I didn’t answer him because until now, my eyes are set to Uri.

He was about to say something a while ago but Ringo butted in and he was interrupted.

I was about to hug Uri that time but the situation didn’t let that happen. I was about to speak because Ringo suddenly spoke again in the distance.

"Miss Doctor! One more pose. Pretend that you didn’t know that we're taking a picture of you!" Ringo shouted in front.

Suddenly my forehead furrowed and my eyebrows rose at what it said.

"Pretend? So stolen picture? Like that? Are you crazy? It was just stolen and then you called me!" Annoyed I shout here.

Stolen right? Bat need to tell me more! It spoils the moment.

"Yes Miss Doctor, you are absolutely right! Stolen picture! Well, I cant understand the rest of what you have said." Ringo said smiling.

I saw Francesca's killer stares at Ringo and said something to him so he turned around here.

For sure, my best friend was bored here because it cut off the supposed reunion of Uri and me.

Francesca's angry face just vanished just like that and shifted to a playful one after Ringo said something to her.

I thought he would fight it but I look wrong. Why so? why do they still seem to be having fun?

As I stared at my friends and Ringo in the distance Uri spoke next to me.

My heart pounded immediately when I heard his voice again.

"Marian Irish, I ......" I heard Uri beside me then I looked at him.

I saw his face brightened and gave me the same smile as before. The smile i longed to see ."No ... unfortunately I was so busy that I just ignored it ... I know it's irresponsible of me--"

Uncle and I were both surprised when Math stood up suddenly. His expression is very dark. He went upstairs without saying anything. I just looked after him because of that. I heard my Uncle sigh so I turn to him.

"I'm really sorry for that. He might be really ... shocked right now ..." I apologized.

Uncle waved a hand to me. "No, I totally understand him. He needs to know it sooner or later, regardless. Anyway ..." he put his hand on my shoulder before standing up, too. "It's getting late, I will be going. Tell Mathieu that I'll go to your school's Sportsfest next week. I want to see him play basketball, as you said."

"I'll tell him, don't worry. Let me send you off."

I just accompanied Uncle Joey outside our gate. His car and the driver is waiting outside already. He gave me another bow, as he went inside his car. I just watched him as the red tail lights move farther away.

The wind blew me away next. This is such a weird night. I decided to go to bed since I couldn't think of anything to do that evening. I went to my bathroom and took a quick shower. After putting on some face cream, I looked at Sebastian who's currently sleeping. Sebastian is still fine, no problem. Suddenly, I remembered Mathieu's face when he walked out earlier. "Shhh ... don't make too much noise. Nana Lusing might wake up." I said softly. "Let's just watch Netflix and chill ..."

I was a little surprised when his chinito eyes widened. Suddenly, his face turned red. "S-Are you sure about this ...?"

"Huh?" I'm the one who's confused next.

"I-I already have a girlfriend ... B-But if you really want ... all right, it's up to you ..." I was surprised when he suddenly took off his shirt. He even scoot over to give me room to sit beside him. "But why here in the living room? Can we just stay in my room? We might get caught here. I-I still have a condom in the cabinet ..." he said suddenly to me.

I hooded my eyes because of that stupid reaction. "We're not going to hava have s*x, Math. The hell is wrong with you? I'm just asking you to watch Netflix with me."

He slowly blushed when he realized what I said. "I-Is that so ...? f**k, sorry. I thought ..." then he quickly took the remote from the coffee table to browse a movie on Netflix. "What b-is it good to watch here ...?" I just rolled my eyes, but can't help laughing at him. He was even more embarrassed because of my laughter. "Don't laugh at me ...! It's embarrassing!"

"I'll just get a beer in the fridge. You choose the movie." laughing I told him.

Exaggerated that he just nodded without looking at me. I went to the kitchen to get a beer, and a bag of potato chips. When I came back, he was wearing a shirt again. He's still browsing through the movie selection.

"What? Haven't you chosen yet?" I asked him as I sat down beside him. I noticed he moved away a bit when I sat down, which made me.

"Fucker, where the hell are you? You are wasting my precious time here!" He seemed really affected by the news ... Will he be ... okay? I also tried to sleep for a few hours, but I still couldn't help but think of Mathieu. After a few more hours, I decided to check on him already. It's twelve o'clock at night, so I'm not sure if he's still awake.

Before going out though, I first thought of messaging Allie about ... any advice she could give me to cheer Mathieu up. I started pressing my phone screen.

I immediately received a reply from Lusinda. Who would have thought that he was still awake at this time?

I took a deep breath before finally leaving my room. I knocked at Math's door gently, not sure if he was still awake. "Mathieu ... are you still awake ...?"

No response. I knocked for a few more times before giving up. This fucker is already asleep. I was about to get back to my room when I heard his door opened.

He's in his boxer shorts and black shirt. His face looks ... very gloomy. Mathieu just stared at me without saying anything. I walked right back in front of his room's door.

"I thought you were asleep ..."

He just shook his head.

We did not urinate for a while. Honestly, he's acting really out of character right now ... Since he has no plans to go out, yet he also has no plans to enter his room again, I just did what my mind is telling me.

I took his hand, which surprised him, then lead him downstairs.

"W-Where are we going ...?" it’s a perplexing question.

