs Parker waving at them from her parking space.
