ARIEL
We are at the fair right now and it is absolutely beautiful. It is really going to be a really fun night. I am really excited to try out some awesome things tonight. I look around and it is so refreshing to see people have fun without caring about the hardships of life and that is also what I want to do right now. There are these tall poles covered with fairy lights and they are connected up above us to a huge pole in the middle of the ground. There are almost a hundred stalls and I am excessively excited to try them all out.
"Where is Emily? She was here just now. Where did she go?" I hear Angel ask. And hearing what she said, I start to look around and I can't really see Ems either.
"Should we look for her?"
"Yeah we probably should" Nana replies to Angel. While they both talk and try to check Ems location, I look around trying to find Ems. Suddenly I see her face but she was talking to a guy whom I didn't know. I rolled my eyes when I found her flirting with the blue-eyed boy. It was so hilarious when she started grabbing his bicep and flirty smiling and the guy seemed to find it hilarious too.
"Stop worrying mums. She is over there trying to chat up a guy."
"God that girl will kill me one day with worry."
Me and Nana laughed at Angel grumbling. Eventually Ems noticed us and started walking to us with the guy tagging along. I saw his face and not going to lie, the dude looks like a freaking runway model but his face reminds me of that girl in the café. I really can't get her out of my mind, like she is so beautiful.
"Who is this fine specimen?"
"Arnold meet Ariana, Ariana meet Arnold. I met him in the café"
"What did you see in this psycho?" Ariana teases and Ems rolls her eyes and runs after her. While they are both chasing each other, me and Angel are just standing there with Arnold.
"We should probably introduce ourselves. My name is Angel and she is Ariel"
"Nice to meet you Angel and Ariel"
"nice to meet you too"
"So are you in college?"
"yea"
The three of us make conversation for a while and and then we all start exploring the fair. We shoot target, we try archery, we do the water guns and a lot more stuff. We roam a bit more and Aaron also joins along with his friends. I am standing at an ice-cream stand and buying some chocolate ice-cream.
"you really like chocolate. huh?"
I hear a voice from behind, I turn around and see Riley standing there. She looks really beautiful.
"um are you here?"
I hear her ask and I snap out of my trance and answer her.
"yea" I breathe out.
We stand there just staring at each other.
"are you here alone?"
"no.... with my friends. you?"
"I am here alone"
"Do you want to join us?"
"sure" she replies.
We walk together and make conversation.
"beautiful" she says.
"Yea it is. the stars do look beautiful."
"I am talking about you."
Normally it would make me feel uncomfortable and think of this as cliché but it made me feel treasured when she said it.
"f**k it" she suddenly says.
Before I can even ask her, she kisses me. I feel breathless with her passionate kiss but she is careful as she tries to feel if I am comfortable with it or not. To show that I am more than happy to kiss her, I pull her closer and open my mouth to give her access.
This is going to be interesting.
