Pancakes and punishment

NEXT DAY

AT MEDLENA'S POW:

I woke up at the same time as usual and noticed that something is different. I looked around saw a glass of orange juice close my bed. Probably one of the maids heard about the incident and bought it for me. I smiled and drank juice. It was pretty sweet, just a way I like. I went to the bathroom and took a small shower while trying not to injure my burned chest more. Ana did a pretty good job I am going to have a small scar there. I sighed and left to the kitchen. Inside the kitchen, I saw Christian, who was waiting for me.

-Did you liked your juice? -He asked me.

-It was you who placed it?-I asked him.

-It was me. It seems, that you liked it. - Christian said and pointed to the empty glass in my hand.

-I do like it.-I said.

-What are you going to do now?-He asked me.

-I am planning to make some pancakes, but I asked another maid to help me to make them.-I said.

- Good. -He said and left the kitchen.

I grabbed my recipe book and looked for the pancake recipe I always use.

***Author's note: I like using this recipe, so I hope you like it too***

You will need:

*1 egg

*1 pinch of salt

*Sugar depending on taste

* 200 g. Flour (I used wheat flour)

*A bit of milk

*A bit of baking powder (about half of teaspoon)

*Oil to grease the pan and 50 ml. for the dough.

How to make it:

Whisk egg with salt and sugar, until sugar dissolves. Pour oil and mix it. Mix some flour, a bit of baking powder, and add milk until you get whipped cream consistency. Heat pan, pour small spoons of dough, and wait until bubbles show up. Flip them and bake on the other side. Plate them with some jam or maple syrup.

I started to make the dough and saw one of the maids walking inside the kitchen. It was Mia, the maid who promised to help me.

- Mia, you here.-I said and smiled.

-I finished my chores.-She said and smiled.

-Great. -I said and smiled.

-We can start Madlena.-Mia said and smiled.

-Good. I already made the batter.-I said and smiled.

- We can begin. -Mia said and started to help me to make pancakes.

After twenty mins, we were done. After that, I asked a few other maids to bring food to the living room, and they did that. I was quite happy that most of the maids are friendly to me. Other maids are those who do not understand why I want to work in a kitchen after becoming alpha's mate. I smiled and started to finish my chores. After that, I was about to walk to my room, but to my unluck, Ana came in my direction.

- Seems we met you again.-Ana said and smirked.

- Ana, I said earlier, I do not care about you.-I said and walked past her.

- Madlena, I make sure that he will be mine.-Ana said.

I do not care about her opinion. Christian has his own opinion. I tried to walk past her, but she stopped me and grinned.

-I know about the bracelet, I make sure that you get what you deserve, girl.-Ana said and walked away.

I sighed. Higher rank people can be annoying sometimes. I do not like her, but since she is Christian's second choice mate, it is not my business. Anyways I have better things to do than talk to this high-rank rat.

AFTER FEW WEEKS

AT CHRISTIAN'S POW:

Ana seriously changed a bit. I noticed that she did like she asked and does not talk to Madlena. I know that she does not like her, but I must keep her until I mark Ana. I will be weak without a mate, and I also might lose my rank. That is one of those things that I do not want to happen. I walked inside the living room and saw some of my pack males talking. That is rare. I know that sometimes they decide to chill a bit, but still, this is a bit weird.

-Hey guys, what all of you are talking about?-I asked one of them.

-Hello Alpha. We were talking about some stuff that we have seen to be happening lately.-One of the man said.

-What do you mean?-I asked.

-Madlena was sadly walking in the woods. I never saw a female looking this sad.-One as the members said.

- I agree. Your mate is pretty sad every single day. I do not understand what are you doing to her alpha.-Another male said.

I looked at them confused. I never thought that Madlena could pretend to be happy in front of me, but show her real feelings in front of others. I sighed and left the living room.

-What are you doing?-My wolf asked.

-I am going to talk to her and find out what is going on.-I said.

-Alright. She is close to the woods. I can sense her there.-My wolf said.

-Thanks.-I said and went there.

After about ten mins of walking, I finally reached the place she was supposed to be at this moment. I saw her walking close to the river. I kept watching and noticed how one of the pack males approached her. He noticed him and walked backwards. He kept walking closer to her, and Madlena kept walking backwards until her back hit tree end. He was smirking and looking at her with l**t in his eyes. I felt how my wolf started to get mad.

-Don't be so scared cutie.-He said, and walked closer to her.

-Get away from me!-Madlena growled at him. I heard how she whimpered because of the bracelet she is wearing.

-I am not going to. We both know that your mate does not love you.-He said and smirked.

-He is my mate, and you are an ash*le!-Madlena growled.

I saw how he lifted her by the chin and tried to kiss her. Suddenly he fell on the ground and whimpered. I took a closer look and realized that Madlena kicked him.

-This is what you get!-She said with a mad tone in her voice.

I saw how he tripped her on the ground and made her fall into his grip. I saw how he kissed her, and I felt how my wolf got out of my body. I felt how he gripped that man by the neck and threw him into the water. Then he turned around to lift Madlena. I wanted him to put her down, but he pulled her close and started to drag her somewhere. I did not understood where he is taking her until I saw a hole with a metal lid on it.

-You can not do this to her!-I growled at him.

-I can. We made clear with her. If she kisses other men, she will receive a punishment.-He said.

-Listen, I am in control of this body.-I growled at my wolf.

-At this moment, I am doing this because sometimes you are just too weak Christian.-My wolf said, and I frowned.

I saw how he threw her into the hole. I never thought that my wolf will do something like this. As alpha, I can not let her leave this place until she will stay there for one week. I know that I will be weaker after this time. I sighed as I got back to my body control again.

-My wolf and your mate gave you punishment. You will leave this place only after a week. That is what happens when you stay closer to the other males.-I said and walked off. It was pretty hard to say that kind of words, but she must accept her punishment.

AT THE SAME TIME

AT MADLENA'S POW:

I can not believe that Christian did this to me. That man kissed me on purpose. I was disgusting. Now I got stuck into this hell hole for a whole week. I was not eating much food lately, so that is not going to end well for me.

-Madlena, he did this because his wolf took control. He is our mate, and his wolf got jealous of that man's actions.-My wolf suddenly spoke.

It was weird. My wolf stopped speaking to me after I told her that I do not want to have a mate. She does want to have one. I know that my wolf thinks that Christian is perfect for us. He is not. He is rude, rough, selfish, and stubborn, and his wolf is losing his temper pretty fast.

-You know that I tried him to like us with my cooking, but that did not worked.-I said.

-Madlena don't lose your hope in him.-My wolf spoke again.

-You only care about males.-I said to her.

I sighed. I tried to make Christian like us, but since Ana appeared, that is no longer my problem. He is probably thinking about how to introduce her to the whole pack right now. Why I even deserve that kind of life?
