After Symone fell asleep in my arms, I began flipping through the channels, looking for something to distract me since I wasn't very tired. I started hearing Symone call my name in her sleep. I simply smiled at her, then kept looking at the tv. It wasn't until her body grew hot and she started screaming that I thought to wake her from whatever nightmare she was having.
I placed my hands on her face and said her name gently, but she wouldn't wake up. Her screams got louder and more horrifying. Her heart was pounding in her chest and her body became drenched in sweat. I tried to mind link her but she couldn't hear me.
