Walking out of the office with Josh my brother and my mother. I grab my mother's hand and pull her aside. I clutched both her hands and stood right in front of her Josh stood beside us. I waited for the office door to shut before I started talking.
"Mum, I'm sorry for how I treated you when I got here. I didn't know what you went through. I was blinded by my own experience I didn't consider yours. I thought you hated me, that you loved Josh more than me to leave me with that monster. I was so scared"
