Sebastian was seated on the couch, watching a football match when Hailey walked in the living room with only a white towel wrapped around her body and shampoo in her hair. On seeing her Sebastian's eyes widened. 'Why-Wh-what happened' He asked.
'I was washing my hair when the water stopped' She replied blinking. There was soap in her eyes too Sebastian noticed as they were red and watery.
'Oh, umm well do you have anything underneath the towel' Sebastian asked with a hint of embarrassment.
'N-no ' Hailey stuttered, a little taken aback by the question.
'Well umm go put something' Sebastian told her. 'Then go the swimming pool'
'Alright' Hailey replied and rushed out of the living room.
The indoor pool looked warm and inviting with dimming lights, that casted intriguing shadows on the tiled walls. From the doorway, Hailey silently watched Sebastian gently slide into the water with a faint splash. Her heart skipped a beat as she watched him glide through the water and felt her breath caught in her throat as he cut through the water in an absolutely graceful way. With her eyes still trained on him, she slowly walked towards the pool. Hailey couldn't take her eyes from him. The way in which he swam, made him look like a powerful and dangerous predator. When Sebastian halted, Hailey quickly dropped her towel and dove in, not wanting the Greek god to find her staring at him. She swam a little bit, then lifted her head from the water and rubbed her eyes and arms to remove the soap.
When she raised her head, she found Sebastian staring at her. 'I didn't know you could swim' He said.
'I know and I swim even better than you' She replied, amused.
'I don't think so but let's see, the one who arrives at the pool's edge is the best swimmer' He challenged.
Instantly, Hailey dove in again and Sebastian dove right after her. He quickly caught up with her and wrapped his powerful arms around her waist and shot her to the surface. She erupted from the water laughing. 'Now who is the best swimmer?' He asked with his arms still wrap tightly around her waist.
'It's me because you cheated' she replied.
'Who is the best swimmer?' He asked again tickling her. Hailey, being very ticklish, started laughing again. She tried to get away from him but in vain. Finally, she replied while laughing hysterically 'It's you' but as Sebastian stopped, she quickly turned around and sent a jet of water at his face and quickly dove as he retaliated.
By the time she surfaced, Sebastian was at the edge of the pool, one arm hooked around the metal bar. Her heart skipped a beat when she caught sight of him. He was smiling. Swallowing the gulp in her throat, she smiled back at him. They stared at each other for a while both completely mesmerize by each other. It was Hailey who looked away first, suddenly blushing.
Sebastian coughed then said ' I think we've got to get now or we'll be late.' Hailey only nodded and got out of the pool followed by Sebastian.
