I sat down nervously on Lucia's parents' couch waiting for them to come downstairs. Lucia had gone upstairs to tell them I was around.
After I spoke to Maureen and entered the house, Lucia had told me that her parents called and they said they would be around so we could come.
She called them earlier in the morning and they said they would be available by mid day. When she told me they called, I instantly felt unsure.
