Inside the pack hospital, Kali busied herself with her nightly duties, her mind still lingering on the revelations of the past evening. Mason nodded thoughtfully, reaching across the desk to gently grasp her hand. "We'll go together," he assured her, his voice firm with resolve. "I'll talk to Dad about arranging some time off for us. We'll make a trip of it, find out everything we can."
