We enter the cell next door and there is a guy with dark hair and hazel eyes who looked vaguely familiar. “Alpha, why am I in here? I never had any dealings with Sandra. I never even liked her or spoke to her.” The guy asks Hunter and then looks at me.
“It’s so good to see you again Mia, you are even more beautiful than I remember. I am sorry Sandra hurt you, are you okay now?” He asks me with a gentle smile. Hunter gives him a warning growl but he continues to smile at me not even acknowledging Hunter. I know what he said to Hunter was truthful and he genuinely wants to know if I am okay but something feels off.
