Mia’s POV I lay my hands on his head and let Athena do her thing. She starts to sift through his memories so fast it’s making my head hurt. “What exactly are you looking for Athena?” I ask her. “Almost there just give me a minute.” She answers making me sigh. Then I see it, a memory of the day I arrived at the pack. He was watching me walking along the border with an older man. The man looks vaguely familiar to me but I can’t place it at that moment. The man crouched down and kissed the top of my head. “You will be safe here, it’s the best I can do.” The old man says and then he walks away leaving me crying on the spot. A few minutes later a guard approaches and speaks to me. I can’t answer him because I don’t remember anything. Sam approaches us but the guard tells him to go home. He
