Chapter 7

Zero never stopped pacing back and forth. He couldn't leave his townhouse because of the media and his fans outside. His phone rang every now and then like a non stop music, getting a calls from his beloved friends and his manager. I placed down the bunch of flowers and cards from his fans. I lost count of these flowers and stuff and his room looked like a room of a Mistress now. I expected him ordering me to throw them away but instead he asked me to bring it all, he meant everything in here. I didn't know he has a thing for flowers and stuff. "You dearly appreciate your fans." I walked to his window and tried to peek, and there his undying fans and the media are still waiting for an interview or one glimpse from him. The news about his admission to a hospital was spreaded like a wildfire. If he was stayed at Violet's care then this would not be going to happen but his father insisted to move him into a huge facility. And now we were taking the risk at all aspects. "I'm not that jerk Axl. Fans made The Xemical not the other way around. We appreciated them like how they appreciated, supporting and loving our music." he sounded poetic now. "Then you are not that jerk after all." I nodded. Nowadays musicians come and go, they got the fame and live with these previlege at the fullest. But few of them can actually appreciate their fans when they are out of stage and spotlight. "There this bunch of women outside claiming that they are all your girlfriends." I wrinkled my nose. He cleared his throat and fished out his cellphone. And my brows drew a line as he phoned his girls, he has a long list of them. Surely he really loves his fans and girls indeed. I am not doubting that. It took a days before the news died down. His fans and the entire media finally calmed down. There are few people wacthing him still but not the same number anymore. The Xemical gathered a press conference without Zero's appearance. Giving the press a statement to avoid the rumors once and for all. Saying that he was doing good and still recovering from his trauma. And now we are heading to the HQ. I'll come to base with him along with me, the Elite didn't give me the papers I needed and I could not afford to leave him out of my sight. Speaking of sticking with him 24/7. "Can I stay here in my car?" he asked. We were here outside of Elite's premises. "No, no one's with you. Do you want to be bed ridden? Again?" asking him before closing his door. He didn't have a choice but to follow me ahead and we were welcomed by my co agents, Windy and Toxic. "Agent Axl, Mr. Abellioni." Toxic greeted. I just nodded as an answer while Zero grabbed his hand for a handshake. "You're all seem too occupied recently." I said to no one when I noticed they're all present today. "I guess, yes. How's life there? How are you baby-sitting the famous, hot specimen and front man of The Xemical band? Edit the part that he's Zero Abellioni. The multi billionaire's son." she grinned at me. I was impressed by her resources. She got the fully and complete details of my recent activity rather my recent assignment. I glanced at the boys' direction and let out a sigh of relief when it seemed he's out of eavesdrop. "Why not try to babysit the infamous Zero Abellioni and see it for your self." lazily I replied, fiinding this topic too irrelevant. I grabbed the files she was holding. "Are you sure you're not affected by his charm? I meant that's Zero Abellioni, the handsome playboy we are talking about." she crossed her arms and watching me intently. I stared at her for a second and focused to the files. "Are we going to start the training here or Sir Arthur has a better idea instead?" it wasn't mention here in this report. "You'll train him here." she paused. "Tell me Axl.. are you sure there's no romance between you and that Zero." I thought she got the message when I did not made any comments about her stupid wild idea. "Agent Windy. You're asking a non sensical question. I prefer to work, is that all right?" she's started to get on my nerve. "All works no play. Makes a dull girl like Axl everyday." she playfully said. I rolled my eyes at her. I had never mixed my personal life with my job. Our choice of field was not a joke so as much as possible I wanted to be this serious at all time. "Your long haired prince is coming." she whispered and grinned. I glanced at my back and saw him approaching us. I cleared my throat to warn her. I don't want to blow his bloated ego once he found out that we were talking about him with this ridiculous topic. "We will start our training in a minute." I told Zero when he stopped beside me. "I want him to be my trainor." he pointed at Toxic. "I'm the one who is in-charge to train you, Zero." didn't bother on what he's requesting for. "I never hit a woman. Nor for a practice and all." he explained. Not again Zero. "Such a gentleman." Windy burst out laughing. "Still we'll start our training in a minute." I ended the conversation and signalled him to follow me. "Axl, don't be hard on Mr. Gentleman!" Windy's teasing voice. He reluctanly followed my order. As if he has a choice. Here in the camp we have indoor and outdoor training venue but I chose here. It's way better the indoor spot. "Wow! You have a nice training room." he looked impressed by our indoors. We have complete equipments and weapons here. From guns, knives, swords and archers. "Do you know any basic?" I started. I need to know what he can and cannot do. Or he's this noob and weakling. "Never been tried." his honest answer. I nodded. We needed to start from scratch. It's more easier if he knows a thing about self defense but then it's fine with me as long as he's going to cooperate. "Start to run from here to there " I pointed at the corner of this room. "Two laps." I fished out my phone to take his time. "Run? Seriously.. I'm gonna run, here?" he's creasing his forehead by that stupid question. "Yes. You may start now." I motioned him to start. "Axl you will train me to defend my self, not to become a runner." his face looked twisted. My lips quirked up with his statement. "We will start from scratch. I need to know your stamina. After running we can choose what basic skills fit for you." I slowly explained to him. "Can we start now Mr. Abellioni?" "I ran every morning. Even you, know that. I don't need to show it to you here." he proudly said. What a pain in the ass. I put down my phone to the nearest table and removed my jacket. And he was just watching me doing all of that. I positioned myself in