Sandra’s POV I screamed. I looked at Serafino in horror. Did I hear him right? Tears rolled from my eyes, shaking my head in denial. This thing killed my parents! He was the reason I was left alone in this world. It’s like reliving the pain of losing my parents all over again. It pained me before, and it will kill me now. “Breathe, just breathe.” I heard Serafino’s voice, but it was like he is talking to me underwater. I tried to focus on Serafino’s touches and voice, and finally after what felt like forever, I was able to breathe and stand straight again. I looked around me after my vision was cleared, and found myself in Serafino’s arms. I was kneeling on the floor, and putting my head on Serafino’s chest. He was holding me tight. “Are you okay?” He whispered and I nodded.
