ZACCHAEUS was busy signing papers while August was waiting for it when two persons entered his office. Bahagya siyang natigilan nang makita ang mga bagong dating saka ipinagpatuloy ang pagperma.
Bahagya namang yumuko si August sa dalawang bagong dating.
“I’ll just finish this, Mom, Dad.” Ani Zacchaeus.
“Okay, son. Take your time.”
“Take your time.” Anang kaniyang ina.
Zacchaeus sighed when it suddenly occurred in his mind that his mother talked to his wife again. Hindi niya alam kung ano ba talaga ang nasa isipan ng kaniyang ina. Sometimes his mother is hard to read.
When he finished signing the papers, he gives it back to August. “Tell the Head of Finance Department to come and report to me this afternoon.”
“Yes, Sir. I’ll inform him.”
Tumango si Zacchaeus. “You may leave.”
