Chapter 13: No longer weak

-Skylar P.O.V.-

Annie and I along with her baby were pushed out of the office once Asmodeus burst into hellfire. I then helped her back to her room and once she laid down, she passed out. She just had a baby not too long ago and now this stress is not good for her. Luckily her precious baby cuddled to his momma as they laid down on the bed. I had to do something because I could not let Mia pay for what I left behind. I could not let her get hurt the way I was hurt. Just then Moon came into my mind.

Moon: I have an idea, but you will need to be strong for it to work.

I immediately started working with Moon on the plan that she had come up with. Once the plan was set in stone, I ran to the house. I reached my room and grabbed my phone to see I had a call from an unknown number. He must have gotten my number from Mia’s phone. I called the number back only to be faced with that voice that used to haunt my memories and dreams.

Alpha Santos: Well, I was wondering when you would call me back. I must say it took longer than I thought.

Me: Just tell me where you are, and I will come to you. But for once in your life… promise me that you will let Mia go.

He chuckled on the other end of the phone, but I was nothing but serious. I knew he would not follow through with the plan, but I needed him to think that I was still the stupid girl I used to be.

Alpha Santos: I promise. Now come to this address…

He told me the address to meet him which wasn’t far from here, and I sprung into action. I pulled on some black leggings along with a hoodie. I then pulled my hair into a high ponytail then I slipped on some sneakers. I then ran out of the house to the cars. I took Aiden’s car and pulled out of the pack lands like a bat out of hell. While I was driving I mindlinked Lilith

Me: Can you track me since I mated with your sons?

Lilith: Why are you asking me this? And where are you? Did you leave the pack land???

Me: Just track me through my bond with my mates. I am going to get Mia.

Before she could have responded, I told her of the plan that Moon, and I came up with and she agreed to do her part. The plan was simple really… I would need to act like the scared little girl that he is used to pushing around. He thinks I do not have my wolf and he does not know that I am fully healed. Since he used magic to hide his location then they would not be able to track Mia, but there is a loophole. Since I am not under the magic spell as of yet then Lilith could track where I am going and then when the track cuts off, she will know where I am. I could feel her tracking me through the bond that I share with her sons and then I felt it cut off once I reached the dirt road that led to Mia.

He had hidden in an old bunker type of thing. I pulled down the dirt road and then I pulled next to the van that took Mia here. I am guessing that the van took her here because there are no other cars around. I quickly shut off the car and exit. I decide to act as if I am still naïve. I run into the bunker and bust through the door. I run down the stairs and come face to face with a bleeding Mia. I run over to her and shake her.

“Mia! Mia! Wake up!” I scream at her while shaking her.

Before she could wake up, I was being pulled by my ponytail and thrown back. I hit the floor hard and I wince from the pain, but I can feel Moon healing me. I act as if I am still hurt because I need him to think that I do not have a wolf. I stumble onto my feet while he stares me down.

“Please... let her go… you said you would.” I breathe out as if I am still hurt.

He chuckles deeply as he makes his way over to me. He grips my throat and lifts me off of the ground. I start to claw at his hands, but it doesn’t faze him.

“I lied.” He sneered at me. I then smirked at him causing him to look at me confused.

I shifted into my wolf, causing him to stumble back. I snarl at him and snap my teeth at him as he looks at me with wide eyes. I then lunge at him and bite hard into his leg causing him to call out. He punches me hard in the side of my jaw and I whimper from the hit. I am stronger than I was, but I am still an omega wolf. Before I can do anything else to him the door to the bunker flies across the room.

-Lilith P.O.V.-

I must admit that I was not that happy that Skylar went to get Mia, but I am also surprised at her plan. It will work and I should have known that he would contact her. When she left the room with Annie, I thought she would still be there with her while I tried to get my husband to calm down, so he doesn’t burn the whole packhouse down. As I am calming him down, she tells me of her plan.

I then scream for everyone to stop. “STOP MOVING ALL OF YOU.”

I then walk over to Elijah and Aiden and touch their marks that Skylar left. I use my powers to track her and now I know where she is headed. I pull away from them and look at me with confused expressions.

“Skylar went after Mia BUT I tracked her, and I know where they both are.” I yelled out.

Asmodeus walked over to me and grabbed my arm, he used his powers to read my mind so he could see where they were. Once he found them, he portaled directly to their location. I followed behind me… leaving our children in the office. They knew that we would come back with Skylar and Mia. Once Asmodeus and I were right in front of the bunker we looked at each other and he smiled evilly.

He ran to the door of the bunker and burst it open using hellfire. The door flew across the bunker and we ran in to find Mia chained with Skylar who has shifted and the worthless piece of s**t who hurt our little girl. Asmodeus then charged at the POS and picked him up by his throat and flung him across the room. “DO YOU LIKE HURTING WOMEN??!” He screamed at him as he landed a punch to the right of his cheek. I ran over to Mia and helped her down and then I carried her over to where Skylar was.

I look up once I hear another punch being delivered. “YOU WORTHLESS...” Punch to the ribs. “PIECE OF…” snaps his leg in half. “S**T.” Rips his left arm off his body. Then he grabs his throat and rips it out. Leaving a gaping hole. He turned to me and ran over to pick Mia up. He then portaled back to the house so Mia could be tended to. I look over to Skylar who is walking to Aiden’s car.

-Skylar P.O.V.-

I shift back into my human form once I reach Aiden’s car to pull out the long shirt that I brought along with me. I brought it just in case that I would shift. I wanted the man to know that I am no longer weak, and I will never back down to him again. I turn to see Lilith smiling at me.
