Chapter 5

After that incident happened everything had changed. Yes I'm an agent and I vowed to my craft but I have things need to be done with.

I glanced at the bunch of idiots whose now dancing at the center of the dance floor. I needed to make sure of one thing.

I checked on my appearance before I walked into the hype. I forced myself to dress for this show.

"Hi sexy.. wanna dance?" I stopped suddenly when a hand slipped on my waist.

"No thanks. I'm just here for someone." I wrinkled my forehead and looked at his hand.

"You looking for someone? Then I may be the one you looking for.." he grinned.

"I have to go. And I assure you it's not you." I quickly snapped at his and swatted it away from my waist.

"Maybe we can get out.. my place or yours?" he asked away.

I walked closer to him. And the horny dog looked like in a daze. What I hated the most is when someone or something interrupting me from my work.

"I'm not here for you so if you value your life.. stay out of my way or vanish in the thin air." I could feel him uneasy when my handgun touched his left abdomen.

"I-I u-understand." he was stammering now.

"Good." I nodded. He was not a slow kid after all. Despite the loud music he understood right away what I was trying to say.

I started to walk again close to my target. But he disappeared.

"He's gone." I murmured.

My pace changed to hurry when I could not find anyone and blended to the crowd. My target wasn't here anymore. I looked everywhere and found my target ascending the second floor. He was with a girl.

I passed the party people smoothly and followed my target. His minions were still busy with their girls and partying hard.

I smiled when I saw them entering a room. I counted a minute before I walked through the door. Slowly I twisted the knob and I was right, it was not locked from the inside. Phew.

Even I tried my hardest to not make a disturbance I still got their attention.

"I don't expect for a threesome." the guy grinned at me then glanced at the girl on his lap, who's now naked.

"Just continue baby." the girl moaned. "And you girl-"

"Arachnidos." I said slowly.

The guy jumped from his bed to where his gun at but I know better and made it faster than him. I hold my gun tightly and pointed at his temple. "This will going to be quick." glancing at the girl that was now stuck in her place back to the guy.

"Wha-what you want? And who are you?" finally the guy asked.

"Where is Arachnidos?" I started.

"I-I don't know."

"Where're they hiding? Where can I find Arachnidos?" I asked again and pointed hard my gun at his head.

"I have no knowle-aahh!"

"I'm losing my patience now." I uttered seriously while pressing hard his shoulder. In a skillful way.

"I re-really don't kno-"

I smashed his face with my gun. And faced the girl and made her silent when she screamed in fear.

"Spill it." lazily I faced him again.

If he didn't like to spill the bean then I have no choice but to get it from his colleague.

"Mi-mikita Paseo! That's the place you looking for!" he shouted his answer when I twisted hard his arm.

"Make sure you not lying or else you'll get more. Coz I'll be back to finish you." I let him go and reached for his gun and unloaded it.

"You can't kill us!" the guy laughed like a madman even he's wounded from his swollen lips and half opened eyes.

One wrong move and the guy fell off unconsciously on his bed. I had to make him sleep because he's too loud for my peace.

One by one I removed my disguise, from wig to lenses. Wiping my bloody red lips and now facing my laptop.

I typed Mikita Paseo. According to my source this is a decent working place. Even I used a certain app I still could not find anything related to Arachnidos. I only have a few minutes before the enemy could find what I have been doing right now and what I have done awhile ago.

"Why are you doing this?" he was watching me intently.

"I don't need to explain anything." shrugging my shoulder.

"Does Elite know that you're giving us a confidential infor-" I cut him off.

"Sniper, it was just a tip. No confidential or classified info has been spilled, all right?" I took a deep sigh. "But if you're not interested then it's fine." I rose from my seat.

"We are making a move not because you gave us an information. We already have the report and they are unfortunately in our hot list." he said and just nodded.

"Hope for possibiltiy." I started to walk when I heard him clear his throat.

"Okay. You can go with us. But be sure you're not going to be a hindrance." he stood up from his chair.

I bit my lips and nodded at him. I was really expecting but this is too overwhelmed. Though this is one of my conditions when I proposed my deal with him.

"I'll go to briefing my men." he said and then he left the room.

I was well prepared before I came here. I hacked lot of sites and such just to get information about Mikita Paseo. And to get details about their organization. And now, I am waiting for Sniper to finish his meeting to his men then we can go there.

