“Mom! It is Celia’s birthday! We have to go.” I whined.
“Of course we are going. But we need to wait for your dad to finish his meeting.” My mom said.
My mom is the sweetest soul. She loves me and dad so much, and she was ready to sacrifice herself for us, but I can’t imagine her gone from this world. She is my anchor. She is the one that taught me about mates and how important they are in life. I can’t wait to find my mate and for her to meet my mom.
“Are you guys ready?” Dad asked coming down the stairs.
“Your son was ready since morning.” They both laughed at me and I simply rolled my eyes.
“Bye Caroline.” I screamed as we left the house.