front of him. "Try to attack me with all your strength in any manner." I motioned him to throw a punch. "But I never hit a woman, I've told you." he shook his head. Closing my eyes as my irritation eating me up and swallowing all my patience. You can do this Axl, don't let him ruin you as a professional. I chanted to myself. "Then try to imagine I'm not a girl." I calmly said. "But-" "Damn. Just throw a punch now or I will break every pieces of your bones!" I irate said. Still he didn't manage to make a move. He stood still like a barnicle. As his black orbs intently looking at me. "Alright!" I sighed in defeated. "Find someone who is suit to your taste." I walked past him to the table. I surrendered for the first time. I took a seat and looked for him, he's now busied talking with Toxic. I didn't know that the two agents followed us here. And what the heck? Why all men are too sexist? They think too high of themselves, that men were born strong and women were weak. I huffed when the two boys made to the center and started their training. Zero made the first move, throwing his first jab, second and so on. And Toxic evaded all his attempts because of speed and endurance, yes Zero was slow like a turtle. He must work hard with his speed to make a solid move, or else he's lifting his hands and yet the enemy already knocked him down. "He's quite good for a beginner." agent Windy's comment. "I don't think so." I replied. But Windy was right. Zero has a potential and that's a good start. "He's just a beginner." she insisted. "He's not being handful to train." I pursed my lips together. Yeah sure, if only he likes me to train him and he's being cooperative then maybe that's a good sign for me. But the problem is he wasn't that easy to handle kind of a person. "He's a pain in the ass." I just said and took my phone. It's better to read some informative files. "But a hot male specie." Windy said. I didn't know she has a hots for him. And even here in Elite Zero has an avid fan. I just ignored her as I started to rummage my phone. The enemy has been quiet for a while. Nothing's unsual at all in this report. If there's new it's only our newest schedule, Zero's schedule for a month. After his training, we will going back to his townhouse. According here in this papers The Xemical still on a vacation. But a few interviews for a tv shows. Showbusiness indeed. Sucks. From my phone my gaze went up to Zero or to the people in the center. Agent Windy is with them and exchanging some funny thoughts or stunts I think. Windy is teaching Zero on how to attack his opponent with the perfect timing. Yes, everything needed a precise calculation with time to make it perfect. Agent Toxic gave way to them and I was taken a back when I saw how Zero Abellioni throw his punches away. Windy was trying to show him on how to dodge in return. It's not true then that he didn't want to hit a women but he was a picky one. He doesn't like me as a person why he refused my training. As simple as that. I shook my head and dragged back my attention to my phone. I need to get used to it. I wanted to stay to be his bodyguard so I needed to deal with everything. He was my passport to Arachnidos after all. "Axl can teach you the other basics." I could hear their voices nearing my direction. Finally, they were done with their training. "He doesn't like me for a trainor." I commented and left my seat. "Why it's better if you'll going to be his trainor." "I would love if I have time. But I'm gone for a weeks." agent Windy grinned. "Toxic can train me." Zero suggested and side glanced at me. "Anyway, thanks for the tips, Windy." he faced again Windy. "Don't mention it. If I am not need to the field I really want to train you Zero." Windy smiled. "Oh, don't forget our picture together." she asked a photo and agent Toxic was going to caption their moments. They both have the brightest smile and agent Windy's chirped when Zero draped his arm around her shoulders. "Shall we go?" I asked Zero when they're finished the picture taking. "Can you take our picture Axl? Or wanna join us here?" she pointed at her side, between her and Zero. While agent Toxic has joined them too. "I'll take your photo." Never in a million years I would ask for his photo. He might be think I was one of his fans. "Thank you Axl." said Toxic as he passed the cellphone. "No problem." I replied shortly. I took a few shots before lazily gave the phone back to Windy. Hoping that's enough for her. "Zero let's go." again I repeated myself. "We have to go, agents." "Thanks Toxic and Windy." he smiled at them as he bid his goodbye. We never bothered to talk while taking the way to his townhouse, and somehow it made me feel fine with it. "Axl, about my training.." he said before I got to my room. "I understand." I nodded and reached for my door. He doesn't need to scream to my face that he loathed me that much why he picked them over me as his trainor. I was only here for my job, I'm paid off well and that's fine. It doesn't really matter what the hell he was thinking. "Can you listen to me first?" I was shocked by his presence in this room. "No need Zero. I really understand." "Then why so gloomy?" he asked while looking through my face. "Gloomy?" I creased my forehead. "I'm not." I was exhausted and not interested at this talk. I heard him sigh. I don't even know why is he here inside my room and bugging me. "You have anything else to say?" I asked without looking at him. I was torn between doing something later or nothing at all. "I will have my interview tomorrow." "I already knew." Silence filled the room and I thought he left without a word. But then I heard his long deeply sigh. "I don't want you to train me because I can't use my hands to hurt you." he broke the silence. "And I really never hit a woman." "But you let Windy trained you." I mutterd to myself. "Hey, she was just teaching me how to dodge." "Thank you Mr. Gentleman Zero. You can leave now." I said in a sarcastic tone. "Axl, I just want to clear things out. Okay?" he frustratedly said. "No need, just don't bother." "But you looked and acting like a jealous girlfriend now." he said that in his normal tone while caressing his long black hair. "A jealous girlfriend?" I c****d my head. "Yes, you acting like one." he's looking at me intently. "Get out Zero. Before I think of crushing your bones." I said in a calm manner, where the heck he got his frigging idea. He heaved a sigh. He just said that I looked like a jealous girlfriend awhile ago? What a conceited jerk.