"It's still a mission critical Axl." Sniper tapped my shoulder.

I let out a sigh and left my bike. We didn't find anyone at Mikita Paseo nor a big fish, what we got were those amateur weaklings that seem and looked like they were having a night work. Not even a fishy transaction and all. Though it was confirmed, still I find this negative.

"How come you think it's still a mission critical?" I asked Sniper wearily.

We got to his station. I will spend my night here.

"We got files and we captured some of their people." his simple replied.

"They are protected, even you nabbed them tonight. By tomorrow or next days they will free as a bird." that's how law too soft to its abuser and voiolator. Granted you have this solid evidence.

"Why so desperate with Arachnidos? It is because of your recent client or you have other reasons?" he crossed his arms and rested on his back.

He looked at me as if he could read my real intention and as if I will let him know a thing.

"Not the latter." I replied shortly.

"Is it still about what happened before?" he arched his brows.

"Not really." I shook my head and left my chair. I might spend my night at my apartment for tonight.

"Where you going?" he asked me abruptly and looked not pleased.

"Home." my short replied and turned to my heel.

"That's a huge organization, the Arachnidos. You can't just work with yourself, alone. And involving yourself with them is craziness, your past wouldn't like it for sure not even a slighest." his last words before I left him for rest.

I know I'm not powerful enough to kill them all but cutting their legs, making them weak surely as I will put damage to Arachnidos. I'm going home now because it's too late or too early to rush at the hospital.

When I first saw the tattoo on the arm of that guy in that bar, I know for sure they are part of Arachnidos. And it made me hundred percent sure than anything else when they plotted an attack there in the cemetery.

They are merilly chatting with each other when I entered Zero's room. So his friends pay him a visit.

"Miss assistant!" it was Abbas, the first person who noticed my appearance.

Everyone looked at my direction but not him.

"Hey Axl." Kale greeted.

"How are you? Have you heard on what happened to Zero?" I was asked by that thing by Ethan.

"Yes." that's my short answer and closed the door behind me.

"You're lucky you were not with him." Abbas shook his head and cringed. "He's unlucky day has just happened when he got played by those punk, we just be thankful he's safe now."

"Just continue your chat outside. I wanted to take a rest." said Zero. My eyes went to him instantly.

"Dude, it was just a bruise. Stop talking about resting." Ethan said and stood.

"Ethan, let him be. He suffered much a few days ago." Abbas laughed out loud.

"We better go." Kale said suddenly. "Take care of him." and then he nodded at me back to him. "Zero will be back before you discharge." and he left us.

"Take care of him Miss assistant." Abbas was still being playful before leaving the room.

"Dude we're leaving." Ethan said. "Please be patient with him." he told me then they were out of our sight.

I made my step near him an inches away from his bed. And noticed the discoloration of his wound.

"How are you feeling?" I asked him as he lied down on his hospital bed.

He ignored my question and just closed his eyes. I creased my forehead. What now is his problem?

"Zero, how are you feeling?" I touched his arm.

"Leave." he spatted my hand childishly.

I took a deep sigh. He seemed okay and fine before when he was with his friends but now he's acting differently.

"I think you're fine." Instead of being me, I just let it passed and found myself on a couch.

"Yes I'm fine so go and leave." he said in a very low voice.

"Are you nut? Why you think I am going to leave you?" I asked him and just took out my phone. "Sleep if you want to rest. I'm staying here."

"I'm requesting for a new bodyguard." that statement made me stopped from what I am doing.

I was not informed by anyone, neither Kairo or Sir Arthur nor James about the replacement thing. How come I was removed from my job.

"Childish." I murmured.

"I'm not childish!" he raised his voice and that violent movement made his IV fluid's unhinged.

"What's your problem Mr. Abellioni?" I stood from my chair and faced him.

"Leave Axl." he didn't meet my gaze.

I sighed. I stared at him with intensity but carefully. He looked like a kid who doesn't get what he wants and now he's throwing tantrums at me. My forehead creased when I saw the red stained on his gown, his wound.

"You're bleeding." I rushed to the intercom and called a nurse. He's really a hard headed i***t.

"You are no longer my bodyguard, you don't need to act as if you were really care." he said before he rested on his back.

Looking at him, I couldn't help but to stare. He hated me being here it's a good thing he was asleep. I didn't know what was his problem or why he said that. But as long as no order from my superior, I'm still his bodyguard.
