Chapter 5: Telling them

-Skylar P.O.V.- 

“When I was younger, I had a normal childhood. My parents were omega’s, but they were well-respected within the pack. One day when I was young some rogues attacked the pack. My parents died during the attack. I am not sure how, but they did. The Alpha then took me under his wing. In the beginning, he was nice, and he turned into a father figure for me. I had friends and a life within the pack, but that all changed… One night after I had turned 13, the Alpha snuck into my room and injected wolfsbane in me. It was enough to make me sleep for a full 13 hours. When I woke up, I was in the basement. I was on some cot in this little basement, and when I shot up from the bed…” I closed my eyes as the tears started to flow out of my eyes. “Next thing I know, I was slapped across the face. I cried out and the Alpha climbed on me and put his hand over my mouth. He then told me to shut up or else he would hit me harder. He then told me that things are going to change. He made me give up my life and turn into a slave. I had to wake up before everyone in the pack to make breakfast and then I would have to hide in the basement. Every now and then he would force me to come up to clean something or to take care of something. After the slap, he started to beat me every day. He was smart as he never left marks on my face, never broke any bones, and he only left bruises. He only left bruises and never broke any bones so I wouldn’t have to see the pack doctor. He didn’t want people to question anything. Then everything became worse when I turned 16. I only got some time with my wolf for about 2 days before she retreated… I was so weak from the daily ab**e and the injections of wolfsbane every day. After she retreated, he started to r**e me. He would beat me and then use me… he would leave me covered in his c*m and sometimes I would be too weak to crawl over to the shower to wash the filth off of me. I would understand if you both wanted to reject me… I would understand if you are disgusted with me.”

I was about to continue until Elijah and Aiden both growled at my words. I looked up to see them trying to control their wolves. Their eyes were shifting from their normal eye color to black. I wanted to withdraw my hands from them, but I figured that it wouldn’t be good if I did that. Finally, their eye colors went back to normal, and their expressions softened.

“I am sorry for scaring you. Our wolves didn’t like it when you said that we would reject you or that we are disgusted with you. We think that you are the most precious mate we could ever ask for. We could NEVER be disgusted by and we would NEVER reject you.” Aiden says. Before I can say anything, Elijah speaks.

“Don’t ever say that you would understand if we could reject you or that you would understand if we were disgusted with you. My brother speaks for me as well as our wolves. We want to love you and show you that you deserve more then what you think of yourself. We just need to remind our wolves to calm down because they wanted to come out to comfort you as well as tell you to never speak of yourself that way again. But we understand that you need time to get used to us first before you meet our wolves. In the meantime, your wolf will have to keep them company.” Once he said that, Moon started to purr.

Moon: Don’t mind if I do.

Me: shut up.

Moon: They are telling the truth. You can trust them. All they want to do is to love you. I know it will take time before you believe my words, but you will come to figure out for yourself that you can trust them. Until then I will imagine the both of them d**king us down.

Me: MOON! SHUT UP.

She laughs then retreats to the back of my head. I look up to see them both staring at me. I went to say something when Hannah walked in.

“Well, you are ready to leave. You are healed for the most part, but honestly, you need bed rest and to eat a lot of food. You need to get your strength back up so you can let your wolf out, in the future. I am going to get your discharge papers and then my mother will take you to your new home.” She smiled at me then smacked the back of her brother’s heads. “See ya later losers.” She told them.

I chuckled while they turned to me and pouted. POUTED! I swear my heart jumped a bit. Just then Lilith walked in. She smiled brightly and then told her sons to get out. They went to protest, but one look from her had them shutting up. They ended up leaving while Lilith turned to me.

“Now you are going to be living with me with my husband and your mates. You will not share a room with them as they will have their own rooms and they will not push themselves on you. They will stay away so you can grow comfortable enough to be around them. I also wanted to say that I am so glad that you decided to tell them about your ab**e and everything that happened to you since it will help them to understand you better. I know this might seem like everything is moving too fast, but my sons would never hurt you. You are safe here and you will come to learn that. But I need to tell you something, okay?” I nod at her. “You will have nightmares from the ab**e and the r**e. Now, with that being said I will need you to keep your door cracked. That way my sons/your mates will be able to come in your room and touch your cheek or shoulder to pull you out of the dream. Your door will need to be cracked because the rooms are soundproofed, and I do not want you to stay in your nightmare longer than you have to. Okay?” She asks me softly.

I think it over for a second and I think that will be fine. I hear Moon agree with me in my head. “Okay, sounds good.” She nods then sighs.

“Also, I know you already met Hannah, who is my oldest child. Then there is Gavin and Xavier who are twins. They have different mates. Gavin’s mate's name is Lucy, and they live on the pack land, and then Xavier is the Alpha of this pack.” I went to say something, but she held up her hand. “We Alpha this pack together. He was in line to take over, but since the pack is huge, he didn’t want to take it all on himself. So, I ran it with him while he became the face of the pack but Xander still sees me as the Alpha no matter what.” She chuckles a little at the statement. “Then Elijah and Aiden are of course my second set of twins whom you already know. Last but not least, Mia is my youngest daughter. Now I told you all this because Xavier will want to meet you along with the Luna. Her name is Annie, and she is a pregnant woman who is very excited to meet you.” I chuckled a little at her statement. “Mia still lives in my house, but she also stays at her mates house, sometimes. Any questions?”

“How old are they all?” She chuckles.

“Of course, I would forget their ages. Hannah is 24, Gavin and Xavier are 23, Elijah and Aiden are 19, and Mia is 17. Now how old are you?” She asks me softly.

“I am 18.” She nods and smiles.

“Now, are you ready to meet your new home?” I nod and smile at her. “Okay, I brought a bag with some clothes in it for you to change into and once you are done, I will be waiting right outside of your door.” She says this as she grabs the bag and hands it to me.

“Thank you.” I tell her with a smile.

She exits the hospital room, and then I get up to walk over to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and then I put on the clothes. It was an oversized t-shirt and then some black leggings. In the bag were also sandals. I then put my hair up in a high bun and then I used the toiletries that were in the bag. I used the lotion on my arms and feet. I then grabbed the bag and left the bathroom to meet Lilith who was waiting for me.