"No. Just follow." I said. I even smiled secretly as I gave his hand a subtle squeeze, which I'm sure he didn't notice.

I pushed him down the sofa which surprised him even more. I just smiled down at him after that. It's obviously confusing what I'm going to do. My serious look from Uri turned me to Ringo's adjacent camera.

My mouth shaped in "O" after i saw the pictures of me and Uri.

It wasn’t a scam we went to. This is the exact place we've seen in THE last few days since I last saw Christian. I didn't dare to call him on the phone because I knew I won't get any proper answers from him.

So, I'm here, facing the window. Thinking.

I called ate Jianne the other day to invite her over for lunch but it's busy time in the hospital so she can't come. She made a promise to meet me someday. Soon.

There is another person I can go to. He must have known something about my past. I seemed to come to life when someone answered the number I had dialed.

"Hello? Who are they?" voice on the other line.

"Catrina ... it's Maxine."

"Maxine?" he seemed surprised. "Oh my ghad, you better call! Where did you get my number?"

"Luis gave it to me. Are you busy tomorrow? I would have invited you out."

"Wait, let me check. Uhm .... I still have a project to finish tomorrow. Sorry."

I sighed. Looks like everyone is busy right now ah. "It's OK."

"Why? Do you want to say something? You can talk to me if you want." she said, hearing my disappointment.

"Nah, I just miss you. And I don't want to disturb you with your project."

"No, you didn't distract me. Actually, I'll just start that tomorrow."

I laughed at what he said. You can still hear the tiredness and stress in his hoarse voice. "Cat, take a break."

"No, I'm not tired! I'm fine, really."

"Yeah, but your voice can't hide the tiredness so take a break. Don't worry about me."

"Hay. It's not that I'm very tired ha. I'm really sorry if I don't meet you tomorrow," she said, apologetic. "You are always here with me, Mi. Every day" i answered smiling.

"Miss Doctor!" Ringo shouted at me after he took a picture of us in the middle of the huge pillars.

As soon as Uri started speaking, Francesca shouted loudly so she got the attention of Uri and me.

"Miabels! We'll take more pictures there !! You're leaving!" Francesca shouted.

"Doc! We are!" Pocholo said.

"Doc Mia, is there anyone handsome there?" Dimple said.

"Doc, Ringo's picture is beautiful! Here's the one on the internet! He's not a scam!" Joana said.

My excitement of seeing Uri in front of me disappeared because of my friends who have been calling my name non-stop.

They are ruining this moment!

I faced Uri again and i saw his frowned face and then clenced his jaw.

He was annoyed just like me.

I looked at him again.

I want to ask how is he, I want to ask if all this time he is here in Bali? I want to ask what happened to him. If he is ok?

I was about to speak when suddenly someone grabbed my arm.

It was Francesca.

Then I saw Ringo filled the space between me and Uri. I don’t know if it was a coincidence, or he really just had no idea. Suddenly it speaks.

"Look at the pictures Miss Doctor. This is almost perfect, especially you are the subject" she said smiling while showing the preview of my camera.

"Excuse me..Ringo said that he is here already. Actually I am with him. He said you should go to him there. It's a bit late because we're going to park. Do you understand french sir? Ringo said you are a Filipino , so i assumed you can under ...... "

She was in the middle of what she was saying when I slowly turned myself to face her.

Am i dreaming, or is this one of my dream? Is this even real? God, please don't wake me up. I want this to be real.

"Marian Irish .." i said with a gentle smile on my face.

She was looking directly into my eyes without staring but with minimal blinking.

"Uriel Simon .." she said with moist eyes with a touch of a smile. She looked like she doesnt believe that i was in front of her.

I would have run closer to him and he would have suddenly approached me ..

"Uriel! And Miss Doctor! Just stay on your place and don’t move! Don’t move !!! Ill show you the picture, perfect magic of Lempuyang temple!!" Ringo shouted at us.

We no longer listened to him and Marian Irish and I continued to approach each other when we were facing each other when Ringo suddenly shouted again.

"Hey both of you stop moving! Ill take a picture now. In 3, 2,1 !!" "I have found you, finally" Marian Irish said in tears.

"It's okay. You can go back and rest now. I'm sorry for suddenly calling you."

"Okay, go ahead. When I have free time, I'll text you. Let's go out with the others. I'll give you Milk Tea," he said enthusiastically but eventually weakened. Peacefully I just realized his deep breathing.

Your grandmother is asleep. Hehe. I ended up the call.

"Who did you call?"

I almost jumped when I heard a familiar voice. "Ghad, Christian! You almost gave me a heart attack!"

"It's your OA."

He's outside facing my window upside-down wearing a black cloak. I opened it to let him in. "Planning something?"

I raised an eyebrow. "No?"

"You know you can't go outside alone, right?"

"Who said that I'm going alone? I'm meeting my friends, that's all," I turned my back on him and walked into my room. He obeyed.

"Mrs. Vergara won't let you go even if you have to. You probably don't want your mom to be mad at you, do you?"

"That is my problem not yours," I sat up in my bed. He was there in my swivel chair.

"I'm just .... worried that maybe later you'll ruin what you're planning to make out," he couldn't look at me. It's like he's just looking for a reason for me not to proceed with my plan.
