I told them about what happened in the past and we are currently at Ygrette's house because Ygrette is alone here. Aunt is at work for sure.
We often hang out here at Ygrette's house especially when we know she is alone and Tita is not around. Tita is also active in her work, so Ygrette is often alone in their house with no one around. Especially now that there is a lot to work on and finish in the company.
"You know that we have money, Yeri. You can always ask Tita Avi or your Dad for it! I know you're a Daddy's girl. Everything you want is given to you by Tito." Ygrette said to me that I just held my breath.
"I know I can but I don't want to. It's not about the money anyway." I just whispered softly and I don't know if they heard it.
Money is not a problem for us. Yes, I can and I can ask for money anytime I want but I don't want to. Money is not my problem either. I really just want to have a little experience this vacation because I don't have anything to do for sure.
It's been a month since that
went on vacation and now I'm just staring at the ceiling of my room.
I really have nothing to do this summer. I've read all the pending books I've been reading and the new books I've bought so I can't do anything anymore. I finished rewatching my favorite movies and series.
I guess I just need to do advanced studies for the upcoming school year, especially now that I'm in Grade 12.
But what if I just do advanced studies?
I don't think the family plans to go outing this year because firstly we are not complete and secondly everyone is too busy especially the elderly. Compared to previous years, they have more projects being handled now so I don't even dare to have an outing now.
Even better, Glenn and Pat are on vacation in their provinces and are enjoying the sea. Joan, for sure, also enjoys playing computer games. Sometimes it even streams live on twitch. But what I do know is that he mentioned one day that they were going on vacation with their cousins. That's all I know and he never mentioned it to me again so I don't know anymore.
At least they have a vacation plan.
I started shaking again.
I really want to go on vacation and go fishing!
I stopped staring at the ceiling when my phone suddenly rang. I saw that Justin was calling the group chat of the four of us and he even requested to make a video call.
"What is it again this time, Just?" Andrel said irritably, still looking at the mirror. Maybe he was reading a book and was just disturbed.
"Hulaan Mo?" It's still smiling at me foolishly.
"Can you just say it already? The f**k Justin, we're not fortunetellers." Ygrette said and I could see that it was even worse.
"Your head is going to be hot! Oh you Iya, maybe your head is hot too? I guess you haven't taken a bath yet. You should take a bath when your head cools down." He shook his head and said it.
"Just say it. Guess what guess what else you know, that's it." I said while laughing.
Poor Justin. Andrel and Ygrette are always met with annoyance.
"Fine! I heard Sister Jamie and Sister Leia talking earlier. I think Sister Leia will return to the Philippines next week."
"Oh? That's already said? Oh my god Justin you ruined my nap!" Ygrette complained again while still moaning.
"What does that mean? Look, if Ate Leia comes home next week, that means what?"
"We're done..." I said weakly. "Bingo! Terrible! You really have a talent! Ygrette keep it up!"
Ygrette stood up from her lying position. "OMG! Does it also mean that the family might be going on an outing?" She kept screaming and ignored Justin's yelling at her.
"It will be discussed when Tito Luke arrives. Maybe it will only be one day then because the others still have work to do."
"Boring! Can't they just leave their works? It's called outing for a purpose! Maybe they want to rest somehow."
"I think one day is fine for them. They're adults already, Ygrette. Besides, they still have projects to finish according to Dad because as far as I know they have a lot of projects this summer." I said calmly to him.
